It's hard for me to write this because I genuinely love Charming Fig. The vibe is wonderful, the staff are so sweet, and it's a real gem in the Livermore community. ​Unfortunately, my visit with a friend wasn't the best. I ordered a cold brew with milk and caramel syrup, but I was surprised to find that the "syrup" was actually unmixed chunks of caramel sauce. It made it difficult to enjoy the drink. ​We also wanted to try the olive oil cake. When it was brought to the table, it had a berry compote and whipped cream on top. While the compote itself was delicious, it would have been great if the staff had mentioned the toppings when we ordered. That way, we would have had the option to get them on the side, or opt out entirely. The cake itself was just okay; I've had olive oil cakes before, and this one didn't quite hit the mark. ​Despite this, I still love this place and the people who work here. I'm hoping my next visit is back to the high standard I know and love. read more

Since the fire, insurance should cover, why should the current or new customer foot the bill, prices were high, now higher. A 21$ salad w/o protein (chicken 4 added)?? This is Livermore NOT The City, nor Berk nor Santana Row, has great food prior to fore but was actually above and now too much. Horrible attitude from this one lady at the cashier, maybe she's the manager - she is older among the staff, and super snarky! So dismissive! We were a party of 6, 2 of the girls wear hijab, and we think that might have to do with her behavior as she seemed to be nicer to other guests. Right from the get go, she impolitely asked us to step aside so another person could order, without asking whether or not we were ready to order - which we were btw. We let the other party order and didn't think too much of it just yet, next, while ordering I asked her what type of oat milk they carry, and she said "what do you mean what kind? Just the regular one from the grocery store" and I was really taken aback because grocery stores carry a variety and people have preferences, I always ask this question and am never met with this much sass in response. I ended up ordering whole milk in my coffee assuming the oat milk would probably not taste good if she doesn't care to know what brand it is. She still punched in oat milk for my order even though I corrected her twice. It only got worse from there. She gave us fewer forks and knives than the number of people in our party so I had to go upto the counter to request it. As I stood besides the counter waiting for her to get done with her "errands" and taking orders, I tried to get her attention - not that I needed to, just me standing there should've have prompted that - however, she completely ignored me! Completely invisible treatment, avoiding eye contact and walked by me a couple of times. One of the chefs through the kitchen window saw me standing there since a while and asked what I needed and I told him I need a fork and a knife. He pointed at the same older lady and said please ask her or I will come outside to give it to you. I told him she is ignoring me. So he asked another girl to go outside, who was busy doing something else. I then literally waved my entire arm at the same rude lady to get her attention so she could no longer pretend that I wasn't there. She then gestured "what?" at me and I told her the same thing "we need a fork and knife" all she had to do was turn and pick up the items and hand over to me and then had the audacity to tell me "We are very busy!" In a curt tone and walked away - no apology, nothing! I was in shock. Disgusting behavior!!! read more

Ordered an iced "quad" oat milk latte with honey and paid nearly $13 for this drink. It was loaded mostly with ice and the honey was splayed around the rim of the cup and not melted in the espresso. I literally couldn't fathom the cost of this drink as it literally cost the same as an ENTIRE bag of pricey coffee beans! The cost is an outrage. Better off making it at home. read more

Charming Fig is a very cute place. They have wonderful coffee, salads, sandwiches and sweets! I took an out of town friend here and it was a great alternative to going downtown. My friend had the Hey Honey and it was HUGE and the bread it was on was delicious. I have been eating in Charming Fig for last 1 year. Referred to multiple of my friends as the food used to be good. Their service has been always a hit and miss. It seems to have gotten far along and customers are mis-treated. If it happens once or twice, you dust it and get along. I am surprised beyond words. Below are two instances in the recent past to highlight. 1. I Order a set of items and Coffee. They mess up your order thoroughly and when you question them. What happens then. Long story short they will make you feel so worthless. Instead of fixing the incompetency at the order in take area. 2. There is a lady who multiple times had messed up my orders. Today when I politely tell them, the behavior is so predictable. They have a knack of getting on your nerves. Fix the damn incompetency then telling your customers that they are wrong. More in particular when you are one of the regulars who have been coming every week for the last 1 year and tipping well. The bottom line - None of the feedback matters, because the way they behave is so against having a good customer experience. I see in the comments many have experienced similar heartaches. Why spend to get this piece of negativity on a weekend. Hope they change their insane behaviors. I am all out, never back again read more

So happy to have Charming Fig in the neighborhood!! The aesthetic is so cute and the food is fresh. The coffee is great too. Love coming for breakfast or brunch especially. To preface, I didn't try any of the food here or beverages so my review is just based on initial customer service. I came here this afternoon to try their food and coffee. I walked in and there was no line. After grabbing some to-go food for my daughters, I went to the cashier to order lunch for myself. I greeted her with a smile and "hello" and she just fully ignored me and looked in another direction. I waited to see if she'd acknowledge me and then she looked toward another customer and said "Can you believe that guys attitude?!" She then proceeded to chat with this other customer while I waited for 5 minutes. I gestured that I was ready with no acknowledgement. I ended up leaving because it felt like my business wasn't wanted. Just mostly surprised by how I was treated. Probably wouldn't recommend or return myself after that interaction. read more

Finally made it over here and I'm so glad I did. What a great place. Parking is easy and they even have handicapped parking- which can be hard to find. The place was full when we got there (11am) and full when we left a few hours later. Service was slow- but they're packed, and we didn't care. The food was amazing. Grilled cheese with brie and fig jam and prosciutto is so tasty. Avocado toast if HUGE- and tasty. I had the vanilla latte (delicious) and my friends had a wine cocktail (also delicious). Don't miss the cheese for sale- they had some wonderful, fun cheeses and local eggs! (10 dollars a dozen for the XL) I had the best time here and I can't wait to go back. read more

My husband and I just enjoyed a Truffle making class by Bluebirds Chocolate hosted at Charming Fig and we loved it! Such a gorgeous restaurant and event space, beautifully decorated with so many special touches, especially with Valentine's Day around the corner. The staff of the restaurant are so kind and helpful. We managed to get in a quick snack before the class started - we LOVED the ricotta toast - so flavorful with fresh veggies to top it off.
