This visit today wasn't a good visit. I mean the employees were nice. But, The coffee was horrible taste like hot water. There was no favor no nothing very disappointed with cup. Came to this Starbucks location today because the Copperas Cove location was out of sugar free vanilla syrup. I had my 80 year old mom with me, and let's just say her order is a bit complicated! Lol! The man who took our order and greeted us at the window was so kind, friendly, and patient! He was amazing, as were the other workers in the store today. What in the multiverse hells was that?!!! Pink & yellow hot funky mess! (Pineapple chunky ish) My family went inside. Showed the actual picture and presented a detailed drink recipe (created by a Starbucks barista online) of a tropical pineapple strawberry refresher (with raspberry syrup, strawberry purée, blended) to the staff. Yes, the RECIPE!!! The staff looked at it and PRETENDED like they knew how to fix our several drinks. They took our money and we waited. One, it looked NOTHING like what we showed her. But we were assured that it was the same! Two, we took the drinks and presented them to our awaiting family at home. We tasted them and... PURE TRASH! It tasted like bad cough syrup, sadness and shame with pineapple chunks. Yes, pineapple chunks! My goodness! If you can't make the drink I requested, say so! This is the worst Starbucks is on Clear Creek in Killen, TX. My daughter placed an order and since I am not that familiar with the area. So, I showed up at 9:02 to pick up the order. The service here is so slow I'm afraid to order anything more than a basic coffee order because it could potentially could take more than 10 minutes to get it. Going in or doing the drive thru are hit or miss. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I once had to point out that no one had heated up my wrap after already waiting five minutes, and then when it was done in the microwave I had to wait and then had to speak very loudly (yell at them to stop and listen) over all three baristas who continued to make other orders behind mine to BEG for my food so I could just leave. I wish there was another coffee place I could stop in to before work but no, I'm stuck with this crapshoot embarrassment of a Starbucks, and that's saying something. I'm so sick of them not being able to make my drink properly! I usually get a Chai Latte. I used to be able to able for 8 pumps and it taste fine. Now I have to ask for 10! I had this one bad experience, but the personnel usually do a fine job. (When I walked in Sunday night, there was only one barista working. He had his hands more than full making multiple orders for a drive-thru customer. After a couple of minutes, a guy came out from the back room and took my order. Then he went back out of sight, so then I was Stuck like Chuck waiting for somebody to make my order, please! It took twenty minutes for them to get around to it. Meanwhile, I am being increasingly annoyed by the extra-loud music playing. And they hadn't even had my first choice of brew available, so I had settled for a second choice. Went yesterday and were the only ones to go through the drive through at the Time they were not busy at all. So it was absurd how slow service was. Went again today for another coffee fix and the line was to the road and busy inside probably because they are just slow here. read more

The drinks are okay but the service is very slow. Starbucks use to have time limits and this was taught when hired. Also all espressos shots should be timed bc they expire quickly. This is my second favorite Starbucks in the Ft Hood/Killeen/Temple/Belton area. The Fort Hood Street location off 190 consistently has amazing service despite the cramped location. But my vehicle is in the shop getting some love and this location is a midpoint between the auto dealership and my fam's home - which access to is limited due to overnight flooding. Oversharing about why I'm here for four hours or so? Yes. The car valet service for Patriot Buick GMC dropped me off so I ordered at the counter instead of the handy app. There were five total employees - one at the register, two with their backs to the registers actually working, and two that were at the drive through/drink area with excellent peripherals of any incoming customers. I waited a good 20-30 seconds (at the register with card in hand frowning) while the two employees with excellent peripheral vision at the drive through area had some conversation with the one standing with her back to me at the register. **The two others were busily working and have zero responsibility in what happened next. ** I finally got fed up in my caffeine induced withdrawal and stated, "EXCUSE ME. May I get SOME service?" The team lead who was working back to counter, Aki, immediately turned around and apologized and we went about our day of serving and receiving my delicious light-iced filthy soy chai. I'd like to think this was a fluke. But when a customer named Michael came in, I heard everyone say hello to him and even ask him where he was working now. So.... basically, get your acts together, three ladies. You are a purveyor of caffeine and you NEED to provide service to people whether or not your conversation is super important (which I doubt). This Starbucks has some serious problems!! I gave it a chance!! My wife and I make coffee at home during the week but on the weekends we go and love to spoil ourselves with a Starbucks coffee, our drink is the Carmel Macchiato. Three weekends in a row we ordered this drink it cost 10 bucks for two and what we got was hot milk, no coffee flavor at all, Carmel nonexistent. They did this to us each time so I thought it might be a weekend thing due to a lot of customers or something, so I went when there wasn't a line during the week because I drive by it everyday to go to work. But even when they are not busy they do not take care of there customers, and refuse to deliver a quality product!!! The drive thru is sluggish for sure . It is a hit or miss . I've gone at different times . I guess it depends who is working or what day. I only prefer this location since it's so close by. I don't know if it Depends on if it's a rush or who is working but lately the drinks/ coffee isn't tasting the same to me, my coffee wasn't hot either , it was just really warm . Man, the way the employees carry themselves at this location is worse than middle schoolers. At one point another patron complained to someone for the employees to be quiet. This is a coffee shop, not a bar, there's not reason anyone should be yelling. At one point the manager was hollering at an employee "for taking two 10 minute breaks in a row." C'mon, take that to the back and discuss it. The manager was in the main area and the employee was behind the counter. Everyone in the establishment was staring at the altercation. Then, later on the female employees were yelling across the place and laughing like crazy. One was mopping all across the place, and two of them behind the counter were carrying a joking conversation with her. Towards the end, someone not in uniform was walking around with the drive-thru headpiece on. Just ridiculous. The only reason for two stars was because my mocha was made deliciously. read more

Awesome location, right across from Central Texas College and Metroplex Hospital. The inside is geared toward students, in which it consist of two, four, and group seatings arrangements. Moreover, there are tables outside, great parking, and a drive thru for those on the go. Expect to see GI's getting their fix, for the store is seconds from the Clearcreek gate to Ft. My wife and I are Starbucks lovers through and through. Not only did we have to repeat our order at least a dozen times to the lady but when I asked for extra pumps of white mocha in my drink she explained to me that my drink already had 6 pumps. When I said yes I know she responded with so you want additional ones. When I said yes she asked us to pull forward. When we got to the window our order was still a little messed up so I had to get the other guy to fix it. Not once did we receive and apology or anything. Habitually out of Cold Brew at the beginning of the day. I have visited this particular starbucks in the morning around 7AM. 5 TIMES in a row I asked for cold brew and they said they were out. Each time I opted for the inferior and more expensive iced coffee with a shot added. On my fifth time I suggested that they simply increase their on hand supply and they explained that they have special beans and they can never get enough in stock. I have no way of knowing whether the batista just failed to make some in time the day prior. However they assured me that the next morning they would have it ready. Like a fool I showed up the same time the next morning and they didn't have it. They once again offered the iced with a shot alternative. Clear creek starbucks location is officially fired.
