We're in the process of having a kitchen and bathroom floor done by Ed's. The first day the…read moreinstaller showed up with only part of the materials. He installed the kitchen flooring into the bathroom. When he realized mistake, he took it up. He was done by late morning. He had some of the kitchen floor but not enough to do the whole kitchen. He didn't have any of the material to do the bathroom floor. So he left for the day. He wasn't sure of all the material had come into the storehouse or not Since it was only half a day at the house, I would have expected him to go back to the store to see if the material was in the storehouse . Maybe even return to get some of the flooring done on Friday. We had the plumber come in that morning to removed the toilet , they were scheduled to return in the afternoon to reinstall the toilet. We had to call and cancel him and tentatively reschedule him for Monday. Since it was a Friday, we had all of our kitchen and bathroom closet items stored in our living room for the weekend. Sunday, the installer did show up and correctly put in the bathroom floor and started the kitchen floor. Our bathroom floor is the vinyl that looks like stone and it's a grey tone. They installed a bright white molding around the flooring. It clashes and looks awful. The strip they put between the bathroom and the hallway door matches perfectly . When we requested the white molding be taken out and replaced some that matched the floor like the color of the strip in the doorway. We were told they would look around around and see if they had anything in the warehouse, I am sure that they're not going to find anything just hanging around the warehouse. If they don't have anything, they would have try to find something matching, and it would cost us extra. When we hired them to install the floor we assumed that it would be done with matching materials. Now we're being told we have to pay extra. Since we did not get a discount on the floor or a sale or anything else, I don't feel we should have to pay another cent to have the floor install correctly with matching materials . That's a discussion. we have to have later today with the manager. It's noon time Monday and they may have to come back another day to finish the floor. We told them we needed it done before Tuesday because we were having company on Tuesday. We assumed most of the work would have been done on Friday and just finishing touches on Monday. I won't know until I get home from work if they've completed the installation. I wished I had read some of the reviews , which had several negative comments about the installation. Of flooring they did. Overall, I'm just not pleased with the service , the installation or the communication I'll have to wait to see how this gets resolved but I would never recommend them or have them again.

Sergio is smart, honest, hard working, a good problem solver, and really listened to us about what we wanted, even when we changed our minds about details along the way. His team did fantastic work, and he took care of all of the aspects of the construction for us (plumber, electrician, tile work, glass work, painting, etc). All of his employees were trustworthy and considerate. The scope of the project was converting our second floor into 3 rooms plus a bathroom. Sergio did a great job of offering good ideas for layout, materials, etc, but also being very responsive to our ideas and feedback. He stayed in regular contact throughout the whole job, stopping by regularly, and finished the work very close to the original timeline (he said around 2 months, and it might've been 2.5 months, but we also added on a couple little things to the project). He also stayed on budget! We loved working with him so much that we immediately hired him to overhaul our basement, which is a slightly bigger project, and he's started on that already. I very highly recommend Sergio!

We consulted with several contractors and ultimately settled on BBC due to the competitive price, references, and availability. We worked with Eduardo and his team throughout the duration of the project. We are very happy with the outcome. The Quote & Final Price. Of those we contacted, BBC took the least amount of time to get us a quote. The quote was also the most detailed of the ones we received. Eduardo included renderings of the island remodel and surrounding space as well as a detailed breakdown of materials and labor. The quoted price was very competitive -- it was among the lowest. BBC completed the project for the quoted price in spite of a few unexpected complications we encountered along the way. Quality of work. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work performed. We were very up front about certain key requirements going into the project and Eduardo did a very good job making sure to adhere to them. For example, we wanted to make sure the island cabinetry matched our older, discontinued, cabinetry. Eduardo was able to match our own cabinets very closely without impacting the price. We also had a number of other very specific requirements regarding cabinetry arrangement and Eduardo stuck to it perfectly. We got what we asked for. Communication and experience. Eduardo and his crew kept the dialogue going throughout the project. We spoke regularly via telephone, email, and text message. They listened to our questions and concerns along the way and made adjustments based on our input. They were very good at explaining when certain things made sense and when they didn't. Eduardo and his team were not afraid to speak up when they thought their input would lead to a better result. For example, Eduardo and one of his team members (Daniel) had some suggestions about how to cut the granite to wrap around some steam pipes adjacent to the island. This resulted in a much better finished appearance and the additional cost was negligible. We are glad we listened to their suggestions as the final result is better than we had expected. We had a great experience with BBC and would use them again. We recommend them for anyone considering any type of project for their home.

I paid Jason for gutters windows to renovated my deck and to redo my front brick/granite steps…read more It's been a year and I can report that the gutters leak more than the old ones did, the deck was so hacked together that I've gotten recommendations to take it down and start over from scratch. He had two teams of guys one team did the front steps, they did an amazing job and during the job they found an issue... They fixed the issue and told me about it afterwards... No issues since then they are so nice they make the rest of my walkway look bad. But then he requested that I tell the rest of his laborers that.... I did the stairs with my father.....So that "his guy" didn't know he had someone else do that work. "His guy" did my front door. It was wrong and took 3 tries to get it right. He did my deck and it took 3-4 times to get that.... At least to the point it was safe enough. Posts not close to being straight. Pounds of wood filler in old rotted beams instead of replacing them like we talked about. Brand new decking sticking up an inch in the doorway. Everytime I opened my mouth the only response was "well.... Your house is old". Jesus.... This is why I hired a company called Renovate. I had it out with Jason, he told me not to worry, this guy was done and someone else would be doing the rest of the work. Great... So I left town for business and the day the new guy was supposed to show up my wife texted me to tell me the old guy was here and that Jason told her that he had already talked to me and we were all good to go.... Which wasn't true. By the time I got back to town the windows were half done and I had it out with Jason.... Jason defended his guy by saying he's a "master tiler with XX years of experience". I then reminded him that we weren't doing any tiles. So now it's a year later. One of the windows that was installed is now leaking under the sill into the house and creating water damage. So 10s of thousands of dollars later I have a jacked up deck. Water damage, and gutters that can't catch water and that rattle like crazy anytime the wind blows. All because his master tiler needed the work. I've reached out to Jason today about the water damage because I'm too busy fixing the deck. Hope to hear back from him. I personally think Jason is a nice enough guy but apparently got in over his head at my job. I even told him he needs to charge more and hire better people and stick to only have "his guy" doing tiles. Personally I'd stay away.
