I ended up waiting at the window for about 25 minutes before anyone finally asked for my order. At that point I wanted to leave, but I had already invested so much time waiting. When I was finally helped, I politely asked how long the wait time would be after placing my order. The employee responded with "I don't know" in a way that came across very rude and full of attitude. I calmly explained that I wasn't attacking her -- I was simply asking because I had already been waiting a long time, and I had frozen groceries in my car. Unfortunately, the attitude continued. She then told me she didn't know I had been waiting because I didn't ring the bell. I explained that I had already exchanged pleasantries with another employee, so ringing the bell afterward felt unnecessary and honestly a little rude. Like girl... nobody was coming for you. I asked a simple question and got attitude for no reason. If you work customer service, acting irritated because a customer is asking about a wait time after standing there for 25 minutes is crazy. Being busy is one thing, but being rude and trying to match energy nobody even gave you is another.
