Tacky! Wines are terrible, Boones Farm tastes better. Only reason I even gave 1 star is because no stars isn't an option.

They have the wine you're looking for and a stout and IPA guaranteed to quench your thirst. We ordered the 3 cheese charcuterie. Perfect for 2 people. They had a live Irish band playing but since I'm Deaf it didn't matter but my girlfriend listens for me and said they were good. Great job folks. Hope to be back!

The facility has a country feel. Lots of comfortable seating in the sun or on the porch. Everything is very welcoming and relaxing. The staff here is very friendly. They help each other and with to make your experience enjoyable. Lots of smiles and pleasant. The wines were nice. They have a large variety of sweet and drys. We found that we liked the Norm's the best - especially for a warm summer day. Norm's had a smooth flavorful blend of Chardonnay and vignoles. In general you can get a glass or a flight of wine to try. No traditional tastings at the wine bar. My wife really liked the hummus in her vegetarian wrap. The kettle chips were nice and crispy without being too greasy. My Wine Club sandwich was excellent. It was piled high with meat and very tasty. Overall...very good experience. Go out of your way to visit!!

We came right at opening so everything was pretty clean although staff were still roaming around finishing up different tasks. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, gave us sufficient time to look over the menu and checked in enough to not be over-bearing. While we were there, several customers came in to either to order take-out or pick up their take-out. It was awhile before some of them were acknowledged and then there was no real place for them to wait. So everyone was shuffling around awkwardly to make room for incoming customers, while those waiting had to stand in the entrance, near the bar. The food is why we came. The menu photos looked amazing and their facebook page is always getting rave reviews and comments by other customers. We were kind of disappointed. The onion rings had a nice crunch- but it was a lot of batter and not a lot of onion OR flavor. Both of us agreed it need some sort of seasoning. The dipping sauce was okay and a very small portion. My husband was very excited to try the half chicken with their rub- but after two bites said, "This rub is literally like dirt." I tasted it and yes, it had a very grainy feel in your mouth and definitely had an earthy overtone. He said the fries were the star and the white chipotle sauce was good. I got the Southwest salad and added brisket for an additional $4. The brisket itself was pretty good- although for some reason I was expecting it to be in thinner strips, not small chunks. The salad mix itself was very basic. Very... "leafy"- and it absolutely needed more dressing. Overall, I felt underwhelmed and like it was something I could make at home. We aren't dying to go back anytime soon- but if we're ever in the mood, I think I'd like to try their brunch options or maybe a sandwich.

She made great suggestions on which wines to try and had excellent recommendations of other places in the region to check out. She emphasized the 3 sip rule with the wine- make the judgement after three sip. Held true. I liked every wine I tried but the Cab Franc was my favorite! Because it is summer I also picked up a bottle of the Gewurtztraminer, super crisp and refreshing. The grounds are lovely - I wish it was a little further from the highway but what can you do? Very worth a visit if you are in the Benton Harbor area.

The grounds were beautiful and I loved the view of the vines from the tasting counter. We tried a variety of the reds and whites; some of our favorites were the Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir. We were disappointed that the Chardonnay Reserve was not available. Equally, our server didn't wash our glasses before switching from white to red nor really explained any of the wines while tasting them. She did leave us the bottle to peruse details. Some of the more common varietals had a unique flavor so go in open minded for what notes of fruit or spices you taste. Overall if the service level increased, this spot would easily be a 5/5.

The countless times I have entered and felt the entire mood of the place and then suffered through it. I am not an old codger, dear reader. I am fairly optimistic, yet the most expensive issues for dining out are costly. For my time, my wallet and value. With that, I am pleased to offer "Cooperhawk Winery and Restaurant." It is beautiful. Inside and out. It is for the connoisseur and the starter. It is priced right and there is something for everyone. Ordinarily, I would dismiss this type of venue. But it was the occasion of our anniversary and my wife is a wine girl. So I did it. And when we walked in,,, it was stunning. The first thing you will see is the grand wine wall with a long bar in front of it. This is where you can choose wine tastings and flights. Get a little something before dinner. They asked me if I was a card holding member. I laughed and said oh no. By the end of the day, I was. And am glad for it. The staff treats you like you are welcomed guests. Kind. Intuitive... and helpful. They are educated and know their stuff. The wine tasting was outstanding with the Sommelier addressing every facet of the drinks we were trying. And it was delicious. We were called for dinner and sat in the main dining room. Beautiful. Warm. Clean. Immediately, our server showed and wished us a happy anniversary and brought us complimentary champagne. (When you reserve your seats, it asks about special occasions). A bonus. We had a warm soft pretzel loaf with butter as we waited. My wife ordered a filet mignon platter which she defined as excellent. I had a chicken dish with outstanding potatoes and fresh green beans. More wine please. We imbibed. While we were full from the main course they still brought out some truffles to seal the deal. We decided to join the club and got a membership. 2 bottles of exclusive wine a month for $50. A fair value as with it comes wine tastings, complimentary glasses of wine when visiting and several offers a month. We have been back several times, and each is better than the last. I encourage you to come a half hour early to enjoy the spirits and relax before your meal. 10 out of 10.
