This Chatime is a five-minute drive from my home. It's in Asia Food Mart at China City Mall.
This mall is really a plaza. It does get busy, but dies down at around 9 pm. I have never had a problem finding a parking spot.
When you enter the grocery store, Chatime is on the left, at the back of the store. You can't miss it. You'll see the Chatime logo lit up with a large bubble tea graphic above it.
There is an order kiosk on the right where you can place your order. I wanted a human and had a nice woman behind the counter take my order.
My first bubble tea order was getting the tea of the month: a large QQ peach tea (no sugar and less ice). I have since ordered many bubble tea flavours, including my usual peach QQ tea and September's tea of the month, which is the salted caramel milk tea.
As with any Chatime, you can substitute the milk in your drink for oat beverage. I love that it offers a dairy alternative.
I got my Societea barcode scanned every visit. It was straightforward. I have paid with debit and credit cards. I never encountered any problems.
The woman in front of me got her bubble tea. When she went to stab her straw through the seal, her entire bubble tea fell on the floor and splattered everywhere. It was quite the sight.
I liked how to female staff members came out immediately with mops to deal with the mess. They were awesome! They also made her another bubble tea.
The wait has been minimal every time I've been here. My bubble teas have been yummy. Chatime has paper straws for your bubble tea. The key is to hold your thumb over the top of the straw and stab your drink at a 45° angle.
I like coming here for my bubble tea fix. It has torn me away from getting my usual iced tea at Starbucks across the street a bunch of times.
It's a good Chatime. I'm a fan.
