This coffee and taco shop is a nice study space with good wifi and a second floor seating area. It's cozy with some interesting decor. The honey badger latte is a delicious sweet coffee. They have various fusion tacos, which are tasty but overpriced for the size. I got the Tikka Maharaja taco, which was a chicken tikka masala taco. They served it in a tiny metal stand, and the taco was falling apart and getting on the table as I was eating. I'm not sure why they don't give plates. I also found it inconvenient that they don't post their prices on the menu. I've seen this at food trucks but not well-established brick and mortar restaurants. read more

Arusha is such a cute spot to grab coffee in downtown Belton. They have a nice food menu as well which is not always the case at coffee shops. When I checked out Arusha was very excited to try this place, and we went in the weekend as a long drive to this place for late breakfast. It's a coffee in a old building, vibes are good and they have spacious seating inside, staff was friendly. We ordered two taco combo, it comes with drink, chips and salsa, but if you wanna replace salsa with queso, it's extra and drink I wanted blended so it was extra, husband got drip. Taco were exceptionally good, tortillas are small, but protein are good portions and all the ingredients were fresh and together tasted awesome. Queso was just okay, it was thin and it dint had that spicy kick in it. Mocha was a disaster, even now I wonder if they forgot to add espresso, because it tasted like blended chocolate milk, I dint even taste a hint of coffee in it. Husband was no fan of drip either. I got the korean one and the Kung Pao chicken one, and they were both delicious, but the Kung Pao was awesome. The flavor was tasty, and the peanuts on top went so well. I had a white mocha iced coffee, and while it was good, it was quite strong to me. The place is quite nice inside. The tables were a bit small for groups larger than 2, but it is technically a cafe, after all. People at the counter were nice as well. We met friends for coffee and loved the ambience. Had live music, great food and drinks, plus a wonderful staff. I don't love the prices but I totally understand with prices everywhere these days. I'd go back and highly recommend. I love fresh tea leaves too, but their inventory was picked over so teavanna is available, just get what's available at the moment. A friend brought me the first time I came here. Today, I came back with my husband in tow. We had a little anniversary lunch, each ordering the 2 taco combo. My husband got 1 bulgogi taco and 1 fish & chips taco. I also ordered a bulgogi taco and the Sha shrimp taco. My only complaint would be that the chips for the queso were a teensy bit stale, but everything else was fantastic! Even the bite I got to try of my husband's fish & chips taco! We had 2 glasses of water (even the water is good here!) and 2 cocoas. I highly recommend the Salted Caramel hot chocolate. Two thumbs way up! Both hot chocolates were better than what you get from Starbucks. We enjoyed our little lunch date from the upper loft area. This place has EXCELLENT tacos, but I would *not* recommend the Pumpkin Spice Espresso -- it is bitter and does not taste like pumpkin spice at all! I was also not expecting the place to be as big as it was - it is 2 floor with plenty of seating and WiFi, a great place to sit and chat with friends or do some work! I got the Colombia French press which was super flavorful, bold and tasty. They let you choose the country which you want coffee beans to be from, and there's so much variety - I wish I could've sampled all! I only got coffee, but they have several pastries (though the chocolate croissant looked very...pale lol, not that I tried it though), many yummy looking cheesecakes/cakes, and a full dinner menu with tacos and more. Also, they have a really cute display of teas and the decorations around the shop are fun to look at. It's a laid back environment and somewhat of a you're at someone's house with the different couches and seating but it works somehow. The tacos have some real winners though not the fish and chips one. The latte's are decent and the pastries are good. Overall quality is great! Service is great as well, always friendly and efficient! I haven't checked out an open mic here but I think it would be an epic event with the right promotions. Run to this place...immediately. I think these are some of the best tacos I've had in my life. Not only are the ingredients super fresh, everything tasted like a well cooked meal. Absolutely incredible. I had the N East and the Southwest Chicken. My husband had the lamb and the fish and chip taco. We also had a side of queso and chips. For dessert lwe had cheesecake and the carrot cake. There are a few options to try and far as the tacos go which I will be certain to try. Pros: A Is a great place for free internet browsing/work. Worth the cup of coffee? Maybe. Is very clean, placement i've tables and sitting areas are perfect. The pastries/cupcakes in a case, nice presentation + taste good. No more expensive than anywhere else + prob taste better. They didn't buy them at H-E-B. A plus. Cons: Food is tapas-size - not as advertised on the board menu - you find out later. But at full - plate prices. Not very tasty. It's so convenient that I would go there for lunch almost every day if the food weren't so disappointing. Coffee - cute setup but not on par with satisfying, rich offerings I would expect from a potentially unique coffeehouse. (I'm spoiled - North Beach, SF, real coffeehouses).But, a standard I wish the owners wd meet. You will not see a great deal of people over 40 there, which begs a question, marketing guys. In my opinion, Belton is lacking a "good" breakfast spot. However, Arusha is an awesome spot for coffee, muffin or small egg-type offerings. I had the Turkish Coffee (a first for me for this kind) and a quiche. Turkish Coffee was around $4 and the quiche rang in at $5. Both were full of flavor! Decadent single serving quiche and a murky, muddy, sludgy type Turkish Coffee (according to my google research of this type of blend - they nailed it). The business is in an old stone building and is rustic, yet very tidy. The men's room has a wall of cedar planking; so, that is a great deodorizer for a bathroom (lol). They advertise live music and have a luncheon/supper menu as well. Staff was equally pleasant and fastidious. Jacques was our barista - well done, sir! Will definitely be back. For my second visit to this local treasure, I had the salted caramel mocha latte - fabulous, and a chocolate chunk muffin. Quite delicious. Hubby had the Turkish coffee, a somewhat different treat, and the quiche, which was excellent. The affordability, along with the quality, of the food and coffee will definitely keep us coming back. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet not at all boring. The music in the background is quiet and a mix of eclectic genres. It is a kitschy place with lots of things to look at, space to read and relax, or watch some tv, chat with a friend. I've seen all ages here. The staff is friendly and seems to enjoy what they do. I cannot believe it has taken me an entire year to try this place. The service is beyond 5 stars and the food is absolutely delicious. As a vegan I was able to ask for my tacos to be a certain way and they were so kind to make it just the way I want it. However, beyond the reason why this place is so awesome on all levels, my favorite reason why I love this place is the fact that they have an individual working who has unique capabilities. Of course we are all unique, but when a business gives someone who is different than most people a chance to work, this just speaks volumes about them.
