I wouldn't give this store a single star if I had the choice. We were told our cabinets were in stock when we ordered on December 20th, 2025. Four months later, we've dealt with delays, wrong cabinets, incorrect finishes, missing pieces, and zero accountability. We needed a refrigerator as soon as possible, so we went to this location and had a great experience with the employee who helped us pick one out. The delivery team was great as well. However, during the process we were never informed that the delivery crew could not touch the icemaker or water main line. When they arrived, whoever the driver spoke with over the phone was telling us they could not work with the water line and that they had other deliveries to get to, so they needed to leave. There was no consideration or clear explanation from the person on the phone. Because of this, my brother had to drive 20 minutes to come install everything--even though my mother paid not only the delivery fee, but also the installation fee. Great in-store experience, and great delivery guys, but the communication about installation was very disappointing. read more

Deceived, wronged and taken advantage of. 1st attempt at delivery of our refrigerator - delivery guy said they would not touch a copper water/line. Most homes have copper water lines. I was not told of this possibility when I gave Lowe's my money. Delivery guy drove away with our fridge. It cost me $450 for a plumber to tell me this is typical of Lowe's. 2nd attempt at delivery My wife inspected the fridge and found a large dent on the front of one of the doors. Again, delivery guy drove away with our Fridge. I called Lowe's twice, the phone range at least 50 times each call, no answer. I drove to the store. I talked with Emily "the manager". She said it will take another month to deliver another one. I insisted on a refund. She did not offer an explanation or say sorry. She was mechanical, outwardly unconcerned. Do not recommend the Lowe's off Santa Fe and Bellview for appliances. They lie and tell you what they think you want to hear. We purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's and paid for the installation. When the tech came out he said we needed a longer hose and needed to go back to Lowes and purchase it (the hose was in the box) and he left the dishwasher in the dining room. We went back to Lowes spoke to Asst Mgr and she said we had the correct hose and a new install date was set. When that date got here the 3rd party called and said that they could not do the install - all they do is delivery. Went back to Lowes and spoke to the store manager who said she would take care of everything. She gave our information to another Asst Mgr who called and said that we would need to have a plumber come out and do the install. Really? We paid for installation but because the line needed to be ran around a lazy susan Lowe's 3rd party would not do the install. I do NOT recommend this Lowe's! Unfortunately we have ordered more appliances and now getting the run around about we need an electrician to install because of hard wiring. According to Lowe's website - IF you purchase the install - they will install the appliances - apparently this is NOT true! They seem to make their own rules if they want to install the products or not. I have sent a complaint to the customer care dept but have not heard back yet. read more

Lowe's installed a dishwasher in my home that, by their own analysis, doesn't work. Getting the replacement dishwasher swapped out has taken hours of frustrating time on the phone and one entire day off from work waiting for an installer, Jake from CRST, who decided, all on his own, to not pick up and install the replacement. Now they want me to take another day off from work to sit and wait. Operations Manager Tim says there's nothing that he can do to help. I paid for a dishwasher and installation package on July 24. It is now August 19, and I do not have a working dishwasher-not a special order, understand, but a standard, in-stock model. Had an excellent experience with Appliance Factory today, installing a dishwasher in a different house-what a contrast. I wouldn't buy a nail from Lowe's. read more

Their phone system is a complete disaster. No matter which number you call, you get the national Lowes -- it is impossible to phone your local store and talk to a local associate. I told her what I needed and she confirmed with another employee and then sent me in the direction of where I needed to go. I was able to find my item quickly and effectively and head up to a fast and convenient check out. As much as I like to browse hardware stores I also like to get what I need and be on my way. This Lowes has very poor customer service . I ordered 2 doors and never heard one more word about my delivery . When the doors did not arrive on the date scheduled I checked on their automatic system it had a date BEFORE I even purchased it . Then, I tried calling their customer service desk which was A NIGHMARE. to even get to an associate ( their options on the auto system). When the call FINALLY went thru - no one picked up the phone . I had to try it all AGAIN ! The second time I counted - it rang 40 x - still noone picked up ! SO I DROVE OVER THERE ~ to talk to them in person ! It turned out they had delivered the doors but to the wrong condo number ( just dumped it). I gutted a condo and have done 23 projects on it ( mostly thru Home Depot ) but a few thru Lowe's . I wanted to give Lowe's another try. This store is usualllt EMPTY compared to the Home Depit across the street ! I now know why ! EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!! I bought a convection oven from Lowe's in early December. We were told the delivery date would be on Dec 11. They ended up dropping it off and not telling us. It was shoved behind our garbage cans. Which we had no idea it was there, and right before a snow storm. When my wife and I attempted to contact Lowes about installation the phone just rang and rang all day. So I went in on my day off. I spoke to a man who took $45 from me and told me it was towards the install. The company that Lowe's subcontracts through for installs only had available days weeks out. To be clear, it's not even for the install itself. It's for the "detail" where they come and look at the oven and the kitchen it's going in. They assign you a day. They don't ask what works for your upcoming schedule. They simply tell you "this is when it's going to happen". If you call, you will only get a robotic voice asking you if you'd like to keep your appointment or not. No human. At this point we have no working oven and we are having to wait until the end of the month just to have this subcontracted company look at it. No price quote yet. No real communication with this company. We are EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. We will NEVER be shopping at Lowe's ever again. Everything about this transaction was just BAD. read more

Short summary: was told the delivery team would call the day before to give me a delivery window. Did not receive call. Day of delivery, I received a call saying the team was 5 mins away. I rushed home, they had left even after I specifically said what time I would be back (20 mins), because they "don't wait longer than 15 mins." When I called customer service, I was given no help and an absolutely horrible attitude. Ordered and paid for a dishwasher with Insall and delivery on 6/15/23; they estimated install for 6/19 (7days) and would call me in 48 hours to schedule. 3 days later they had not called so I called them and they told me that they did not have the unit as they had advertised and they would let me know the next week when they had it and they would then schedule installation. Online the website says it can be delivered free to my house the next day (Friday). I called the install dept; the customer service center and the store fulfilling the order (this store) and was on the phone for a total of 4 hours with no resolution. I am a pro member that will stop doing business with Lowe's. I purchased some expensive gear that got discontinued and now I can't buy any parts for it. I purchased this gear just last year. They were not willing to make it right and gave little to no care. Also when I got to the store, I had to ask for times to speak with the manager and had to wait 30 minutes until I was finally helped. A few days ago, I got an email saying my special order door that took 2-1/2 months to arrive had finally been delivered and was ready for pickup, So today I went to the Lowe's on Santa Fe to pick up the door. The first thing the sales rep did was code in that the order was picked up, and then went to look for the door. You guessed it, he couldn't find it. The thing about coding in that the item was picked up is that there apparently is no way to undo that transaction. After over an hour of searching and trying to figure out a way to unscrew the situation, I gave up and asked for a refund. There was no way I was leaving the store without the door after it was coded as picked up - I'd be out $725. The excuse given was that it was probably scanned in incorrectly. I don't buy that you can scan anything incorrectly if you don't first have the item. And then they said it would probably arrive on the truck due in this evening. I don't buy that either. Worst Lowes ever! I tried to return a drill that I never even took out of the box. I had the receipt bit I guess I looked "shady". The return clerk told me I had to go back to the Lowes I bought it from because he thought I was Shady. I walked out and said Im never going to shop here ever again.I talked to the assistant manager about what happened. I came back in and the same clerk called me shady again! Then he decided to mock me in front of the manager. The manager just told him to go somewhere else. I finally got my money back. As I was waiting for the manager to go get the money, the other clerk started the same thing with an elderly couple over a broken light bulb they were trying to return. the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I called to ask about a piece of trim, a woman was helping me and the call with disconnected. no big deal, it happens sometimes. I call back, and am transferred to her again, and she immediately picks up and puts me on hold without saying anything. I wait on hold for 25 minutes and decide to try back. I call back and get hung up on right away. try again, and the cycle continued for almost 2 hours. I surmise she realized she gave me the wrong info about the trim product, realized it mid call, hung up hoping I would forget about it, and when I called back she tried dodging me left and right. Finally got a woman who claimed she was "customer service" and I asked to speak to a manager. She said there is no manager then hung up on me. I called back, got her again, told her I think you hung up on me and I'm looking for a manager. She hung up on me AGAIN. What a horrible horrible experience at this store, just trying to talk to someone. STILL can't get thru or have someone call me back as they committed numerous times. Lately since both Hubs and I are doing some home improvements, we visited this Lowe's. I like this Lowe's. Arent sure why? We were there on Thursday June 4th 2009 since we were in this part of the neighborhood. Apparently, we managed to find the "Bathroom Kit" that we need for the bathroom refurbishing we need to get done. There were other items like certain faucets that we were eyeing for and this Lowe's has it. They also have the ceiling fans fixtures that we like, though I cant deny they dont have this "particular model" that other Lowe's that we have visited at other parts of the town. Why cant all the Lowe's across the state carry the same inventory? Oh well, it all depends on the management of each Lowe's and the location on where the Lowe's is situated that might determine the demand on certain inventory. Another thing we look for was the blinds and the lighting fixtures we need. The staffs are accomodating, inviting and willing to assists us when we cant find certain items. Among other things, while we were there, there arent any many customers, perhaps since its a weekday and its like after working hours. For this I like this Lowe's. Cant access plant isles because of carts and buggies with dead/dying plants. I find the "clearance" section. The sign says "price as marked" and none had a price. Why even have a plant section? I've been waiting a year and 2 months to write this review, that's how long it took to remodel my kitchen. To lay a couple of things out before I get down to the specifics please know that there were 4 parties involved: 1) Lowe's, 2) A granite company for the counter tops, 3) 5280, the general contractors and the source of most of the review below. 4) Ivan (a wood specialist called in to fix a botched wood beam job). So my wife and I went to the Lowe's kitchen remodel and design department to price out some cabinets and get an idea of what a completely remodeled kitchen would look like. we got the design we liked, and talked about a custom wood beam aesthetic to cover the rafter beams in the ceiling to have that exposed rafter beam look. That was my first mistake. I should not have gone through Lowe's, or their people, for specialty work, which is what it was. Lowe's should have said they were not equipped to do it. Even if Lowe's could manage it, they should have vetted a contractor that could handle it. The problems associated with the beam work took most of the year. There were three attempts, the first was so off and crazy that we made 5280 take it out and redo it. the second attempt was slightly less absurd and I expressed my displeasure again. The third attempt they brought in a skilled carpenter and it was perfect on his first try. My frustration with the beam work was that Lowe's didn't give the job to the right person, 5280 admitted they had NEVER done any work like that before. To Lowe's credit, they did eat all the costs associated with both of the reworks. The cabinets came in broken about 1/3 of the time. The other 2/3s of the time 5280 would split a panel, not pre-drill when they were supposed to, crack a seam, or split some molding. What encapsulates 5280's work is what they think is "good enough". I saw this every time they came to the house and we had to hound them ad nauseam to complete even the most basic of tasks at a rudimentary and professional level. 5280 said to me, at least twice, "you get what you pay for". In this case I would have loved to have gotten what I paid for. I know the difference between boutique remodeling companies and Lowe's Contractors. Believe me, I was not asking for anything out of bounds. I had to ask them to their face if they thought the work they did was good, they could not, or would not answer me on that specific point. The main reason the remodel took so long (quoted as 2 months) rested squarely on 5280's shoulders. They broke cabinet components then tried to hide it with paint and touch up. when we said that was unacceptable they would sigh and inform us that it would be another couple of weeks or a month before the replacement cabinetry would come in. The incompetence of the beamwork I attribute to both Lowe's and 5280. They should have said they couldn't do it and left it at that. The company doing the counter-top granite was exemplary and even kept 5280 honest. At one point the granite installer said he was uncomfortable installing the counter tops as the cabinets were not level, or even close as he was used to adjusting a little bit to compensate. I called 5280 in to fix it and with another sigh they reluctantly came "across town" to fix what should have been done in the first place. Any other contractor that came into the kitchen and looked at the work of 5280 was appalled by the slip shod job and corners cut. Again, Lowe's was a good advocate and ate a lot of costs associated with re-work. They also sided with me when they saw the second attempt of the beamwork as unacceptable. All in all the kitchen looks good but you have to stand back a little to really appreciate it, don't get too close or 5280 will come through as the handy workers. It's not the end of the world and I have a remodeled kitchen that I can fix the rough edges myself. The moral of this story is to make sure to have specialty work done by specialists and if Lowe's or Home Depot says they can do something like that to put their feet to the fire and make them prove it with samples, and references. Also, I should have vetted and approved the contractors myself and will do so in the future. I may ask Lowe's to take on another project at my home, this was not the first time I have solicited their services, but I will never, I repeat, never allow 5280 to do any work on my main property or any other property I have ever again. I will always remember the name Shawn at 5280. That's how that works. read more

I came in to rent a carpet cleaner. I was informed that even though they had two units sitting there, they couldn't rent them out because the "barcodes aren't matching up and we need to wait till all the other units are returned" then another employee told me that a bunch of stuff is getting stolen, every time I speak to an employee they seem confused two units sitting there and they can't rent one to me. Bizarre I asked for a manager and someone else came and spoke to me and I don't think they were a manager. I could be wrong. read more

This is my happy place in the summer. Flowers glorious flowers! There are lots of them here in the garden center. I was able to find organic soil and compost and lots of beautifully colored flowers. I want to say thank you to John in flooring. I went in to buy tile. The pattern I chose, of course, was located on a pellet clear on top. Although John was on his way home for the day, he found a lift and got the pallet down. Days later, one of my tiles cracked , I measured a piece of tile and brought it to the store to have cut. John was there and cut the tile perfect. When I got home I realized I had marked the measurements on the wrong side of the tile! I brought another piece of tile to be cut (measurements on the right side this time) again John was there and cut it for me. He was always kind and understanding. Thank you John!! I came in an hr before they were closing for a couple of items. Since we just moved into a house our yard needs some major work done. I walked around in massive circles trying to figure out what grass products would make my grass grow and found a very small selection. The grass feeder for planting flowers however had a slugs section. I then proceeded to shop around, and found out that they don't mark anything that is currently on the Weekly Sale Add that is available for viewing online. So good luck trying to show the half blurry image online to the cashier. I did walk around most of the store. I was suppressed that not a single employee was available to answer any questions unless you walked all the way to the front of the store. At this point I just wanted to get out of the store and go to Home Depot since they are way more helpful! Do yourself a fav and go down the street to Home Depot where they have better prices and more attention to their customers. Oh and one more thing. Purchased an air-conditioner/furnace and was ill advised; sold me a 2.5 unit that is way too big for my condo and sounds like a freight train. At a $15,000 price tag, one would think to get better service. Tried to reach customer service - no answers!
