There's a range of prices from simple gold hoops at $25 to detailed baubles and bejeweled necklaces over $100+. I saw a knockout of a wrap bracelet with three rows of cool gemstone colors for $179. Immediately decided I would come back for it later. Hah. I challenge you to find something of this quality and craftsmanship anywhere (Etsy, Nordstrom, other boutiques etc) for anywhere near this price. I love to be able to touch and feel the weight of the jewelry so the hands on, local experience is always my favorite. I'm already making another excuse to stop by. I probably have walked in there 20 times over the years. I don't think anyone recognizes me (which is fine by me), but I have never encountered anyone being rude to me. I tell the salesperson I am "just browsing" and I feel quite comfortable walking around and exploring. Sometimes I chit chat with the sales person, but I have never felt ignored or judged. It is a small business, many times they're multi-tasking, but that's the way it goes. I have noticed the prices have gone up but their costs have gone up too I am sure.

The clerk referred me to Lock and Safe in Englewood. The clerk explained that they had not received training for car keys. Service We walked to the register just as you enter the store. The cashier was with a customer. My aunt and I waited patiently to ask a question. I wanted to know where to go and get the keys made in the store. My aunt is 92 and I did not want to walk around looking for where the keys are made in the store. Anyway, we waited and waited. Never did the cashier acknowledged us or seem concerned that we were waiting. Once she concluded helping her customer she said how can I help you. She was nice and directed us to the back of the store. My complaint, she could have acknowledged us with, I will be with you in a moment. Do you have a quick question? But I have a feeling I am too old fashioned! But I feel elderly people (me included) are invisible or the individual is not a multitasker, and I understand. Key clerk Very nice and upfront. I haven't felt this at-home since Thanksgiving '98 when Grandpa and I road a tandem bicycle to Olive Garden and filled our bellies to the brim with bottomless salad and breadsticks! (He's passed away now - gluten allergy) When walking into the store, you may shed a tear, because at this Ace hardware, you're family. The kind staff and I always hold hands as I browse about the store...and NO it's NOT because they're concerned for my safety!! Stop being silly, ya silly goose...Maybe a wrench, maybe some rock salt, heck maybe even just a random bottle of hot sauce...the options are endless! They have everything, at very reasonable city prices. Four months later, we've dealt with delays, wrong cabinets, incorrect finishes, missing pieces, and zero accountability. Trying to reach a real person is nearly impossible, and getting them to fix their mistakes is a joke. This has been a complete disaster from start to finish. Avoid this place at all costs.
