Overall very unhappy. The sales rep told us what the crew would do. Which included evening out/leveling the dirt floor in the basement. When the crew arrived they said they would not even out the dirt floor and if they were to do that it would cost a lot more money. Also, the workmanship is the poorest quality I've ever seen. The concrete patio in the back of our condo had slumped toward the building. Erickson did a very professional job of creating an estimate, (which we found to be reasonable) scheduling the work and showing up on-time and with the right resources. They did a terrific job from beginning to end. They cleanly drilled a few small holes in the slab, carefully injected their foam material, repaired a pre-existing crack, pressure washed, and sealed the slab. Chris and Travis were stars. I got estimates for radon mitigation systems. EF gave me an estimate over $3,200. I got estimates from 6 other companies that ranged from $1,100 to $1,800. After they provided their estimates, EF followed up with me asking if I was going to move forward with them. When I explained that they were 2-3 times more expensive than everyone else, they implied that they use better equipment (i.e. more powerful fans). We ended up going with a company that charged $1500. They actually talked me out of using a more powerful fan saying it wasn't necessary for our situation (the post install testing showed the radon levels are far below the EPA acceptable levels so it was the right move). In addition to all of the above, the EF guy also tried to sell another $6k worth of unrelated work that I don't think was actually necessary. I have heard they do good work (which is why I reached out in the first place), so maybe they specialize in other areas and provide good value for other types of work. And I will say they were friendly, quick to respond, and otherwise professional. read more

Radon level was higher than usual even though we had a system installed, so we called Erickson foundation to help us see if we can install a second system or if the current one is broken etc. They came over and said the current system that we have was well installed, but there were some "holes" in the foundation and fixing them should maybe improve the situation. What's amazing about them is that they even told us "Hey we can fix it but since we're so far away it's gonna be more expensive, get someone more local or DIY". After we did that radon levels did decrease as they suggested but it wasn't enough. We contacted them again and they proposed a solution. It was quickly implemented and now basement is at an acceptable level. Couldn't recommend them more. read more

Needed to have a crack repaired in our basement. Took over 6 weeks to get someone to come look at it. He tried to up sell for a furnace filter system and very expensive dehumidifier. His estimate for the crack repair was almost $900. He needed a deposit of $170 to hold our place. Then took over a week to get a call to schedule the work which was then 3 weeks out. A hurricane was coming so I called a local guy who came out the next day fixed and was done in 2 hours, almost as long as the estimate took. To make matters even more upsetting he was half of the quoted price. When I tried to get the deposit back I was told they would not refund due to having to order materials. Still came out lower, quicker and better by going to a local recommended guy. read more

We had recently moved into a condo. Found out after we were there for a week that we had water in the basement. Contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions and we had an appointment scheduled within a few days. The job estimator came out to our location. We explained the problem and he was very responsive to listening to our concerns. We agreed on a plan as to not have to deal with any foundation leaks in the future. Within weeks they had scheduled the installation of a complete drainage system and sump pump installation. We were advised that it would take three days to complete the work and they were true to their word. Each day the installation team supervisor explained what they were going to accomplish that day. At the end of their shift they went over what had been completed and listened to our questions and concerns we had regarding the job and provided us with answers while they were on site. So Erickson Foundation came out and gave me a quote of about $2400 and they said that they could raise my front porch. Their injection foam didn't raise the porch at all. I tried calling them many times. They have never acknowledged my calls ever and they just ignore me. So I hired a contractor to redo my porch with a new concrete pour. The foundation from another contractor came out perfect and I realized why Erickson never called me back! Their foam injection(a little bit) that they injected was too weak to raise the concrete slab!! They must have known that they couldn't deliver what they promised. Mixed review I had spoken with other radon remediation companies and received quotes before meeting with Erickson Foundation Solutions. The salesman, Chris, seemed much more thorough in his approach and he gave a presentation explaining radon, its danger and the process to remove it. The quote was slightly higher than another quote, but I felt more confident. And with the added fan moisture guard, the system came with a 10-year warranty. So I agreed to the proposed plan and paid a deposit. Later I decided to not install concrete in the adjacent (but not connected) basement/crawl space. I asked Erickson to quote installation of plastic sheeting to seal that space. John, the sales manager's quote doubled the total price. I already had found durable plastic sheeting for about $300. So how would that become $2000 extra? John explained that there would be a drainage mat under the plastic and it would be attached every few inches to the walls and then sealed with caulking. But besides sealing the area, the quote also included another extraction hole and piping to connect it to the fan. This seemed to me like over-kill for a 1200 square-foot house. But he said without the second extraction location, they would not warranty the job. So I accepted the "up-sell" and signed. Today the office called to tell me when the crew would arrive and they arrived on time and were very pleasant. However, they did not have the drainage mat. They called their supervisor and was told that it was not included in the quote and would be an additional charge. In fact it had been a verbal inclusion, not written. The crew was surprised that a second extraction hole was quoted, since the radon levels were not very high to start (3.8 and 5.4). So I feel that I accepted a possibly unnecessarily elaborate system, more elaborate than I probably really need, for twice the price. And didn't receive the drainage mat that I was told would be part of it. read more

We contacting Erickson to repair some cracks in our basement floor and replace a sump pump. Two of the four cracks were filled and the sump pump was installed in correctly. We contacted the company for 2 months with countless unanswered calls and emails. We are actively trying to resolve. Would not recommend this company. read more

1st time I used Erickson was for a small leak where pipes come into house. Man came to give quote, had to call another guy to see job who had been with company for 30 years, he said they couldn't do what they wanted to do but still fix it. Also said would cost less. When they came to do the work 4 people were there and was told price would be the same , that the guy with 30 years experience told me the wrong thing. Did a good job. The second time I used Erickson was for a2+9 crack in the front of my garage floor. Was told I would have a quote within 2 to 3 hours. I had to get this done before I got my garage floor sanded. I finally had to call Erickson Monday so I could get the quote. They wanted almost 1,400.00 to repair a 2+9 crack. I will not be using this company for anything, I think no one should use Erickson ‼ read more

I called for an estimate to pour a new concrete floor in 2-car garage. A guy came out to do the estimate, and then I didn't hear anything for a few weeks. I called Erickson and they said the guy no longer worked for the company, and that they'd call me again to re-schedule an estimate. I never heard from them again. Waste of time. read more
