They have awesome subs. Glad to see a new location. They carry 3 sizes of subs. The subs are mad fresh on the grill. They have original fries and loaded. My favorite is the chicken California in a regular. Get the peach lemonade. They add real peaches to it. They offer breakfast burritos to.

The online ordering system (Toast) is easy to use and when you sign up for the rewards, you get $10 off so I got a small meatball pizza with an order of onion rings. Came out to $23. I can totally see why they like to brag about their onion rings. They were really good. I did not get any of the dipping sauce. I would try that next time, but I just had them straight up today and they were really good. The pizza was OK. The dough was fair while the mozzarella and cheddar blend, the meatballs and the sauce were really good. I really need to give this place another chance when I can go into the restaurant. They utilize DoorDash for delivery and it took forever to get here. The initial estimate was 40 minutes and it ended up being closer to 55 and my food was room temperature. I don't like to ding a restaurant for something that's out of its control, but they do have the option of hiring their own delivery drivers. I can understand why they might not, but I think a driver or two in house would get the food out a lot quicker. At least I would get it hot. I was only about a mile away on a Tuesday late afternoon, straight down the road. I would definitely try this place again, but only when I can eat in the store or pick it up myself. The potential is definitely there so I think it might be really good. I would encourage them to maybe hire their own drivers. It definitely reinforced why, when I know in advance that the store uses a third-party delivery service, that I skip right over them.

We sat at a high top with a bench, and it actually worked really well for having the baby with us. Drinks and waters came out efficiently, and our waitress was kind and courteous. The food did take a little while, but everything came out together, which I appreciate with a larger table. My fries were room temperature when they arrived, but they quickly replaced them with piping hot ones, so no real complaint there. Our table had a good mix: the Pulled Pork Sandwich for $12.99, Crispy Chicken Wrap for $14.99, Tequila Lime Chicken Tacos for $14.99, BTH Classic Smash Burger for $14.99, and a medium order of house-made boneless wings for $16.99. No one complained, which is usually a pretty good sign with our crew. The restaurant was clean, fairly busy, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly. Drink prices seemed reasonable too. We were also able to hang out and visit for quite a while without feeling rushed, which made it a really nice family stop. It is close to home, the food was good, and my daughter picked up the bill for Father's Day, so that made it taste even better. We will definitely be back.

One of the options we wanted was out which I have heard is a fairly common thing with certain beers here. For an appetizer we ordered the bone-in Buffalo wings. They were so good and the best item that I had during this meal. I would go back for the wings alone. One of the members of my group who has been here before said the boneless wings are not good and he would only recommend the bone-in wings. For it being a Monday night and not very busy I felt like the food was taking longer than necessary, but this was my first time, so I didn't have anything to compare it to. Majority of the table ordered burgers. We all enjoyed them, but didn't think it was the best burger ever. My favorite was the jalapeño popper burger, but I really don't think you could go wrong with any of the burgers. I liked this place and will be back if the opportunity comes, but I don't think it will be a staple restaurant in our house.

Brick Street Café is easy to find. It's nestled inside of the Fareway store. Just to the left as you enter. Parking is normal for a grocery store. So no issues there... They also offer a drive-through. It's seat yourself. The seating is a combination of low top tables and chairs and booths. There are a few counter seats as well. The menu is surprisingly large. I know they won Iowa's best tenderloin in 2014...and I hadn't been here yet.... That made my decision on what to order really easy. I upgraded to a premium side of fried mushrooms. For a drink, I went with the unsweetened iced tea. Staci was my server and she did phenomenal. I had a short wait for my food. It came to the table, piping hot. Much to my chagrin there was lettuce and tomato on my tenderloin... But like any good GenXer I fixed it myself and didn't say a word. It's definitely a quality tenderloin. Nice and thick. But not too thick. A very consistent breading. They did a nice job tenderizing it. There were no tough spots at all and it just kind of breaks away when you take a bite. The mushrooms were obviously fresh out of the fryer. I've got the second-degree burns to prove it. Lol I'm okay with that because I sure don't want them cold. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was wonderful. It's order and pay with your server at the table. I'd put the tenderloin on par with the one at the Dexfield Diner or B&B. https://www.facebook.com/share/18oQ84LDNk/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://thebrickstreetcafe.com/
