I've been to all 30 current stadiums. And five "dead" stadiums. This is by far one of the worst. Their bar options suck, and are expensive (I am from NYC. I know from pricey). Their staff has no clue how to help ANYBODY. And in an area that's kinda sketch, they do not have clear signage for ride shares. This is standard practice at 99% of major league ballparks btw. Have working elevators and staff who know what's what. And for fox sake, get in the 21st century with signage already. read more

One thing the Diamondbacks have never got right is a ballpark hotdog. You always steam them and never put the dog on the bun until you sell it. The one I had last night was terrible! I've now experienced Chase Field twice. The first time at the Elton John concert and the most recent in June when the Atlanta Braves played the AZ Diamondbacks. Both times we drove and parked at a garage nearby. Though both experiences were overall enjoyable, getting into the Field during the Elton John concert was not pleasant. This may not be the Chase Field's fault, but they only had one entrance open, so you have a massive group of people trying to enter through one entrance. Needless to say, many people including myself, missed the opening act. Apart from that, the field is nice and well kept. The bathrooms are fairly clean. I particularly appreciate the wide range of food and beverage options available at Chase Field. I'm a pescatarian so I was grateful to find Gadzooks and other food stalls offering more than the typical hotdog, burger, and nachos. There's also a beverage stall and/or cart everywhere you turn, so you will never get thirsty. Looking forward to attending more baseball games in the future! read more

There was a lot of planning, organizing and set up to convert this baseball field into a concert venue. The stadium seating was the same, but they added the Floor seating for thousands of more fans to attend the Pink concert. The normal capacity is 48,000 seats. It has an amazing retractable ceiling, very clean with plenty of food and drink vendors. Crowd Control & Parking needs improvement with proper signage. It would have prevented us from waiting in the wrong line. We had digital tickets, but did NOT know a wristband was also needed for Floor seating, which was a completely separate line! We live in California and do not know the area. The parking was "pre-paid" and long lines due to a lack of traffic control police to guide and let cars and pedestrians move without the gridlock we experienced. Many had to turn around in the massive crowd because they did not have a pre-paid parking pass. Another glitch was the Bag Policy, the website listed the measurements allowed. However upon arrival, the dimensions were different than what was published. They had a banner describing the bag policy, but it was not the same data on the website. Beside these issues, we finally got in and had a fabulous time. Now that I am familiar with the rules, I most definitely would return and recommend this venue. I was here for Opening Day 2024. Really glad the roof was open. My seat was section 118 near home plate area and had good sight lines. My row 38 was back under the overhang and would provide ample protection from the sun during a day game with the open roof but entirely unnecessary for night games. With the extra concessions stands like many teams have added the concourse was fairly crowded and created bottlenecks restricting crowd flow that was not accounted for in the initial design. I get the desire to reduce wait times for concessions but cramming a stand in every available space made it hard to not only move through the concourse but at times being able to get back to seats because lines backed up across multiple sections. Other than the pool in right field and a few decorations from all-star games and world baseball classic, there was nothing special. The history museum area was closed for a special event so not sure what was in there. No statues or anything around the stadium outside the gates that I could find. The Sonoran Dog was very tasty but extremely messy and I miscalculated the amount of napkins needed. The Churro Dog was also really good and messy, plenty of napkins this time. It wasn't super easy to eat with the spoon and could not pick it up and eat like a hot dog. Wow it's been years since I've been to a dbacks game! We arrived an hour before the game started which helped with finding parking. Our friends who got their late had a miserable time locating a parking spot. We paid $20 for parking nearby like a block away. Lines are insane to get drinks and food. We waited 20 mins in line and missed the national anthem. We paid $45 for a beer and 2 hotdogs. Bathrooms are very clean and during the first couple of innings the lines are small to none at all. Don't go right after the game because lines are long. read more

Tis a remarkably photogenic ballpark (within the confines) with fantastic sightlines, an above average array of food vendors & a good amount of sports bars (noticed one with outdoor misters for the heat) & restaurants within walking distance. It's located in downtown Phoenix and the estimated ideal times to go (as an outtatowner) would be April-May/late August-Sept due to blazing hot desert temps. the night time contests are pleasurable enough to walk around in light clothing & hunt for ice cream or shave ice. I'm not sure how gung ho the fans can get since it was my first time but there seemed to be an extra intensity with the Dodgers in town minus the hooliganism. I made the mistake of parking in a towering multi level garage & will remember to forego the vehicle next time out because the downtown traffic can be a bit of a nightmare. read more

Go visit Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. I can't believe both the Chargers and Padres played there. Anyways back to Chase field. I thought the amenities were great. I was surprised with tickets for the D Backs game against L.A. we live in East Mesa and are fortunate enough to be able to drop off our car at the park and ride to catch the light rail right to the front door of Chase Field it saves $20 to park not to mention a DUI. I've never been to this stadium before and was amazed by how well organized the staff is here. Everyone is super friendly, prices are fair and let me tip my hat to all the men and women who clean the restrooms everything was super clean. We had right field seats and it was great to see so many Angelino's in town for the big game. The boys of Summer are Back I had perfect seats near the opposing teams (Dodgers) dugout yay!!! I've heard tickets are reasonable during the season, and yes they are! I really like this stadium, the acoustics, PA , seats and so many different choices for getting your baseball favorites all found throughout. Bathrooms were perfectly clean. I also thing parking did the stadium was the easiest to find as well as being inexpensive, I thought I was going to pay a lot more then the $15 dollars I paid directly across Chase field. All in all. We surprised our 16yr old son with a Chase Field Tour on his birthday before the game. What a treat! We were taken into the dugout, the press room, the executive suite areas, and pretty much toured the entire stadium while it was empty! Our tour guide Kevin was personable, funny, kind and engaging and really made sure we all had a great experience. I am now inclined to take a tour at any new ballfield we visit, as it really helped orient us to the field before the game as well as educated us on the history of the ball club. My wife, two teenage sons (17 yrs., 15 yrs.), and I came here on a Saturday evening in April 2023 to watch the Dodgers vs. the Diamondbacks. First, the weather was delightful with the retractable roof fully open (80s F during the day which dipped into the low 70s F after sunset). Second, it's a relatively new ballpark with clean bathroom facilities and a very convenient downtown location (just across from the Convention Center). I don't know why some MLB fans think Chase Field is a horrible ballpark. In my opinion, that award might go to Tropicana Field (a ghastly indoor facility that looks like an old circus tent and creates annoying echoes). In my opinion, the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team deserves a better venue! The only blemish from our visit to Chase Field was parking in a garage that was 4-5 blocks away (west of the Convention Center). However, we did not prepay for a spot, which might save you some time. I think there's a public garage much closer to the ballpark (1 block away), but you may get stuck in traffic when exiting the field. Overall, I would recommend a visit to Chase Field! read more

We are a party of three and bought 5 nights of baseball tickets during the world baseball season. It was so hot and stuffy with the roof closed and very dim. Why don't they open the roof in mid March? The best game was a sell out of 48,000 people! It was Mexico and USA . Mexico killed it against us! I was so happy for them even though we got killed . The people were sooooo happy to beat USA and so nice and apologetic to us because we were wearing dodger outfits. The energy and joy was overwhelmingly a great experience. The game gets 5 stars and the stadium gets the 3 stars due to the stuffiness and dim lighting. read more

This was our first baseball game at the stadium in over 5 years so we felt as newbies being back. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the quality of food. I was looking forward to the footlong corn dogs and they apparently don't sell them. So we ordered their Diamond dogs and that was disappointing. For $7 you get a skinny hotdog in a bun. Sorry but I could get a better tasting dog at QT. The only plus was now you can order through the app and go pick up. You get condiment packets. We enjoy the stadium itself. So much more parking around between $15-$20 but it's better than what it was 10+ years ago. Of course the train goes right by it if which is another convenience if you can take advantage. Staff at the gates are friendly but in some concession stands not so much. Now the 3 stars are for the park but not the food. Your standard ballpark food is not good at all. The regular Nachos, hot dogs & corn dogs that you get from Doubleheaders (not from specialty booths) taste how they look. The donut sundae (churro dog) was ok maybe because the donut was brought in from somewhere else. You might want to eat before you get to the field and enjoy the game. read more

Okay everyone! I went on a mini vacation and drove to Chase Field to watch Major League Baseball. As I was there, I wanted to know all about the hype of the Churro Dog...So, I bought one. This diabetes Churro Dog is nothing special! It is totally hyped up by influencers and the price tag of $15.00 for this food item makes it even worse! Everything at Chase Field is inflated! A bottle of water will run you at $7.50. Chase field is a interesting field that could open and close their dome depending on the time and weather. My review is mainly focused on the food as the stadium was nice. I got the Millionaire steak sandwich along with the famous churro dog. I was quite disappointed in the steak sandwich as it was cold and the steak was very rough. It is sad because I was there about 15 minutes after the stadium opened, so it was not as if we got there 2 hours into the game. The churro dog is what got my attention. A chocolate long john donut cut in half with a churro in the middle, topped with soft serve and whipped cream!? It is truly a child's dream. I wish the churro was actually hot. I know it would melt the ice cream, but that is what the donut is there for! The main store is huge and busy but their logistics and employees keep the line rolling! read more

Chaos! I attended the World Baseball Classic over the weekend, and while Chase Field is beautiful, it's pure chaos to get in. The lines were ridiculous, with no order. People cutting in line in every direction. The stadium was filthy, probably because they didn't have time to clean in between games. BEWARE!!!! There air conditioner is broken! It is unbearably hot in the stadium. Many people are getting sick from the heat including myself i suffered from heat exhaustion. There is no signs or warnings of the lack of AC. In arizona heat i don't know why they are able to operate. Complete negligence. Food is priced below other ball parks that I have been to recently. I mean $3 for a hot do is nice. The 200 level concessions are a bit pricey but those are on the suite level so maybe that is why. I had an incredible time visiting Chase Field. The people and community were so friendly. I was in town for 24 hours just to visit the stadium and check out a DBacks game. Not one of the greatest ballparks. As someone who has visited many of the MLB stadiums and has plans to hit all 30 active parks, Chase field ranks in the bottom 1/3rd of all parks. The creative and unique food options are very limited. The fan experience outside of the game is pretty much nonexistent, and the ease of access is lacking. I have sat in all 3 levels. (Feild, Club, and value) and while the cost of value is very good, the food options are on the first level, which means you have to walk up and down three flights of smelly concourse stairs to get something other than a hotdog. Club level has great options and views and there really is no reason to leave, but is pricy, Field level is the best experience, but again likely will price out many fans, especially if you are bringing a family. The facility itself is air conditioned, but not very comfortable. Some upgrades that are seen at other MLB Ballparks would be welcome here to complete the fan experience. read more
