We started with the appetizer platter. Some were better than others, but the point of getting the platter was to see what we liked best. We shared a lamb with chickpea dinner and liked it very much. It came with rice and bread and 3 small portions of toppings. I also ordered the raita and a second kind of bread. One bread would have sufficed. We had a little of everything left over for lunch another day. We'll order from here again.

The eggplant is cooked down so the dish is creamy and rich; it was very flavorful and a spice level of 3 was perfect for me. It had some heat but didn't result in a burning mouth. The garlic naan was delicious and the basmati rice that came with the entree was perfectly cooked. The serving size was very generous and I enjoyed the leftovers for dinner the next night. I definitely want to try more items on their menu and see some takeout orders in my future. Service was good, and the atmosphere was quiet and perfect for catching up with a friend.

Spice levels are always a little tricky with Indian food. I did order a mild vegetable briyani dish for my toddler but it was too spicy for him but he did devour the garlic Naan. I ordered one of the lamb dishes "mild" and my friend one of the sizzling chicken dishes "spicy." We switched dishes as the spice levels seemed to have switched from what we requested. I called the restaurant and the person on the phone said "yeah there is a problem with the steamer, we will replace them". I asked why they would look at this burnt appetizer and still send it, because that feels super dishonest- they knew it was inedible but because it was a takeout order, they decided to serve it anyways. He couldn't answer that. They told me to bring the momos back and they'd replace them. I said no, I've just worked 13 hours and will not be driving another 20 minutes to go back to their restaurant. I'd like a refund. He said that's not possible and offered to give me a free meal next time we came in. I said there will not be a next time as their dishonesty was seriously off-putting and I'd like a refund and again he said that's not possible.
