And, unlike those big box stores, they have staff and help that are friendly and helpful! We purchased a hardware item for the same price as it is offered on Amazon, so the pricing is quite reasonable. Nice selection of furniture items as well. So far I've been able to avoid almost all trips to the big box stores thanks to Grayco. And that, in and of itself, makes them a godsend.

It doesn't have the breadth of selection of Lowe's or home depot, but in has a much greater "depth" for what it does have. As an example, you won't find as many chainsaw options here as you would at Lowe's, but Northern Tool has the replacement filters, spark plugs, mufflers, etc for the equipment they do carry, which makes it an invaluable resource to the owners of things like Stihl chainsaws or blowers. It's pretty fun to just walk around and window shop. Workers are very nice and willing to answer any questions, and i think they totally understand the male desire to not ask for help ;)

It looks sort of small for a paint store from the outside, but they have paint, paint samples, a mixing and storage room in the back and (of course) a very helpful staff in the three times that we have been in there to choose paint colors for our contractor for partial painting of an 8-10 year old house. Colors galore! Almost too many for me to take in, for example, in the white shades there must be 10 or so of various shades of white. So, for other interior and exterior colors it blows the mind. Oh, and did I say that the staff was helpful and great? Recommend.

Well the guy behind the counter said that paint only sells in 5 gallon buckets so he suggested a different kind that turned out to be so close that I don't see a difference at all and none of my neighbors notice any difference. I've been paying for shipping to my house when I could have saved all the money (between $10-$20) by picking my order up here! Sweet!
