Amazing experience! Went for first time for our anniversary and our waiter, Aaron treated us like royalty! Such a pleasant staff over all and the atmosphere was perfect. the food was great! Chilean Sea Bass served over lobster risotto is a must have! Croissant banana pudding is like heaven. You should try this place. It does not disappoint! read more

Great food and experience. Aaron was a great waiter. Took our Anniversary experience to another level

Was a great experience overall. The ambience was warm and inviting with a spacious dining room and beautiful high ceilings that made the restaurant feel both lively and comfortable. They also had a great DJ playing modern, upbeat music that really enhanced the atmosphere without overpowering conversation. The ribeye was absolutely the star of the show - it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and worth ordering. The lobster mac & cheese was also good. If you enjoy a more traditional, roux-based mac & cheese, this one definitely delivers. The dirty vodka martini was fantastic and well made. The only disappointment was the espresso martini. It was prepared using a canned espresso product, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it would have been nice if that had been mentioned beforehand. I prefer a frothy espresso martini which can only be obtained by using fresh brewed espresso. All in all service was outstanding. Our waiter, Brady, was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided great recommendations throughout the meal. read more

I recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Chart House, and it was a wonderful experience overall. We had a party of eight, and our server, Jake, was phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, answered everyone's questions with patience, and was especially helpful navigating dietary restrictions. One of my favorite parts of the evening was the beverage cart, it made dinner feel like a show! We ordered the mojito flight, and every flavor was refreshing and delicious. For appetizers, I had the crab stack with mango and avocado, which was fresh, light, and full of flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the Eye of the Ribeye with the Pave Parmesan potatoes. Everything was cooked well, though I did think some of the dishes throughout the table could have used a little more seasoning. Once we added a bit of salt, though, the flavors really came to life. The highlight of the meal was dessert. The seasonal crème brûlée was absolutely to die for, and the blood orange flavor was easily my favorite part of the entire dinner. Between the attentive service, fun drink presentation, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food, this was a great place to celebrate a special occasion. I'll definitely be back! read more

From the moment we arrived, the service was top-tier. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our entire visit. The food was equally impressive; the Kim Chee Calamari, Prime Rib Hash & Eggs, Cornmeal Buttermilk Johnny Cakes, and the Wagyu Bacon Burger were all absolutely delicious. It is clear they prioritize quality and attention to detail, as every dish was cooked perfectly. Between the exceptional food, hospitality, and the incredible view of the water, it was a fantastic experience. read more

We dropped in for Happy Hour (fyi you must sit in the bar area!) about 15 min before it ended, but we were still able to get our order in. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I LOVED the caviar potatoes & mini crab cakes. They came out so fast and were fresh. The margarita was also one of my favorite ones I've had. Unfortunately sitting at the bar meant our server was making drinks for the entire restaurant, so getting our check took longer than even getting our food. It was pretty loud inside the restaurant, partially due to music but also just sitting at the bar comes with its own noise of the hustle and bustle. I'd love to go back and sit somewhere with a view of the water/boats. read more

We came here to celebrate a birthday and the restaurant was even more beautiful in person! It was the week after the snow storm, so the streets around the restaurant and parking was difficult to get to. The boats sitting on the water were even frozen. Despite the freezing weather, the restaurant was still pretty filled and had a great vibe. When we got to our table the waiter checked my coat and gave me a ticket, to get it later. Our table was seated right next to a beautiful fire pit, which gave an amazing warm temperature. The views across the water were breath taking, through the tall glass windows. There were high ceilings and many details throughout the restaurant that were stunning! Started dinner with the Oysters, followed by the Shellfish Linguine with sautéed mushrooms as an entree. I got the Roasted Lamb Chops which came with the tri-color carrots, and parsnip purée. It all tasted great, however there wasn't enough for leftovers. The waiter brought out a tasty piece of red velvet cake that said "Happy Birthday," which was much appreciated. Service was attentive and kind from all of the staff. read more

Came to Chart House Prime expecting prime... Yelp really needs to add a 3.75 star option . This place was better than 3.5 stars but wasn't quite a full 4 for me. We started with the crab dip and that was good! The valentine couple's surf & turf special, shareable ribeye and tomahawk were all sold out! This was very disappointing. The entree - we ordered the prime rib and eye of the ribeye. Both were cooked great. The creamed spinach was flavorful and creamy. The truffle fries? No complaints, crispy and tasty. Now let's talk about the lobster risotto... because what happened there? Risotto is supposed to be creamy, rich, and comforting. This was dry, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp and lobster was dried out. Service was excellent and ambiance is luxury rustic. Overall, some items were good, but that lobster risotto was a major letdown, especially for the price point. I would revisit but will stay away from the lobster risotto. read more

Had the pleasure of dining here on my birthday. It's weird, because I haven't been to Annapolis to eat in like forever... lately it's been Baltimore, Columbia... but Annapolis wasnt on my radar. The person who took me out lives in Eastern Shore so this was our middle ground. At first glance you'll think the parking situation is horrible, but they actually have a parking lot next to the restaurant. When you walk in you see the semi open Kitchen concept and the nice bar. In the dining room they have it situated where you have a nice view from almost every point. They have a great cocktail menu and offer a service where they make drinks table side. I tried the Old Fashioned.. it had a truffle in it . For appetizers I had the Crispy Escargot and my friend had the Ahi Poke, that was a pretty large portion that can be shared or even eaten as an entree. For the mains, my friend had the Seabass, and I had the Shellfish Linguine. The Linguine was good, the server removed my plate before I was done so I didn't finish. And for dessert BIRTHDAY CAKE! I feel like this is the perfect date night spot or Holiday Office party place. read more

Chart House Prime is the perfect place to dine with a fantastic view of the water. Our food was decent. I had the create your omelette with hash browns, fruit, and a side of turkey bacon. My wife enjoyed the smash burger with shoestring cut fries. We also decor have the crab soup and Caesar salad. We washed our food down with a few mimosas. We received the best service ever from our waiter Terry. He was enthusiastic and personable. We had an absolutely incredible experience at Chart House Annapolis, all thanks to our server, Alex! She handled our party of 17 all by herself and never missed a beat. Honestly, it felt like we had two or three servers dedicated to our table because she was so attentive, fast, and organized. Managing a large group is tough, but Alex made it look easy. Exceptional service, she deserves a huge shoutout! read more

I have been here twice & will say, the food was excellent. But the service was not great. Once with friends, we waited quite a bit to be served and just recently with our daughter for her 18th birthday. She wanted crab legs. They were impressive, but came with no utensils to open them. The food was brought out by different staff & had to wait for the waiter, who did not come back to check on us. I had to get his attention and finally received the cracker & small fork so she could enjoy her dinner. The place is beautiful & the food great, but when you have to wait & food gets cold, paying a premium price, I'll have to think again about going. read more

Not bad but also not great. The location is absolutely lovely; you can watch boats leave the dock and the sunset on the water. However, the food was a hit or a miss. The calamari was the favorite of the night, with a subtle yet enticing heat and tang. The fish was well cooked but lacked flavor. Service was ok, but at times it was a bit slower (seemed like they were training people). read more

I never got to dine here and never ever would want to in the future. Evelyn and her manager on 2/21/26 treated me and my guest terribly. We had a reservation time that they would not honor. WE WERE WITHIN THE GRACE PERIOD. The manager was extremely rude and condescending. Evelyn took no accountability at all, they did not try to accommodate in any fashion. It was my 50th birthday dinner and with my long sequin gown and crown it was apparent. Evelyn and the manager completely ruined my Birthday experience. I dined at my favorite place and left them a stellar review as I do for good service and atmosphere. I hope this establishment would realize how one experience can impact your business overall. Choose wisely when deciding where to spend your money & time. read more

Do not bother booking a reservation with this place. Your reservation means absolutely nothing here. You will have walk ins seated before you then when you ask if you might have accidentally been skipped you're met with attitude from one of the hostesses. If you're not going to honor a reservation remove yourself from the open table website. It's embarrassing for an upscale restaurant to be run this way. read more

Expectations were not met. Nice table on the water. Waitress started by saying it had a been a long day and she was not at her best. Ok. We have all had bad days. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks. She forgot our drink order three times, only 3 of us at dinner. App took a while. Had to ask the food runner for bread. Refills were slow. The center cup ribeye was cooked properly but had no real flavor. $75 price point is not worth it. Pave potatoes were good. Everyone else enjoyed their steak. When you want to have an upscale meal and spend a significant amount of money you just expect a little more. read more

So the atmosphere was very nice very intimate which I assume is what they were going for. The service was great the server was friendly accommodating and personable. I got the wok friend fish and it was good. I do wish the fish had maybe a sweet and sour sauce to go on it or maybe fajitas vegetables to make it pop. But as is the fish was still good. The vegetables were fresh, crisp, and seasoned well. The sticky rice was just sticky rice. We also got the seafood tower which great the poke tuna was fresh and melted in your mouth good. All and all a great meal with a great view of the water. If you have a date and want to impress them or want an intimate restaurant to celebrate an anniversary or valentine's day this is a good spot. read more

If not for 1 thing, I would easily rate this a 5. The food was fantastic, our waiter, Aiden, was wonderful, and the views are stunning. I absolutely love this place for happy hour, meeting friends, special occasions and date night. The ambiance on the water is alluring. I will say everytime I come here, I must get the grilled and chilled shrimp, my favorite Most recently I visited for my birthday. The service is always top tier. We of course had the grilled and chilled shrimp, the lamb chops and the whole bronzino. Everything was absolutely delicious. I will say in the fall/winter on the water sitting close to the windows can be quite brisk. I definitely recommend a reservation as this place is pretty popular. Parking is free, but can be difficult at times. read more

Service: we sat at the bar but OMG, the bartenders were amazing. Very kind and patient even towards the end of the evening. Food: we had the seafood tower and edamame. Both delicious Ambiance: well this was on the marina so it was pretty fancy. Interior was very clean and sophisticated. Absolutely had an a blast trying the specially choreographed cocktails. It was probably one of the best I've had in the DMV and I've had my far share of drinks in DC and VA. Annapolis you did not disappoint a first time visitor. read more

Came here to celebrate a family member's birthday and left really impressed. We did have a short wait despite having a reservation, but everything after that was great. We were seated by the window with a beautiful view of the water, which made the experience even better. The caesar salads were a favorite at our table, and I loved that they acknowledged the birthday with a champagne toast, a card, and cake. Those little details made a big difference. read more

Service was excellent but food hit or miss, especially for the price. Avoid the desserts at all costs - our cake was burnt and a very small portion for a large price - they don't have a pastry chef. Prime Rib was tough - tasted like meat had been frozen. Sea bass was also not from fresh. The only good things on the menu were anything made from crab - the crab cakes, the crab tower. read more

Hi guys. TLDR: Avoid this place. More details to come. We were sat down and waited a long time for our food.. around 30ish mins to get bread.. yes, I said bread. Our food took longer. While we were waiting on our food, the flame on our "fireplace?" went out..it started blowing cold air, it was Valentine's day this year so we're talking like the 27 degree air outside..not cool (well..I guess overly cool..get it? ahah.. anyways) The manager told us he'd start it up again..spoiler, that never happened. It was cold the whole meal. Moving on, our meal did arrive. I had Lobster, Steak, and mashed potatoes, they were good. My wife got the Risotto, and scallops..they were solidly okay. B+ on the food because of risotto and lobster..the steak was really good though. I highly reccomend it if you ignore this review and go anyways. The Ambiance was pretty loud..and I can't stress this enough, it was COLD. I just wanted to be reseated at one of the empty tables around me with a flame or farther away from windows or doors, but this was too big an ask apparently..I honestly think this place was okay..but not $220 okay. I would probably not even be writing this review if it was just $200 or so. I don't really write these reviews often but I go to places like this pretty regularly so I really hope you take this seriously and AVOID this place and not feel robbed like I did. Cheers Yelp family add: I wish I read the Yelp reviews before I came to this place ugh. lol read more

I came here with a small party, and it was lovely. The views, the restaurant, the food, and staff were great. The oysters were especially lovely, and we had a few of the sushi rolls. I went when it was late, but would love to come earlier in the day to enjoy more views of the water. read more

Such a traditional and beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion. It's right on the water and easily accessible by water taxi. What a fun and decadent experience. Scott was an awesome server! Very attentive. Our food was delicious and a great value for what we ordered.

We just finished dinner and had a mixed experience. I started with happy hour, which was great. However, the steak was overcooked by far. The manager claimed it was "slightly" overcooked, but that was a lie. He then offered us dessert, which was so bad that I wouldn't feed it to a wild animal. I'll insert a picture below. If you want to compensate me, please offer a drink or the bone marrow butter instead of insulting me with this terrible dessert. Needless to say, we left extremely disappointed. read more

We visited Chart House Prime in Annapolis to celebrate a birthday, and it was my second time dining there. My first visit was for happy hour with my boyfriend--though good luck catching it, because people literally line up for it. Knowing that, we opted for dinner this time, and it was absolutely the right choice. We had a wonderful evening and another great experience at CHP. The nautical‑rustic ambiance paired with the beautiful waterfront views made it feel special, and our server was excellent. The entire staff delivered great customer service. read more

We arrived at approximately 8:15 PM for a birthday celebration and were immediately met by the manager on duty, who did not introduce himself and was discourteous throughout the interaction. Rather than welcoming us, he immediately informed us that some members of our party were not in compliance with the dress code due to wearing joggers and shorts. Although we understood the restaurant's dress code policy, our family members made an effort to comply by returning to their vehicle to change clothes. Despite their attempt to address the concern, the manager still refused to accommodate them. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of professionalism and hospitality shown during the situation. At no point did he offer alternatives, such as allowing the affected guests to sit in the bar area, where we later learned the dress code requirements were different. The situation became even more uncomfortable when another Black couple entered the restaurant and the manager accused them of smelling like marijuana. He appeared to associate them with our party, despite them having no connection to us whatsoever. Later, he acknowledged that they were not part of our group and specifically stated that our party did not smell like marijuana, but the other couple did. Regardless, the fact that this assumption was made and communicated in front of us was inappropriate, embarrassing, and unprofessional. As a result of the entire experience, we chose to leave the restaurant. What should have been a special birthday celebration for my sister-in-law turned into an embarrassing and upsetting experience for our family. I felt disrespected, singled out, and disappointed by the manner in which we were treated. I understand that restaurants have policies and standards that must be enforced. However, those policies should be communicated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. read more

We arrived 10 minutes early for our 6:45pm reservation. Felt odd that they had us wait until 6:45 passed to get seated. Oh well. After a brief 10 minute wait we were seated at a table adjacent to the open fire pit. It was definitely warm. I used the large wine menu to deflect the heat from me. Our waitress Alex was superb. She was on top of every detail and didn't miss a beat. We didn't need to remind her of anything. Onto the food. I had the 10pz filet and creamed spinach. Both were very good. Wifee had the Lobstertail and rated it 9 out of 10. She said although it was slightly overcooked it was very flavorful. Mixed veggies were phenomenal and perfectly seasoned. And again, did I say Alex was superb?! Top notch restaurant in Annapolis IMHO. read more
