We have always loved the food, the atmosphere, and the reasonable prices. However, the recent allegations involving the treatment of Black customers are deeply disturbing. We understand Texas Roadhouse has denied these allegations and says its investigation has found no credible evidence of food tampering. We sincerely hope that proves to be true. For now, though, we are choosing to step away. We want to feel completely confident that every person who walks into a restaurant, regardless of race, is treated with dignity, respect, and equal care. We hope Texas Roadhouse continues investigating transparently and demonstrates through its policies and actions that this standard is being upheld. If and when we feel confident about that, we would gladly reconsider returning.
