Plain paratha, paneer paratha, chicken Tikka masala, and saag paneer. Plus good size portions of rice.

We tried this for the first time on Dec 27 and have already been back again not even two weeks later! I really wanted some takeout Indian food for my birthday and our favorite place to dine in was further than we wanted to drive so I started searching for restaurants closer to our home. There were a few but Punjabi Dhaba was super close and had some great reviews so we gave it a try. It's takeout only and a small hole-in-the-wall type place. They don't appear to have a website or online ordering but we found some photos of their handwritten menu and my husband drove down to place an order. He got some recommendations from the owner and some patrons while he was there and we ended up with two types of parathas, chicken Tikka masala, and paneer masala. He did have a decent wait, but oh was it worth it! Everything was amazing and since it was so close, it was still hot when he got back home. Last night we had no groceries and decided to order again. This time we called ahead and got parathas and Tikka masala again, plus we tried saag paneer, which my husband sampled during his wait last time. Our food was ready in the expected amount of time, checkout was quick, and the employee I met was friendly. Our meal turned out great again (and I remembered to take a photo this time) and we had enough for some leftovers. This might be our new fave for any takeout in the Franklin township area and we highly recommend!

Hopped in en route to Chicago from Bowling Green. The paneer pakora was very good and fresh. Samosa was also good. Parathas (gobi and paneer) were good and it comes with yogurt. Chapati was soft and fresh, needed some more salt. Mango lassi was not that good. Masala chai was not good but seems they give it free to every customer. Shahi paneer was average, does come with rice which is nice. Customer service is exceptionally good. Overall not a bad one, would go here for the parathas for sure.

This place might not have the ambiance but it definitely has the TASTE. Oh so delicious and authentic taste. Had such good stuffed parantha after a very long time. Worth what we paid for. Prices are very reasonable for everything and quantity and quality are on point. Ran by husband and wife only so be patient with them (they don't take long btw unless packed busy of course). No seating inside, just couple picnic tables outside. So carryout only. Definitely coming back to hog more on some delicious food.

I pretty regularly order take out from here, and it is consistently delicious. Make sure to call it in before you go, because they make everything to order; it's usually ready really quickly though. I've tried quite a few of the vegetarian meals from here, and I'll say I don't think you can go wrong. But, every time I go, I'll always order Malai Kofta, because it is my favorite. Also in this picture are the Aloo Mutter and a Paneer Paratha (very much recommend both!). Both in the picture are the 16oz, which is the smaller size. Lastly, love the Chai. Would recommend to anyone to get takeout from here!!

Yum! I decided to give this a try and I'm so happy that I did. I ordered the chicken tikka marsala and the saag paneer. Both were good. The owner gave me a sample of their tea and I'm definitely coming back when I need something warm and comforting. If you've been hesitant to try them, please reconsider.

    Samosa chaat

Good evening. I had the most delicious food ever since being in Delhi. It is authentic, delicious, extremely flavorful! The owner and his wife worked together and everything was made to order. We had a delicious samosa chat (perfectly cooked chickpeas, delicious samosas, all the spices, chutney etc.), we had complimentary chai while we ate on the outside bench area. We also ordered potato-spinach (aalo-palak), black lintels (Dal Makhni), butter chicken and Indian flat bread (rotis) - it all had a taste of home! Absolutely delicious and authentic food. We can't wait to go back!

The food was just ok for the Indian palate, but it was too expensive for what you get.

Authentic stuffed paratha I ever had in USA. Very few people in USA (definitely all the North Indians) will be able to relate to the taste.

This place feels warm and welcoming upon entrance. They have ample seating and separate space for parties/larger group. (Ample private parking space btw) We were greeted and seated right away. With a hangry kid with us we requested to get mango lassi right away. But in handle full of minutes remaining order was placed too - Chole Bhature, Aloo Tikki Chat, Butter Naan and Malai Kofta. And then the long wait started. We got our lassi after about 10-12 minutes wait and CB and ATC in about another 25-30 minutes. So far after trying multiple restaurants in multiple cities, 5 star has better Chole taste than others. Bhature was average, we have had better Bhature. Aloo tikki chat tasted better once the hot tikki cooled down a little. Lassi had perfect sweetness but bit watered down than a bit of chunky consistency of lassi. The hostess did check on us in between and apologized about wait due to busy hour. We had easily waited good 30 minutes after finishing our appetizers. But! Finally the food arrived. And it was delicious for sure. Perfectly cooked naan, savory but little sweet kofta entree. The only thing lacking was we had ordered mild spice level but this was definitely a medium. Informed our hostess of this to get a response of well the Indian spices can be spruced down only so much. Agreed but not agreed! Women restroom was clean but out of paper towels, (no air dryer) stayed so till I was there. All in all, great food but too long and gaped of a wait for each item to arrive, okay-ish service. I am willing to give this place one more try and hopefully on a less busier hour before I set my review in stone for this restaurant.

I really wanted to try something mixed, but the worker said it was mostly either or. I really thought there would be more fusion options, but on the menu - the left side was Indian dishes and the right side was Mexican dishes. We did order a chicken tikka taco (sort of Indian/mexican infused) and then decided on butter chicken in medium. For the taco, you can get corn or flour tortilla and we forgot to specify, but thankfully it came out on corn. The butter chicken came with rice and naan (I forgot to ask if I could make it garlic naan) so it comes with regular. For a drink, I got the mango lassi which is like a mango smoothie with yogurt and milk, and he got a mango jarrrito. Our meal came up to about $30, and we decided to dine in. I got my mango lassi very quickly, it was really smooth and creamy texture, very milky mango tasting. I liked it, but my husband didn't care for it. The jarrito has a bottle cap, and on the wall, there is a bottle opener. I didn't even notice it but my husband did, it's unique and convenient. It took about 15ish mins or so to get our food, we like that it's made fresh and was brought to our table. He gave us extra plates as we were sharing our order. The tikka taco was bland, didn't really have much flavor. He gave us two sauces, one green and one red (he said the red is spicy) and even with that it was just ok. It was however very filled. The regular naan was good, especially when I dipped it in the butter chicken sauce. As for the butter chicken, it was decent. We got it in medium spice and it wasn't very spicy to me. The rice paired well with the butter chicken. The food was enough for both of us to share and be full, plus we had leftovers. The inside was quiet, it wasn't busy when we came. They have tables and booths for dining in. They also offer drive thru service. The inside appeared clean. They have 2 restrooms towards the back of the restaurant, one for men and one for women. The women's restroom didn't have any toilet paper.
