Being from Hawaii, where the modern Açaí bowl was made popular and can be found are on every corner, I was intrigued to see what Texas could do with it.... so I ordered the Rio. It seems like they blend something (juice maybe ?) with the açaí and make it more like a thin smoothie with fruit topping. Super runny and not thick, not anywhere near the sorbet or milk shake consistency its ment to be. Even served in a To-go cup. But overall, not a bad substitute when you can't get your hands on an authentic açaí bowl. I'm sure the Gracie family (founders of the açaí bowl) would approve. I make a juice every morning I been doing it for two years now, so I know how fresh organic juice taste like. I went in and ordered a celery juice just to see how fresh it was, well it was very disappointing. It tasted more like water, with a very small taste of celery. It was my first time here and I was really looking forward of coming often and recommend it to a few people. Sadly I won't be doing that. If your going to open a place where you sell juices please make sure you actually represent that. read more

A nice healthy spot in Temple, Texas. Located near the Walmart & Starbucks on Adams street. My friend ordered the French quarter. Her recommendation was to be sure to order it with the rice because the cayenne pepper was overpowering with the spring mix. LOVE this place! Went to grab something healthy after working out and was pleasantly surprised at how filling (and delicious) the bowls are. I also had a wellness juice which was also very delicious! I've reviewed this place before but 2 months ago I did the 3 days Grabba Cleanse and forgot to review it... I like to take care of my body and back when I decided to do the cleanse I was feeling a little sluggish and wanted to try something new. Typically I do a detox twice a year with supplements but I wanted an all natural detox this time. I looked around the area and Grabbagreen was really the only place offering what I was looking for. I talked my wife into doing a 3 day cleanse with me. I was excited about paying $150 for each of us. A little over priced but I was being lazy and didn't want to buy the ingredients myself and do it all myself. The offer two options that come with 2 additional elixirs per day that you take in morning and in the evening. My wife and I both chose the Super Green option. We're both on a plant based diet but the Super Green seemed like their elite option and in my head I was like "if I'm about to pay $150 for each of us then I'm going all out and committing to these 3 days". I called the store I. The morning, asked a few questions, and the had it all prepared are ready for me by the time I got off work that afternoon. When I got there the store manager came to the front and greeted me and told me about his experience with the cleanse which I appreciated. He also offered to help me carry all the bottles out to my car. Long story short, the first day was a little rough. Drinking six 16oz juices a day is A LOT. The first day my wife and I both went through them as we drank them and ranked them worst tasting to best. By the end of the first day I was full/bloated and wasn't worried about seating actual food. The second day was better but by the end of the day I was over drinking my meals and wanted to chew food. The manager suggested eating a few almonds or soup so I did and that helped a little. The last day was a breeze! I did spend the day trying to figure out what I was going to have as my first meal after the cleanse. It's really about having a strong mindset and setting a goal of doing it. The Gingerly and the Heal were probably my favorite juices. It affects everyone differently. The juices sent my wife to the bathroom a lot but it didn't really affect me until the second day. The store manager suggested avoiding the gym during the 3 days but I still went and did light workouts. I definitely plan on doing this again! read more

Husband and I went for the first time to try this out. I really enjoyed the food. Great taste for food the is very healthy. Smoothies are really good and refreshing. Going into their restaurant the smell inside reminded me of baby vomit which was nerve racking for a first time visitor. We got our food to go.. I do wish their prices were lower since their portions are smaller. You are paying more to eat healthy. Staff was not super friendly but not rude. Very good place. Healthy food put together in flavorful combinations. I had a grab-your-own bowl with quinoa, kale, beets, beans, and chicken. The way they put everything together with cheese and sauces makes it very nice. Best of all, when I was done eating I was satisfied and felt good. Recently changed owners. Significant price increase ~20% and have also changed their food suppliers. Used to LOVE this place but don't think we will be headed here again any time soon. Do not think this will survive here if continues with these new changes. Ordered the kids Mac n cheese. Previously $3.50 and 2/3 of a pint box. Now $5 and approx 1/4 pint serving size. I have eaten the steak hash breakfast bowl 3 times and its surprisingly tasty! Twice I got the creamy avocado sauce with it. The harissa sauce that comes on it is good too, but a little spicier than I generally like. (I am a native Texan who doesn't really do spicy foods.) The fresh juices are great too. I have had one of their juices, one of their smoothies as well as one of their salads, of which were effective and delicious. I would recommend them, with their health food prices being the exception.
