Service was extremely poor. When we walked in we noticed there were no customers. My husband, son & I waked in and were looking up at the menu for a good 5 minutes looking forward to some good shaved ice & a smoothie. More than two young girls were behind the counter & one even walked by us twice. No acknowledgment or even a greeting from any of them. It was enough for us to turn around and leave. We frequent this Bahama Bucks at least twice a month as an after school treat. Normally our visits take less than 5 minutes from order to product. Today was surprisingly long. We usually go through the drive through but today we went inside so that we could look at the Flavor of the Week. We waited to order for almost 5 minutes and watched while the employees ran around taking orders from the drive through and prepared those drive through orders. (In past visits inside we have always been promptly greeted and helped). After 5 minutes someone came to take our order but did not apologize for the wait. I'm guessing maybe the front cashier was on a break....I'm not sure. My daughter ordered the Gummy Bear BRM with Strawberry Ice Cream and I ordered my usual Sugar Cookie BRM with vanilla ice cream and lots of cinnamon sugar. I ordered mine as a "flat top" since we would be eating it while going home and the last few sno cones we've gotten at this location have been very very drippy and messy . A Flat Top is a sno one without the dome and put in the next size larger cup. We waited for another 10 minutes for our sno cones and while we waited I watched the workers. From what I saw, I am guessing one of the employees was a trainee because he was much slower than the other worker. Maybe this was the cause of the long wait. Our sno cones tasted good and my daughter enjoyed the Gummy Bears . I would have preferred more cinnamon sugar but I'm honestly not sure how to emphasize EXTRA cinnamon sugar when ordering. I've tried it so many different ways from "Please put lots and lots of cinnamon sugar" to "I'm serious. I want extra extra cinnamon sugar and I will pay extra if needed". read more

Still trying to get the aftertaste out of my mouth. The highly anticipated (at least by my household) Bahama Bucks Opening was today. To our surprise we showed up at 11am and it wasn't very busy at all. This was our first experience at a Bahama Bucks and I had heard good things. We ordered 4 Baby Size Snow Cones and that was over $12! Much higher than other places in the area. Here's what I DID like: Nice and Clean, festive atmosphere. Friendly staff. The spoons and tiny umbrellas. That's about it. *2 out of 4 of my party did/did not like the flavors. Here's what I DID NOT like: the cashier wasn't yet knowledgable about the flavors (this is your point of sale and upsale and I think this is a MUST!) the price was too high in my opinion (you're paying for the cute stuff!). The MOST important thing: FLAVORS. I LOVE Shave Ice/Snow Cones/Raspas and I have never thrown away a snow cone, ever. Today I threw away 2! I first tried the Mango and it didn't have a Mango flavor at all, very fake tasting and left a horrible aftertaste. So much so that I even asked if they accidentally gave me sugar free or something. They were kind enough to replace it with White Coconut. Can't go wrong there right?! Wrong. So wrong. Again left a bad aftertaste. I was so beyond disappointed. My kiddos tried Sour Lemon (LIKED it), Birthday Cake (LIKED it, but I absolutely did not, so incredibly artificial tasting), and Rootbeer Float (Only Sorta Liked it and ended up not liking it). My husband and grandson son loves this place and the cost of the shaved ice is so reasonable, and the cashier's are friendly.

I've had their shaved ice before and it was good, but I tried their smoothies today and was disappointed. We got the Oasis and Mango smoothies. Both were just not good flavor wise. Customer service was good just thoroughly disappointed after having such a good experience before. read more

I know they close at 10 but they were beyond unprofessional and rude due to them being upset they had to continue to make snow cones. Just moved here, thrilled to see BB It was like reuniting with my love. You can never go wrong with BB. Been a customer for years, every location has been perfect as far as the sno goes. However... we waited in line for over 30 minutes. It was over 100 degrees outside. One cashier, who also does taste testers. there's no excuse for that with a house full of employees. I don't know if it was the manager or the owner, but she was walking around from station to station helping, she or someone else should have been at the front helping customers order, or doing testers for those waiting in line. They were getting orders out quick! But mostly for the drive through, as no one was able to order at the front. Two different families left before they got to order. Another left to go through the drive through, then came back in to eat. And the line hadn't moved. The girl at the register was very nice, very efficient, but can only do so much when customers want to taste the entire store before they order. No reason for this to ever happen. The other issue is parking and the drive through. Make some stripes so people won't line up in the parking spaces. We had to sit in the drive through line for a few minutes as well just to park. :/ read more

I went to Bahamas today and ordered a rainbow snowcone with cream and a tigers blood snow cone with whipped cream and a cherry on top as well as a smoothie. When we got to the window I got the rainbow snowcone first without cream and kindly told them I had ordered it with cream. Person at window gave us a ride look but then added it. We looked at our receipt and the person who took our order didn't add the whipped cream and cherry to my sons order or the cream I had requested on my rainbow snowcone. Person gave me my snowcone and was trying to give us my sons order without the whipped cream and cherry and let them know we had ordered that as well and before I could give her my card to pay for it she rudely interrupted and said " well it's not on the receipt, pull to the side and you'll get it" Once they came out with the order it was still wrong. First timer to Bahamas Buck's but very happy, I ordered the Large Ice Cream Flavor with Cream very nice flavor but it did have an After taste but not off putting just a subtle after taste and my second trip I got no Cream and I didn't get the after taste so I will have to experiment with that issue but it won't stop me from going for a frosty treat. This long awaited opening left much to be desired. The flavors were VERY bland but yet left a horrible aftertaste. When looking at the syrup in the cup, you could see a greasy film which I could only think was tons of corn syrup, used for sweetening. Now the cost....... WAY WAY WAY TOO HIGH! While it's sweet to have umbrellas, we wanted a snow cone (shaved ice) and would gladly pay that high amount for one that tasted good. I will say that the ice had great texture but that's it.
