We got a private tour of the hanger!
Amy W.

This was our last stop for the night. We were on a tagabrew quest and this was on our list. Once we ordered our beers, we found out they were playing music bingo, so of course, we hung around! We didn't win, but it was still very fun. We have been to the Instead location and the Auburn Hills location, so we knew we would enjoy the beers here. The atmosphere was airy and open. The patrons were a variety of ages and all very nice. The service was fast and very friendly, especially for how busy it was. We spoke to the owner, who was very nice and he took us on a private tour of the air hanger! This was such a nice touch. We were extremely appreciative. We didn't eat anything so I can't really comment on the food. Overall, this was a great spot! We would definitely recommend it!

If you want an amazing experience at a boutique winery come to Rives Junction located just off of 127. Wine is incredible and don't forget to ask for a tour of the hangar to see the 2 planes. The wine and beer are awesome and you can't go wrong visiting in my opinion a number 1 winery in the Jackson area

One of my friends and I stopped in on a self-directed winery tour on 4/1/21 and were sooooo glad we did!! It's a super cool building and we can't wait to go there in the summer and sit outside on the patio! Austin was our server and he was SUPER fun and informative! We tried the Semi-sweet wines flight and it was really fun! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Bummed they are not open later. I thought Rives-Eaton location open until 9 but hours say 6. No after work wine breaks.

Not bad wine; a bit over priced for someone who doesn't grow their own grapes.

Stopped into Grand River Brewery - Jackson for the first time last night, expecting a quick dinner,…read moreand left really impressed. The standout was the service. Kristina, the manager, personally stopped by, introduced herself, took our drink order, and gave us some helpful menu recommendations. That personal touch really set the tone. Food was excellent. I had a build-your-own burger that was awesome, and we also had the Rachel, which was fantastic. Drinks were equally strong: beer, cider, and a margarita flight that was a lot of fun. The stout was especially memorable because it reminded me of Lion Stout, which I have not seen in years. That alone gives me a reason to come back. Between the hospitality, the food, and the drinks, this ended up being much more than a simple meal. Also appreciated hearing about their Beer Mug Club and Sunday brunch. We will definitely be back.

I scoured the web for the best sounding wrap I could find and finally set my sights on Grand River Brewery. I ordered a Santa Fe wrap to-go, got there before it was even ready and was home to eat it within 5 minutes. To my dismay they had left the spicy ranch off the wrap. It was dry and unpleasant and that was an unfortunate tell of what was to come. It was accompanied by an odd tasting pickle, which particularly hurt my heart because I am a woman who loves a good pickle. This next part was especially jarring because the ambiance of the restaurant really seemed like they would have good fries, I'm sure they would be good fresh, but the ones I found inside my to-go box were not that. Sad, hard, dry fries that tasted and felt like they had been sitting out for hours. Truly disappointing. In summary, twas certainly a mistake to treat myself to this TWENTY ONE dollar meal that didn't even include a drink...21 dollars for a horrible wrap, horrible fries and a weird pickle. For that price I was really expecting the best wrap I've ever had, I could not have been more let down. My Venmo is grace-shoemaker- if you're feeling sympathetic to my experience. Thanks for tuning into my blog.

In fact, after my visit, I think I actually appreciate its rough appearance. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was entering "the real deal" of craft; nothing fancy - just quality. In addition to his beers, he also makes his own spirits and the whiskey was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not a huge whiskey guy so I'm sure a "snobby" person may have a different opinion but it's most definitely worth a shot during your visit. The owner, who was working behind the bar, was extremely personable and seemed to make quick friends with every guest that came in. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his craft. I will be back and will make sure I bring others with me to experience this hidden gem.

When you pull into the parking lot, it can be hard to tell which building the brewery was in. Particularly since there was snow covering the signs. Once we figured it out it was an adventure from there! The ambiance... It reminded me of a mix between a basement bar from the 70s and an old West bar. The owner, Bobby, was awesome! He was so friendly and relatable. We learned all about his farm, his family, and his animals. Love it! He introduced us to his amazing black garlic gin. I mean it was delicious!!! He made a great bloody Mary with it, and it was one of the best I have had. He also sent us home with some garlic and horseradish! We tried some interesting black garlic which was the consistency of a gummy bear and delicious. I can't wait to go back in the summer months. It was such a beautiful place!

(Heart) My husband and I were looking forward to having breakfast today but it didn't happen bc of our schedule, so the fact that our lunch experience was excellent, well that was just sweet. Came in on Sunday during lunch. The place had some people enjoying a cold beer and eating at the bar and some were on the other side of the room. After checking the entire place out, decided to eat bear the bar by the window and enjoy the view. We were greeted by a sweet and kind smile from a little child, that just warmed our hearts as it was very genuine and heartfelt. My husband and I each ordered the Tecumseh Brewing Company Burger known as the TBC on a challah bread, accompanied by Caroline's onions, the famous TBC Bear Cheese, candied bacon hot and fresh! Which did not disappoint and it delivered all of my beefy burger cravings and satisfaction. They also come with a good portion of their chips and a dipping cream sauce. We decided to try Poppi cold drink for the first time. We both have been eyeballing them at the grocery store for a while now and boy are we glad we tried them. I even mixed mine. He had the strawberry and I have the ginger lime and inhaled it with half of his Strawberry, you can thank me later (wink).... We had fun talking about life and the great weather approaching so we had a nice meal and nice chatting. Looking forward to the music bands, trivia and out door dining Al Fresco. Thank you TBC for a great day!
