Great place to visit especially on a rainy day! I visited this vineyard with a group of 7 people and definitely loved the view of this place. It's also quite peaceful. Their wines are delicious, my favorites are the Franc and German Riesling. Kid friendly and pet friendly. Must visit if you're visiting st Joseph. Staffs are friendly and so welcoming. Nonalcoholic sparkling wine is very good too. Even my 2yo nephew loves it. read more

The worst Michigan winery experience ever! A shame because when I visited 10 years ago it was great. This time the woman doing the pours didn't welcome us, barely said anything to us. The four wines we tasted were terrible & worsened because they were served in plastic cylinder cups! Should have guessed it would be bad when there were no cars in the parking lot on a Friday summer afternoon. Very disappointing!! read more

What a delightful place. I stopped in on a Thursday early afternoon so it was quiet and I could spend lots of time speaking with the staff. Taylor was super helpful. She made great suggestions on which wines to try and had excellent recommendations of other places in the region to check out. She emphasized the 3 sip rule with the wine- make the judgement after three sip. Held true. I liked every wine I tried but the Cab Franc was my favorite! Because it is summer I also picked up a bottle of the Gewurtztraminer, super crisp and refreshing. The grounds are lovely - I wish it was a little further from the highway but what can you do? Stopped by 12 Corners Vineyard on a Sunday as a group of six. It was $12 per person for (5) tastings and one got to keep their stemless tasting glass as a souvenir. The grounds were beautiful and I loved the view of the vines from the tasting counter. We tried a variety of the reds and whites; some of our favorites were the Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir. We were disappointed that the Chardonnay Reserve was not available. Equally, our server didn't wash our glasses before switching from white to red nor really explained any of the wines while tasting them. She did leave us the bottle to peruse details. Some of the more common varietals had a unique flavor so go in open minded for what notes of fruit or spices you taste. Overall if the service level increased, this spot would easily be a 5/5. read more

Visited on a Friday. The piano player added a touch of class but did not make up for the unfriendly staff who argued with us about splitting a tasting. Really should not have been a big deal but somehow was. Wines were decent but not exceptional. Great deal on a case of Cabernet Franc. Outdoor space nice. So much fun to stop and have a tasting! I believe it was $12 per person, included was 5 samples, your glass, and a piece of chocolate. We really enjoyed ourselves! We both tried completely different things, so really, we each got to sip 10. haha Everything I had was good and I would have purchased everything I sampled! I ended up going with a 4 pack of the Juicy Lucy peach cider. All of the bottles were priced very well. 10/10 would do this again and would love to buy more of their stuff! read more

On our way to a wedding near Grand Rapids, my friends and I stopped by this small Michigan town to sample some of their wines, and were not dissapointed. For $8, you get to sample five of their wines and get a solid array of vines to choose from. The menu has it laid out where you start with your whites, slowly moving into the reds, before ending with a dessert... if you choose to consume something sweeter. While I sipped a mix of everything, my favorites ended up being this passion fruit dessert wine. Okay, sue me. Aside from the tasting, you get to walk away from a complimentary wine glass. Pretty neat since it also has their logo branded onto your cup. You can also check out the other parts of the brewery including some knick knacks and animal print flasks. If you're in the mood for a bit of wine, then I'd definitely recommend this spot. read more

We stopped here last on our Michigan wine tasting trail. I will be honest I didn't love the wines here but the tasting room is big, well decorated and the staff is nice. They also have buckets to pour your tasting in if you don't like it. They have crackers do you too during your tasting. They have some items to purchase throughout the tasting room as well. The area for tasting is pretty big as well. Good for groups. The tasting is $5 for 5 and you get to keep your stemless glass. read more

Honestly mayve been the most successful tasting room we've tried on our lil Michigan trip! This was probably our 8th winery in 4 days. Everything we had was drinkable and we brought home 6 bottles! The 2 ciders had fun sassy packaging and were just as crisp and easy to drink as you could ask for. Spent the weekend in St Joseph and Googled about nearby wineries. Traveling through Benton Harbor from St Joe didn't look too promising...Benton Harbor has some really run down areas. But come upon this winery and the land and grapes are beautiful! We parked at the end of the parking lot and could hear *blaring* music from the patio when we stepped out of our car. We were hoping it wasn't blasting like that inside for the tasting.... It wasn't. And the two young ladies that helped us with the tasting were welcoming and very friendly. Answered a couple of simple questions. We ended up picking their Beach Cottage white, rose and red to take home. All delicious! Covid alert: no one was wearing masks in the building; - not the staff nor any of the customers. We wore ours inside the building until we did the testing and then on the way out. read more

Out exploring the area and stumbled across this beauty, 12 Corners Vineyards. Hubby and I went in for a tasting. They give you a large menu to pick from ranging from sweet to dry plus crackers to clean the palate. It was such a fun way to pass the time! We did end up getting a bottle to take home plus a couple of their wine glasses, which have ended up being our staple wine glasses at home. Outside, the vineyards are right there and all you can see for what seems like miles. We walked through a couple of rows and saw my very first baby grape bunch (technical term!) .. Really enjoyed our visit; so glad we chose this one! read more

Gorgeous setting, wines ranging from ho-hum to hot-damn, fantastic staff and a fun store of goodies for wine lovers. We finally decided to become members on our last visit. It was a no-brainer since members get a plethora of free tastings, 20 off wine and member exclysibe events (plus one tasting runs $8 and an average bottle on the semi-sweet membership is just over $10 so it's a huge savings right out the gate). You can pick up at any of the three locations (Benton Harbor, South Haven and Grand Haven). We highly recommend the brut, gewertztraminer, traminette and all of the dry reds, particularly the cab sauv. read more

My friends had their wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! 12 Corners Vineyard handled everything very nicely and things were more lovely than I anticipated! The ceremony for my friends was among the grapes and such a pretty location. Before it started, we were a bit confused trying to figure out where to park. And once we did park where we thought we needed to,we didn't know where the heck to walk. It was a long trek in the grass to get to the ceremony area. Thankfully I don't wear heels but the ladies that did, theirs were digging into the grass. I think a bit better signage could help ease this slight bit of trouble. Aside from the slightly rocky start, I absolutely love the venue. The reception was outdoors but in an open air tent with just perfect weather for such an occassion. All staff was friendly and great about getting the bar stocked with boos for our lush group of friends. Surprisingly, they ran out of their own wine!!! But they had others locked and loaded to go. All in all, 12 Corners has tasty wine and is a great option for a wedding says this guest. read more

I eyeballed this place on one of my last trips to Southwest Michigan and had it on my list to visit. I paid my visit earlier this week. This is a newer winery, they have been there for about a year. The grounds are very pretty, especially this time of the year. The tasting room is very nice - large, clean, and they have a variety of things to purchase (I NEED to come back here and do a little shopping!) My sister and I did a tasting, I don't recall the girl who waited on us but she was very nice, friendly and didn't hover and let us enjoy our time there. Some wineries tend to hover and then pretty much ask for a sale, but that wasn't the case here at all. The tasting is 5 wines of your choice for $6 and you get to keep the glass. Also, you get to sample a piece of chocolate bark with your last sample and the chocolate is from the Vineyards Chocolate place in Coloma. We came in on a Monday so it wasn't busy at all, it was just us and a couple in there. The pours were very generous too, more than just a sip or two. I ended up purchasing their cranberry wine, which would be perfect for Thanksgiving! Their fruit wines do not have added juice like other wineries tend to do. I really enjoyed the wine and my time here. I definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area! read more

I had heard this winery was only a few years old, but I was mostly impressed by this place. Not only could I try sweet wines, but they also suggested tasting their cider they make as well. And since I am a cider FREAK, I HAD to try it and man I am glad I did! After I had chosen the 5 wines/cider I had wanted to try, we were able to sit in the backyard seating area while the bartender set up the tasting flight, which included some pieces of the chocolate bark they make. My fave was the Peach Wine, which tasted very light and peachy, but the sneaker hit was the BIG DADDY CIDER! This stuff was so good that I had to buy 2 bottles! It also was very light and refreshing! We stopped at this lovely tasting room on our way from South Bend to Holland. Don't pass this place up! Stopping there was one of the best decisions of my life. Trevor is a fun and informative server, and the tastings were very generous. We got a cute little souvenir glass, and he served delicious complementary sea salt dark chocolate with the ice wine--which came in its own special little glass. I will definitely return! read more

I cannot believe that I never got around to writing a review for 12 corners! Last year I randomly discovered Benton Harbor and it's abundance of wineries when I went up there for a camping trip. The camping was very underwhelming but the wineries were great! The first one I went to was 12 corners and honestly it is to this day my favorite. The wine is great but what really makes this place stand out is the attitude of the staff and the welcoming environment. I honestly put in an effort to stop there each time I am in that region. They have ample space for wine tastings and quite a variety of wines to try. While I have my favorites I like to stop by and taste a few new ones while also enjoying those old ones I know so well. I am hoping to explore a little more than just the tastings this summer, it looks like their facility is large and I know they even have the option of hosting weddings and other festivities. read more

We had a pretty pleasant experience here for a tasting on a Sunday afternoon. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed with a tour bus that had just stopped by but we got our pours pretty quickly nonetheless. I wish they would have provided more tasting notes on the samples but all in all this is an excellent value and a super convenient location. We entered the winery and were warmly greeted by Karl, who acted as our host and server. The venue and surroundings were gorgeous, the wine selection fabulous... but Karl puts it over the top. We took advantage of the 5 tastings for $6 deal, a bargain! Karl was professional, informative and fun. The tasting includes your choice of 5 wine samples, a stemless keepsake glass and a delicious dark chocolate from Vineyards Gourmet Chocolates (also reviewed). We tasted, we laughed, we relaxed, we left with great memories and several bottles of wine. We are already planning our return. read more

Second time here and unfortunately no improvement in service. The first time was crowded and thought the rushing of tastings was due to crowd. This second time, came with total of 4, about 45 minutes before closing and no more than 5 others there. The lady attending to us was not friendly, rushing our tasting, and supposedly we were to get a piece of chocolate at end of tasting, which we did not get. When asked about cheese or other snack, she pointed to a small refrig on other side of room. She didn't bother to at least verbally go over what they had to sell. Of all the places we went on our impromptu wine tour this was the best value for the money. 7.50 for 5 tastings, a glass and a piece of chocolate. They even had gluten free crackers if you ask for between tastings! The building and decor was very nice and smelled good too. (Weird? Idk) The wines were overall fine in my book.
