    Our amazing gluten free gift!

This was such an incredible gift! This was for my son who is recently diagnosed with celiac. His best friends family ordered it and we were (are still) completely blown away. What an awesome thoughtful gift and hand delivered

My sister's birthday was the day after Valentine's Day. I loved everything I saw from Chatterbox, but I know my sister, she doesn't like chocolate or wine. Kate heard my dilemma and customized a basket with an exotic pear, Jolly Ranchers, and mini vodka. Way to save the day!!

I wanted a locally owned and operated small business and I lucked out when I connected with Kate at Chatterbox.

It was such a fun experience getting the jewelry on. She had cute options and since we couldn't decide we got multiples and half and half bracelets. My daughter got an anklet which was adorable. I wish I'd gotten one but it was still cold out and I wasn't in shorts to show it off yet LOL. I also got soap and a soap bag. I've got their candles before and they smell really good. She has cute clothes and other handmade jewelry and she now has beautiful hats that she burns designs on and I've been wanting one for a while now. Definitely visit her, she's at a lot of markets now. Follow on IG for updates and whereabouts!

I supplied the shirt and it was agreed upon what I wanted on the shirt. A simple logo along with a leaf. I constantly would check in for updates as weeks went by to only get the run around through text messages. "I'll have it done by this weekend". Two weeks later "I've been held up, I'll have it sent it tomorrow. What's your address?" Asked for tracking info then after paying via venmo because the "Shopify was having issues". Never received tracking info and I asked for yet another update. I was then refunded via venmo but still never supplied with the tracking information or a update on my tee shirt. This went on for a total of 4 months!!!!! Supposedly the custom words got messed up, the owner tried to "replace the shirt" but that didn't work. Then it became not worth it to fix her mistake because she "gave me a discount". I never asked for a discount. Mind you, I heard this from another source not even from the owner herself. She didn't have the decency to reach out to tell me the truth on what happened, she was scared and it was easier for her to stop talking to me and block my phone number.

We bought two things that were almost identica, so when I went back in to return it less than 24 hours later they would not refund me my money that they only offered store credit. I was just visiting this area for the week and am too far away to shop here again to just casually chop. So them refunding me was really the only way I'd really be receiving my money Back. At the time of purchase they did not say items could not be returned, and if they were returned they would only be given store credit. This is something most businesses do if they have this policy. They pointed to a small sign on the table. I told them in the future it might be nice to have a bigger sign that isn't so easily over looked or tell customers when they purchase something that any items they purchase can not be returned. they said they don't make exceptions on this rule that they are a small business. I'm tempted to dispute this with my credit card company but am going to cut my loses. I handed the gift card to someone I met on the street a couple blocks down in hopes they can get some use out of it, since I won't be.

Parking was plentiful and easy to find. Overall, I would say it's pretty stroller friendly! We have a 1.5 year old who really loved running along the lavender fields. There was shaded seating, a few vendors (2 matcha/drink vendors near their flower shop, in the lavender fields - book vendor, honey, lavender gifts, vases/art, and a few other options to browse. We opted to do u-pick lavender and they had cute baskets with shears to borrow. Bundles were reasonably priced and you can also buy more lavender goods at their store. I bought some lavender tea which I also use for my baked goods as well! Such a wonderful experience!

The farm also throws a pumpkin festival with corn maze during pumpkin season (Sept through All Saints Day). My daughter and her husband hosted my wife, her mom, and me over the long Fourth of July weekend, and we all went to the lavender farm on a Saturday afternoon. Parking is free on sides of a private gravel road, with a clearly marked entrance. Admission is $9 per adult, being purchasable at the gate, using a credit card. Leashed dogs are welcomed, and there is a grassy area in center where one can find shaded places to sit or play games under a tent, or play cornhole nearby. There is also a nearby field with wildflowers in various times of bloom. It was a clear day, allowing us to see impressive Mt Rainier in the background. There is a small gift shop on the premises, where a nice lady explained much about the farm. We ended up buying both lavender infused essential oils and roll-ons. External info: There seems to be five different types of lavender: English (aka Common or True), French (aka Fringed), Portuguese (aka Spike), Spanish (aka Butterfly), and Lavandin (hybrid of English and Portuguese). Within each type, there are cultivars (specific variation bred for specific traits like color and scent). We saw areas of both the Royal Velvet and Melissa, both cultivars of English lavender. We also saw Grosso, a specific cultivar of Lavandin lavender, which is the most popular for commercial use, reading its the most common lavender at the farm.

I'm sure the animated girl has her appeal to some but my goodness is their modeling products so cool. You really do need to go see in person just how detailed each item is. I have purchased from them to buy gifts for friends and the only thing that surprises me more how intricate the models are is their prices. No joke everything minus that pinball machine next to the cash register feels like it's on a discount that if I ever walked in doing a no limit retail therapy session, my bank would probably be the one pulling me out.

If you were into LEGOs or similar or did small crafts, this store is a blast. Everything is friction-held together for the most part (tiny amounts of glue on occasion, from what I gathered by chatting with people). With all the pieces pre-painted/cut so you can focus on going through assembly as a fun time. Some of the models have very simple motor/light electronics which bring them to life. Unlike LEGOs, these are designed to be crafted together and then displayed without remixing them further. Large variety of model types. Some which fit onto a bookshelf and tell a story, some which are small city buildings, or some that are just items like flowers. The store interior showcases a large variety of the models, and staff were helpful with pointing out ones which fit a particular interest (we had a friend we know loves stag beetles and surprise, they had a stag beetle). The models run around $40 for the middle sized ones, and we ended up buying several, as nicer gifts to friends who we know would appreciate the fun of assembling them and showing off their creations.
