Tom Yum Noodle Bowl

Very good Thai food! Papaya salad and tom yum soup were delicious and portions were big. Service was fast and they kept my glass full. Restaurant is clean and well put together. Only complaint is I had to listen to a biggoted racist jerk sitting next to me. I decided to take his picture in case anyone knows him. He is a horrible person with the things he was saying.

My friend recommended and overall it's good. Her Khoa Soi dish was great as was out bang bang shrimp. The fried rice lacked flavor but I feel I needed to pair with a curry.

Larb Gai with chicken and tom kha soup

When I worked closer, this was my go-to Thai restaurant. Food and service is great! Met with my friends and we ordered a variety of dishes. We ordered Thai tea, this mango tea refresher-like drink, pad woon sen, pad si iu, pad ki mao, yellow curry, larb gai, tom kha soup. There were no complaints and the portion size is pretty big. We all ended up take leftovers. Prices are decent for the portion size. Overall? Great experience. Great for small or large groups. Till then, let's eat!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon after a morning soccer and shopping. Went in between lunch and dinner so it wasn't busy and we were sat quickly. Service was quick and answered all our questions. The crab cream cheese rolls were fantastic, unique compared to others and definitely more crab than cream cheese but an excellent mixture. Egg rolls were definitely crispy! Everyone enjoyed their meals. My pad si-iw was really good and had that great sweet soy sauce flavor I was craving. I got a spice level 2 and it was perfect for me, not super spicy but enough to give it a little something extra. Overall the restaurant was very nice and had great calming colors on the wall. They were also playing some pretty awesome cover songs of 80s and 90s female pop stars. Thanks for a great girls lunch!

Massaman curry

We were excited to try some of the specials like the shrimp curry in coconut or duck curry but unfortunately they don't have those anymore. We ended up getting the papaya salad, massaman curry, and khao soi. It was pretty solid. The papaya salad tasted very fresh. The curry was flavorful but the beef was chewy and they do upcharge for it. The khao soi was a little disappointing. The noodles were overcooked, chicken was dry, and the red curry soup was more on the watery side and lacking flavor. The soup didn't really stick to the noodles so not as flavorful as I would've liked. Beautiful interior but I'll probably wait until they have some other specials that are appeal to me before returning.

Sticky Rice + Coconut Ice Cream

Just had the most perfect meal here. They have these beautiful green veggie dumplings which were actually packed with flavor and fun textures. One of their fall special dishes is a shrimp curry that's served inside a real coconut. Not only is the presentation amazing, but the flavors were out of this world! I love that the curry itself included large pieces of soft coconut meat in it. I mainly came here for dessert, but I'm so glad I decided to tried some of their savory dishes too. Now the dessert -- was heavenly. I ordered their blue coconut ice cream, but also a side of their sticky rice and when I tell you this was a dessert match made in heaven. I'm not kidding. The combination of the cold ice cream and warm rice, with coconut jelly and the crunchy toppings all blended together so well. I told myself I wasn't going to finish it all, but I didn't leave a crumb behind. I'm already planning to go back to try their other specialty dishes. Everything was so delicious and exceeded all my expectations!

Chicken and tofu pad Thai

One of my favorite Thai spots! Just something about the quality, portion, and flavor is amazing (I've only tried their Pad dishes). Service is fast and friendly and it does have a beachy vibe inside. Not a big place, but still worth trying out for a casual dinner! Once had an issue with an order though, but they handled it very well by remaking the dish, removing the cost from our tab, and offering free dessert.

My GO To place!! If you love Tai. Been coming here ever since we meet the owners. This place never disappoints. Be carful with the levels though if not experienced on your spice

PAD SI-IW

Amazing food, clean restaurant, friendly staff, good portions! Every time I come here it doesn't disappoint!

Ordered pad Thai with Shrimp, combination fried rice and tamarind shrimp for pickup Combination fried rice was good ($5 extra to make it combination but not worth it to convert to combination from golden chicken fried rice), asked for spice level of 3/5 but it was definitely made like a 4/5 Pad Thai was ok (not better than the usual Thai restaurant flavor, however there were only 2 shrimp ($3 extra and it looked like they substituted with tofu, wtf) Haven't tried the tamarind shrimp yet. All the dishes left a lot to be desired in terms of portion size, especially the $20 tamarind shrimp that is sized like a lunch portion but at dinner price. This has been a phenomenon post covid when most Thai and some asian restaurants hiked their prices and went down considerably on the portion size. $60 plus tip maybe ok in the Plano/frisco area but at least give me my money's worth Downgrading to 2 stars after we tried the tamarind shrimp. From the pic it's obvious how tiny the portion size was, half of which is a weird blue rice and of the other half, there's just thin top layer of shrimp below which is wait for it.... Broccoli!!! They should name it tamarind broccoli, what a joke! It tasted sweet and not like tamarind

Good Thai food in Plano, the calamari is a favorite and kind of unique: comes in long strands instead of rings

I was in town with come coworkers - and in need of a quick lunch close to the office. Based on a…read morequick Yelp search that was sorted by rating, ZAAP came up near the top. After browsing the food pics, I knew some decisions would have to be made. We all ordered different things. I LOVED everything that I had. The food was full of flavor - it was hot since it was made to order -- and it tasted so good l, I kept eating after I was full. It was worth the extra treadmill time! The staff were very friendly and open to giving suggestions. And the food came out pretty quick which is great when the quality is that high. The place is in a strip center and is small. I consider it a gem! Will definitely be back!

I wanted something different for dinner and stumbled upon Zaap Kitchen during my search, it looked…read morepromising so I decided to check it out. I ordered the chicken pad thai (spicy) and the Zaap combo set opting for the Zaap crispy wings with sticky rice. Located off the toll , Zaap is small inside so when it gets busy seems to be a more grab and go spot. I ordered online which was seamless and upon my arrival my food was ready and I was on my way. Everything looked good and was well packaged when I got home, I was genuinely excited to try. I made the perfect plate of pad thai, a couple wings, rice and papaya salad. The wing combo meal was my favorite. The wings were fresh, seasoned so well and I loved the garlic pieces/flakes on the wings, wished they added more honestly. The only critique is I wished the wings were actually crispy, they were kinda soft but I'd still get them again. Misses for me unfortunately was the chicken pad thai and papaya salad. I've never had pad thai before so I didn't really know what to expect but I didn't care for it overall. My biggest issue was the texture of the noodles and it was somewhat bland, the chili oil I got did help some but between the noodle texture, sparse chicken and it being lightly sauced, I wasn't a fan. Papaya salad again is new for me and just wasn't my thing, it was spiced to my specification but nothing about the flavor appealed to me sadly and I really wanted to enjoy it. I will say, portion sizes of everything was great, all my food was piping hot and customer service was good so I would come back for the wings and just try something else out.
