I got the house bowl w/chicken and y'all...so good. The pickled cucumber was sweet but not overbearing, the peanut sauce was also just right in texture and amount. You can definitely taste the fusion part. The bowl reminded me of green curry + sesame chicken. I'm loving these "make-your-own-bowl" kind of places. You pick a starch, protein, and veggies. I went with brown rice, bulgogi beef, and almost all the veggies (pickled cabbage/cucumbers/carrots, romaine lettuce, green beans. I topped it off with wonton chips, crushed peanuts, and cilantro. It was a decent sized bowl but surprisingly filling. I was only able to finish about 2/3 of it and it was all delicious. The beef was a bit thinner and less flavorful than I hoped. I was able to try the lemongrass chicken and of course, the cha siu pork. I love the idea of having three different proteins with very different flavors. We also ordered the cha siu buns and the tofu fries. I HIGHLY recommend both. I was expecting the cha siu buns to be the circular kind, but these were the sandwich kind for peking duck dishes. The buns were deep fried and stuffed with cha siu, cucumbers, carrots, and cilantro. Pretty smart idea to use ingredients that are also used in the bowls. I actually really enjoyed the fried aspect of the buns because it added an extra savoryness. The tofu fries were breaded lightly and fried perfectly like the buns were. read more

Very good no frills Korean food. I had the beef bulgogi-solid stick to the ribs meal with an explosion of flavors with pickled cucumbers, red onions and a while bunch of other yummy stuff! I also had the spicy wings.....just, no. They were fried wings with some seed heavy hot sauce slathered all over it. I had to scrape it off to stop picking seeds out of my teeth. Decided to order from here for takeout while out grocery shopping. Ordered a Chasu pork build your own bowl along with a Pineapple Surprise drink. The drink was really refreshing and the food was delicious! It was packed full of flavor, the bell peppers were nice and crisp, and the pork was tender. Dropped in here for a quick dinner before a movie recently, and I was impressed by what I found. Like a number of similar concepts, it's quick casual, order at the counter, they deliver it to you. Choose whether you want a wrap or a bowl, your starch, protein, veggies, sauce, etc. After perusing the menu, I selected a bowl with brown rice (requesting that they go easy on the quantity), then went with the signature Chasu pork, several veggie selections including a delicious kimchi (highly recommended) gochujang sauce (kind of a sweet and spicy sauce with ginger) and topped it off with a fried egg. Digging in with chopsticks, it was a very tasty bowl, and really brought the flavor. The egg had a slightly runny center (just like I like it), and the rice was properly sticky without being gummy. My dining partner chose the chasu bun appetizer as a small main course, and although I didn't sample them, she reported that they were delicious as well. This was a really nice meal, and at a good price for the area. I'll definitely be back to try some other items from their menu. read more

After winning an Instagram giveaway from Dallas foodie Tim vs Food, Jae wanted us to go. We honestly didn't know how we felt about the restaurant prior to going. As usual, I spent my time checking into my fellow yelpers reviews, visiting the website and drooling over photos but nothing stood out. Arriving, we opened the door and saw a special chalked on a board. The menu plastered on the wall. Lots of options for you to tailor your entree. We were also greeted and treated exceptionally well! Ordered the firecracker shrimp, special house wings, satay chicken bowl and bulgogi sushi burrito. The shrimp and wings were amazing! The shrimp is served with a sweet and sour sauce that was a little runny but very tasty. Decent sized too. The wings were too big. However, the flavor and double crunch was out of this world. I would come back for the appetizers alone. The bowl and sushi burrito were misses for us both. I'd prefer a bowl from Chipotle (and I hate Chipotle). The burrito has potential. The seaweed needs to go. It was rubbery and seemed like when I took a bite I was puncturing a layer of skin. I added fried egg and with the bulgogi and rice it was pretty tasty. The overall consistency and seaweed weren't enough to win me over. I'd also like to see a little more meat equally spread through the burrito. I can't tell you I'd drive back out to Plano for this restaurant but if you do go, try the wings :) read more

Great Asian fusion!! There's a variety of options for anyone, even if you're vegan there's something for you. I loved that they had the option for the wrap, it was so delicious! The prices are reasonable and there's different options to pick for your base, protein and vegetable toppings. I chose the wrap, and got the BBQ pork with Chasu sauce on the side. We'd driven by this location in the past after stopping by the Target and wanted to try it the next time we visited the Target based on Yelp reviews. My wife ordered the beef bulgogi bowl with lo mein and all vegetables. I ordered a chasu pork bowl with white rice, lettuce, corn, and chasu sauce. We were both very impressed with the food itself. Fresh, flavorful, variety of taste. As for the space, it wasn't too bad. Typical fast casual setup. As I ordered at the counter, it wasn't too organized in leading customers to what was and what was not included per section. I was asked if I wanted a hard broiled egg. I said sure. The egg was loaded into my bowl. I was told it would be an extra $1.25. I told them no. The server scooped it back up with a spoon and put it back with the rest if the eggs! Pretty sure that is not proper procedure... Other than that, we both enjoyed the food. Each serving was more than reasonable, and very filling, despite being on the more expensive end.
