    Bulgogi bowl

I adore this place. The food, atmosphere, and service is always amazing. The bulgogi bowl is my go to. It's always fresh and yummy. They recently added the Kdogs which are great. Plus they have a huge selection of drinks. It's a little pricey (I tend to spend around $40 to $50 every time I go) but the food and drinks are always worth the price. Not the mention the couple that owns the place are always really sweet.

    Happy Birthday to me!.

On average I'm spending around $20 for two people. It's extremely tempting to try something new every visit. The menu selection is interesting, spans from coffee/tea to ramen noodles to waffles. The pesto is bursting with flavor, goes well with rice and lettuce. The atmosphere is relaxing. I wished I lived closer; it would make for a great homework spot. Even though it is off in a cut, there's a steady stream of customers sitting down and picking up food. The staff is helpful, patient and family-friendly. I plan on trying the spicy pork bulgolgi next visit.

This place is awesome. They have literally everything from teas, coffees and boba smoothies! Unlike other coffee shops they also offer different types of ramen of each spice level, you can also add in eggs or rice. They also have pork and beef Bulgogi to offer as well. This is a perfect place for a lunch date or family evening they offer loads of board games that are kid friendly, and fun for adults too!

A hidden gem! We came here with our family for dessert! We had the Bingsoo (shaved milk ice with fruit or other toppings and flavors). It was really good, we'll be back for sure! They also have waffle desserts that are made fresh there. We tried the mango coconut and the strawberry banana. The atmosphere was cozy, with comfy seating, good background music and it was clean and bright. I recommend stopping by

I can honestly say that I've found my new go-to Korean food and shaved ice spot. Unfortunately forgot to take pictures of the food - Yukgaejang, Beef Bulgogi, & Tteokbokki because it was demolished the second it got to the table, but everything was a 10/10. As a Korean myself, I know how things should taste, and let me tell you, this place EXCEEDED my expectations. Thank god I had enough room for the pat bingsoo because it was the perfect *chefs kiss * ending to a great meal.

Bloom is a jewel of a coffeeshop in the heart of kileen. With good coffee, boba, and of course bingsoo It's almost as is you are completely transported into another part of the country or even the world as you walk into this bright and cheery little shop. The place: Bloom is the perfect place to knock out a couple paragraphs of homework or sit down with some friends and play a boardgame. The ambiance reminds me of a nice little shop somewhere in Seoul with plenty of outlets and plenty of light. The service: There is probably not another coffee shop with nicer service in the city. The young girl that helped us out was adorable and very diligent. And they managed to keep up with the orders even though they didn't have an army of baristas behind the counter. The food: At bloom they have more than just coffee, in fact for a small little shop they have a really diverse menu. Bingsoo, this shaved ice delicacy is my favorite thing to get here at bloom. With dozens of toppings both sweet and savory there is something for everyone. I get the coffee bingsoo which is made from frozen coffee shavings rather than regular ice like the others. It is drizzled with chocolate and topped with almond slices. Bingsoos have a unique consistency in between a classic shaved ice and ice cream. And for 5 dollars for a good sized small, this is the perfect treat for two. Bobba: while I dont get the bobba usually they are mostly know ln for having one of the best bobba milk teas in the city. They have many flavors and are always satisfying. And for a good price, this should he your first option in Killeen. Coffee: it's what they do and in the name. A nice roast to start your day. Snacks: one of the coolest things about bloom is the amount of snacks that you can buy. They have all kinds of asian snacks and candies. And you even have the option to buy some instant noodles or other little meals which they will heat up and prepare for you. Waffles: the shop also has waffles. Yep, liege waffles that you can get with toppings that will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Final thoughts: bloom is unique. It's an adorable little shop where you can spend hours with friends or deep in your schoolwork. All while enjoying delicious drinks and desserts. I keep coming back.

Such a quaint place, a little hidden but I like it. Very friendly service. First time and surely not my last.

Quiet place off the beaten path. Very nice place for a meet and greet, or to just get out and have a tea, smoothie or coffee.

It reminds me of a tea party. Ample space to sit and hangout with friends. Parking available behind the Narunya building (across from the Post Office) This place is odd... there's tea/coffee and Asian food like steamed buns but then the other half of the menu is Italian pasta dishes. Interesting combination. Service is friendly and helpful. I was hoping to order some of their breakfast toasts I saw online but was informed they are no longer serving breakfast but may begin again soon (this was 5/10/2025) Because they didn't have the breakfast toasts I did not try the food. Only the beverages. The tapioca boba was soft and fresh. The tea was ok, tasted good but didn't wow me. It seems like the milk teas are made with powders so it's not as nice as they could be. If you are craving boba it gets the job done. The Vietnamese coffee is tasty and very sweet! I'm not sure if there's an option to adjust the sweetness or if it's premade in large batches. I'll definitely be back to try the food!

I thought they were great, but a bit pricey. Third time, closed. The owner messaged me that the store was closed and told me to cancel my order though, I know they cancel the order. Two dashers were assigned. I caught one, but the other made it to the store (I'm sorry ). Customer service was quick, and I should have done that. Toast and Tea should have also cancelled the order. Lots of maybes here. Maybe they were dealing with an emergency, maybe it was a different person I dealt with this time around or maybe they assumed I would cancel and lose my own money or maybe they really didn't care much for the customer or drivers. I can make my own dang pork buns. I'm not paying double for this.

5 out of 5 Living in…read morethe Austin area, you don't expect to find a legit Korean pocha experience in Killeen, but K1 & Bobapop is exactly that--a solid bar food and drinks spot that knows what it is and does it well. We've driven past this place countless times on our way from Austin to Dallas, finally gave it a shot, and we're glad we did. ---- Pros: - Great Korean bar food (pocha-style) - Solid drink menu (soju, soju slushes, and beer) - K-pop music videos playing on the TVs sets the mood - Karaoke bar and Bobapop (boba/desserts) - Open late (until 2 AM Thu-Sat) - Ample parking - Call button at each table for service Side Notes: - Opens at 4 PM daily (Sun opens at noon, closes at 10 PM) - Can get busy on weekends - plan accordingly - Delivery available through DoorDash and Uber Eats What We Got: - Soy Garlic Wings - Galbi - Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes) - Kimchi Fries - Corn Cheese - Soju + Terra ---- Design/Space: K1 has that authentic Korean pub feel - neon signs, K-pop videos on the TVs, and a trendy but casual vibe that makes you feel like you're at a late-night spot in Seoul, not off the Central Texas Expressway. The space is on the smaller, more intimate side, so tables are close together, but that's standard for a pocha. It works for the vibe they're going for. The Bobapop section is a nice touch if you want boba or dessert after, and having karaoke next door gives you a reason to stay longer. It's well thought out as an all-in-one experience. Services/Staff: This is where K1 really impressed us. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. We were greeted right away, and our server walked us through the menu without making us feel rushed. The call button at the table is a nice touch - you press it when you need something, so you're not awkwardly flagging someone down (typical in LA, but not in Austin much). Drinks were refilled, and food came out at a good pace. Compared to some other Korean spots we've been to in the area, the energy here felt right for a pocha--friendly, casual, and lively without being over the top. Food/Drinks: I want to be clear - this is bar food, and that's exactly what it should be. K1 isn't trying to be a fine dining Korean restaurant, and that's what makes it work. It's a pocha. You come here for good fried chicken, some rice cakes, cold soju, and a good time. And on that front, they deliver. Opportunities to Enhance: A couple of small things. One, for how good this place is, more people need to know about it - their social media and online presence could use a push, because this spot deserves more foot traffic. Two, being Korean, would love to see more bar food bites from Korea, but might live octopus with sesame oil + salt might not be something the area is ready for, haha. Again, these are minor--the core of what they're doing is already solid. ---- Summary: K1 & Bobapop is exactly what Killeen needed - a legit Korean pocha experience with great bar food, solid drinks, and a fun atmosphere. It's a spot where you go to eat good fried chicken, drink soju, watch K-pop videos, maybe sing some karaoke, and have a great time. We'll absolutely be back, and if you're in the Killeen/Fort Cavazos area and haven't tried it yet, you're sleeping on one of the best spots in town. Keep doing what you're doing, K1.

The restaurant tacked on a mandatory 18% service charge, which we were told does not go to the staff as a tip. Being expected to tip another 18- 20% on top of a mandatory 18% fee means paying nearly 40% over the menu price. While the staff and kitchen did an amazing job, this kind of deceptive pricing leaves you feeling like you got ripped off. We didnt complain because the server was nice but this is something that needs to be addressed.
