At the end of the call the representative offered a credit which I felt was the bare minimum, but then they attached a condition so absurd it is hard to believe it is policy. To receive it, I first had to register as a loyalty customer in their app. Read that again. After a first visit bad enough that they owed me a credit, the fix was to hand them my information and sign up for their marketing. I said no. I am not rewarding a failed experience by joining the fan club. She said there was no other way to issue the credit. She could tell I was done. She promised a district manager would call. No one did. So their solution was a loyalty signup for a failed job, and the follow-up was silence. That is not customer service. It is a company that has not learned the basics and somehow thinks the guest is the problem.
