The taco was crispy but a little greasy and overloaded with cheese. The ground beef needed more flavor. The enchiladas were also drowned in cheese and sour cream, and while the chicken was salted, it lacked flavor. The rice was bland. The charro beans were easily the highlight of the meal. They had the perfect texture--not too firm or too soft--and a rich depth of flavor that stood out from everything else on the plate. I would happily order those again. Overall, the food was decent, but I was hoping for bolder, more balanced flavors.

I ordered the chicken fajita tacos with augua de Jamaica, and my taste buds are blown. You get four tacos with fresh ingredients, made to order. They also provide packets of salsa, guacamole, and two lemon wedges. I only ate two so far, and I'm already sleepy but this was my lunch time heaven. There are options to dine at the picnic tables or take your food to go, and they also use Uber Eats. The parking lot is very very full, but with good reason. The food is delicious, and the owner is a sweet heart. I can't wait to try more of their menu.

We've been here multiple times and the customer service and food options are always too good. Prices are very reasonable. My husband and I have gotten the tacos, tortas, chicken and rice and recently took my mom who ordered the enchiladas. The chicken, cheese and rice is my favorite as it comes with a lot of food and has just the right amount of flavor. Also comes with their homemade tortillas which are perfectly made. The chicken enchiladas could use a bit more flavor, but they're still good. You can never go wrong with a Mexican food from a place like Tapatias. One of our favorite spots in the city.

Chips and salsa, a little kick to the salsa but tasty! Restaurant seats about about 80, with about 25 people when we arrived. We were seated quickly as there are 6 seating areas designed for groups of 8 and 10. Pretty unique seats and table--very colorful and inviting. I ordered the Parrilladas de Camaron for one, grilled shrimp with onion, bell pepper served on sizzling skillet. This came with guacamole, rice, refried beans, sour cream, and pico, corn tortillas. Wow! Lots of food, as indicated in prior reviews. Great food, great prices, and atmosphere. Our group of 8 was served in about 20 minutes. We requested individual receipts and didn't incur a mandatory tip for a group -- that was a unexpected but welcome surprise! One member of our group celebrated his birthday, so he received a birthday song and cheesecake while wearing a taco hat! Perfect end to a great, amusing evening with a great group.
