My experience at Ace Hardware on September 25, 2026, when I was refused service after management…read morecharacterized me as "rude." My concern is not simply with an employee. It is how my concerns about customer service were handled and how the situation escalated instead of being resolved professionally. While at the counter, I expressed dissatisfaction with what I perceived as poor customer Service . As a customer, I believe I have the right to respectfully raise concerns about the quality of service I receive. A complaint about an employee's performance should not automatically become a personal confrontation. Rather than focusing on resolving my concern, management engaged me in a back-and-forth exchange over the meaning of a word I had used. I felt that this interaction was antagonistic and that the conversation shifted away from the original customer service issue. Instead of de-escalating the situation, I was being drawn into an unnecessary argument. I was subsequently refused service on the grounds that I was supposedly "rude." This raises important questions about fairness, accountability, and the appropriate use of management authority. Customers and employees will not always agree. However, a disagreement should be addressed through professional communication, consistent policies, and reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. Customers should not have to remain silent about poor service out of fear that speaking up will result in being denied service or ordered off the premises. I recognize that businesses have legitimate rights to establish conduct policies and address disruptive behavior. However, those policies should be applied fairly and consistently, not used as a substitute for addressing legitimate complaints. If a customer is being accused of misconduct, the circumstances and the management's own conduct should also be considered. Businesses open to the public must also comply with applicable civil rights and disability discrimination laws. I am not asking for special treatment. I am expecting fair treatment, professional communication, and accountability. I also believe this incident highlights the importance of transparency. Public recording and livestreaming can help document events, preserve firsthand accounts, and encourage accountability when disputes arise. However, recording laws and privacy restrictions vary by location and circumstance. I support greater transparency in business interactions, along with appropriate privacy protections for customers, employees, children, and other members of the public. I would also welcome a broader discussion about clear camera policies and appropriate video surveillance in businesses and other public-facing environments. Cameras can help establish what actually happened when accounts differ, provided their use respects privacy, security, and applicable law. My goal is to advocate for respectful treatment, fair business practices, and accountability. Customers should be able to raise legitimate concerns without having their concerns dismissed simply because management disagrees with their tone or choice of words. Likewise, employees deserve respectful treatment and should be able to enforce legitimate conduct policies. Both principles can coexist. I welcome a fair review of the facts and a meaningful response from the appropriate management or corporate representatives. These are the day(s) the lord has made Angel Eyes Holback

He helped me out with my loyalty reward card and was very professional as well as pleasant. The same kind of service we always receive. Go Acc These guys are always at the top of their game. And having a Post Office inside adds to the wonder. Beautiful flowers await you at the entrance and it gets better from there. Numerous and knowledgeable employees inside and out. I was helped to find a lawn mower air filter yesterday. When I showed the guy mine (caked with about 2" thick clay and grass, he laughed almost uncontrollably. I had to join him as the lawnmower had already been used successfully once a week ago. But yesterday she wouldn't start. Now the carburetor can get oxygen but there's still a problem. Anyone know of a good lawn mower repair company nearby? 11/2/18 It never fails. I need something and sometimes even I don't know what it is - I come here and people just like Brian, who's been here 8 years now, appear like magic with the best advice and if there's something in their store, of the millions of the items there, they can and will find it. Amazing. The "little guys" definitely have it over the big box stores hands down. These guys are great.

I go there to use the post office and sometimes to buy bread. I also drop off items at God's Goods,…read morewhich entails driving around the back to the drop off area. Hate to say it but since God's Goods moved in, it's always crowded. The parking lot is a nightmare, between trying to find a spot and all the dust. The lot is uneven and should be paved. I have been told others have complained about the uneven ground in the lot, but they are unable to pave it.
