My family and I stopped here for food and drinks. I got the scotch ale and really enjoyed it. I tried the kolsch and liked that as well. The food from Kibby Cobb market next door was really good. There was only one person working so he was slammed but very nice. I would definitely return.

We stopped here on day trip to the area. Ironbark is a cool brewery located in a tiny strip plaza. We walked in, they had just opened, and we had the entire place to ourselves. We spent some time speaking with the beertender, who was extremely knowledgeable. We tasted several beers before making our final selection. I fell in love with their peanut butter beer. Normally, I do not drink the heavier stouts, but I couldn't pass this one up. We found a cozy little area to sit down and enjoy each others company. We did not order any food so I can't review their selections. If you happen to be in the area, Ironbark is the place to be. We will most certainly be back.

Great brew! Nice selection of IPAs, which we enjoy! Noticed several other varieties, as well. Kibby Kobb Market, a well known deli in area, has a menu there to deliver. BEST sandwiches and soups - goes well with the beer on tap. Cannot miss!

Beer tasted really good. Food was delicious, but they don't have their own kitchen, they get it for the deli next store - Kibby Cobb. Friendly bar tender.

Great Place! Husband and I stopped there while in Jackson visiting friends. Had their beer at a beer fest back in 2017 and it had such an impression, That I knew I had to make it there. It didn't disappoint. We ordered a flight. Each beer was great! But the Gone Nutz Peanut Butter Ale was the BEST. So delicious! Very similar tasting to The Mitten's Peanuts and Cracker Jack. Next favorite was Shortys Double IPA, very light and drinkable for a double. We sat at the bar and chatted with the brewer for a while, great guy. Excellent service, great beer, great place. Definitely will be back!

I scoured the web for the best sounding wrap I could find and finally set my sights on Grand River Brewery. I ordered a Santa Fe wrap to-go, got there before it was even ready and was home to eat it within 5 minutes. To my dismay they had left the spicy ranch off the wrap. It was dry and unpleasant and that was an unfortunate tell of what was to come. It was accompanied by an odd tasting pickle, which particularly hurt my heart because I am a woman who loves a good pickle. This next part was especially jarring because the ambiance of the restaurant really seemed like they would have good fries, I'm sure they would be good fresh, but the ones I found inside my to-go box were not that. Sad, hard, dry fries that tasted and felt like they had been sitting out for hours. Truly disappointing. In summary, twas certainly a mistake to treat myself to this TWENTY ONE dollar meal that didn't even include a drink...21 dollars for a horrible wrap, horrible fries and a weird pickle. For that price I was really expecting the best wrap I've ever had, I could not have been more let down. My Venmo is grace-shoemaker- if you're feeling sympathetic to my experience. Thanks for tuning into my blog.

In fact, after my visit, I think I actually appreciate its rough appearance. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was entering "the real deal" of craft; nothing fancy - just quality. In addition to his beers, he also makes his own spirits and the whiskey was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not a huge whiskey guy so I'm sure a "snobby" person may have a different opinion but it's most definitely worth a shot during your visit. The owner, who was working behind the bar, was extremely personable and seemed to make quick friends with every guest that came in. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his craft. I will be back and will make sure I bring others with me to experience this hidden gem.

It's a very inconspicuous location, squeezed in between two truck depots. The building looks--inside and out--like it could be someone's workshop. At least if someone hung cool original art on their workshop's walls and set up a pool table. When we stood in front of the bar looking at the draft menu, a couple sitting nearby offered to scooch down so we could get barstools. Friendly folks=good start. We tried samples of a black IPA and rye IPA. Both were good, but we went with the rye for a pint. Nice and hoppy with just a little sharpness, good body. Had a bit of a drive in front of us, so we got a crowler of the black to go. Interesting beer selection, with two strong Scottish ales and many IPA variants. Plus alcoholic fruit slushees if that's your thing. We're mulling a run to Jackson purposefully to sample more of their offerings.

They encourage you to bring in food which I like since that lets them focus on the beer. Bar tender was ready for me and served well.
