This was my wife's and my first time at the Dutch Bros in Temple, and it was such a great experience. Alexis (working at the drive through) was incredibly kind and welcoming and really made our first visit special. I had the banana bread drink (so good!), and my wife had an iced tea that was perfect. First time going to a DB, didn't really have a good experience. I'm 100% unfamiliar with the menu, I am diabetic so I was looking for sugar free options. The person in the lane taking my order wasn't able to give me annnyyyy type of suggestion. I was trying to ask about flavors and drink options, and after (I assume) he got frustrated, he just openly told me "I don't really know about sugar free options. I'm new, I have no idea". And magically, there were 4-5 cars that pulled up behind me, so I feel like that made him anxious. He instructed me to go to the window and the lady would assist me better. I get to the window and the girl is talking over me the entire time. I finally get to tell her I didn't get to order a drink, and asked for recommendations. I told her I wanted a shake, as pink flamingo. She did answer my questions, and helped me make adjustments to ingredients; the shake was gross. The flavors do not go together. I didn't like it. At that point I asked her to remake it... I believe I ended up getting (basically) a SF peach shake with extra white chocolate (?) with almond milk. I honestly can't remember the ingredients after adjusting the ingredients and feeling rushed/I was holding up the line. It was better tasting, but 100% not worth the hassle or price. It was watery, bland, and the customer service was weird. It seems they have a great selection for sugar free, but it wasn't reassuring when the employees don't help you understand what you're working with, or they talk over you and try to finish your sentences for you. read more

They have great coffee, 100% better quality than the Starbucks they try to pass off as coffee.

Drinks are always good as Dutch Bros has a great menu and quality drinks but I normally always go to the other location by the temple high school because employees at this location will talk forever to their friends and have a full blown conversation while there is a long line of cars building up and customers waiting. They see customers waiting and just keeping talking and ignore customers still waiting. This location takes 10x longer to get orders out and typically if you have more than one drink order one is wrong because they are not paying attention. To busy always talking and playing around than taking care of the customers. read more

This place is awesome! Drinks are amazing, and I love how they have a variety. Like sometimes you're not feeling a coffee they also have teas, lemonades and sodas. I also love that they have many sugar free flavorings as well. Staff is super friendly, and very helpful. (I never have a bad experience with them.) -Anthony is super positive about everything! I love how he can always empower everyone. He is so sweet, and is AMAZING !!! -Mia is super helpful, she always speaks about the more positive things in life, and always motivates people. She always truly believes that anything is possible in life, and nothing can stop you. She also is very aware of people's allergies, and asks ask everyone before sending to the kitchen. - there is another amazing young lady with red hair, that is amazing there (I don't know her name, I believe she's new, but she's the best!) she goes above, and beyond about her her work. I was a Loyal Starbucks Customer for 22 years. I expected the same service when I moved to Temple Tx. I was sadly mistaken. One day in Feb 2022 I decided to drive across the street and go to Dutch Bros (a Favorite of My Husband's since He spent many years living in Grants Pass) and I've never looked back! The Staff is ALWAYS friendly, The Service is outstanding and the drinks are delicious! The staff is made up of mostly Young Adults who are like "Bonus" Kids to Me. I had a rather unfortunate experience at Dutch Bros yesterday. I'm a new customer so I didn't think anything when entering 1 of the 2 drive-thru lines available as I didn't notice any specific label for either. I did notice 2 employees with IPADs approaching cars in the other line, however, they saw me but never approached my car. As I sat there I thought it was strange that they didn't take my order at the billboard. So finally I merged over and got to the window. I was then told that I was supposed to order with one of the employees further back who never approached my car. They apparently were supposed to zig-zag through both lines. I asked if she seriously was telling me to go back around in line to order. Her face said yes but she ended up letting me order my 2 drinks there. It took a little bit while they prepared them but shortly after the car behind me drove around me and yelled over at me angrily. The situation upset me a bit because it was my first time and how was I supposed to know the correct protocol on ordering at their drive-thru if it's not clearly marked. So just beware new customers before you get angry looks and/or comments from the drive-thru employees or fellow customers. Despite the sucky drive-thru experience we did enjoy our drinks. I got a blended Snickerdoodle (forgot to ask for whip) and my son got a blended Mocha. They were both good. read more

Don't think I got the right thing my drink was watery and just tasted strong. I wanted a blended almond frappe with almond milk. My kids loved their drinks they got a kids hot chocolate and a strawberry soda. Prices were good 3 drinks for $10 and customer service was good. They were very friendly. I think I'll come back after I do some research and try again because I'm desperate for something other than Starbucks. read more

My friends and I decided to check out Dutch Bros. We're starting a book club so we met there to talk about it. All of us would rather go to Starbucks. I got the Double Chocolate blended. It tasted like Homemade chocolate milk. Chocolate syrup mixed with milk. And on top of that they had rap music blaring where the guy had a hard time understanding me and I had a hard time understanding him. He was friendly though. He was the only good thing they had. And it's rare to find someone like him. Sorry Dutch Bros I won't be back for a while. And I will never be back by myself. Worst Coffee in town. At least at Peggys I'm inside. I used to be a Starbucks snob. But I have been converted to Dutch Bros. due to the friendliness of the Broistas and the delicious drinks. They go out of their way to make you feel like a friend, and the drinks are amazing, and a large is actually a large. I am always happy with the quality of the service and the drinks themselves. It always feels welcoming when you pull up in the drive thru with the upbeat music to start my day just right. read more

Had an awful experience, kind of becoming the norm at this location. I have been all over the country to different Dutch brothers and for some reason the employees here are just rude. So today I get belittled and yelled at by this one blonde lady because of the drink i ordered. I told the manager in the past how she was treating me, but it seems like it's the norm here. I'm not sure how this young lady is still working there as this has happened on multiple visit. I asked for her name to make a formal complaint but she threaten to fire other employees if they told me. Kinda weird right? Anyways I'm done giving this location my business. Another place with expensive frozen drinks that my kids will bug me to take them to and I will avoid getting anything to save myself the calories lol.....my kids tried the cotton candy (I'm not a fan) and the coco mocha which was like a frappuccino. As someone from the PNW I was excited to try Dutch Bros for two reasons - the company is originally from Oregon, and the coffee scene in the Temple/Belton area is terrible. Sadly, Dutch Bros is also terrible. The next time I want to have a hyperglycemic emergency (please note, I don't have diabetes) I shall try one of the various sugar laden concoctions from their menu. Coffee is pretty good. Tried the vanilla cold brew with oat milk. 3 stars bc apparently walking up to the window is slower than if you go thru the long line of cars in the drive thru. The car I would have been waiting behind was definitely gone before I got my coffee. Will try again tho. read more
