So delicious! Best around- take out only. But you can't beat the taste!! Absolutely delicious.

Used to like this place but frankly, it's just not so good. The hot and sour soup is not good. The Egg Fu Young gravy is not good. They incinerate their spare ribs. And it freaks me out that the cook doesn't use gloves. I much prefer Sushi Time, also in Plaistow. I don't need to go there anymore. read more

I have ordered here for years now, sometimes i have spurts where ill order everyday for months. The food is good and so is the service! Fast delivery times too. 10/10 for me. read more

The General Tso's Chicken was delicious. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. There is a small eating area if you choose to eat there like I did - pleasant ambiance. Or you can do take out. read more

I have spent many HOURS in this restaurant taking with the the owners about marketing because I think that this restaurant is well above average but they have not generated traffic as I feel they are worthy. They have considered delivery but the cost of this service is high considering the location vs. the proximity of local communities (Plaistow, Kingston and Newton). They have a very CLEAN restaurant and the fact that they ALLOW you to see the opened kitchen is odd for this type of cuisine. When this restaurant was converted from the old Domino's Pizza all of the equipment was replaced with brand new stuff and they keep the place very nice. My mother and I lived in NYC for most of my life and have a very high standard for Chinese food and we have both been very impressed on MANY occasions. Without trashing other local Chinese restaurants this place knows the correct color of Wonton Soup and it tastes very good. It is not dark brown or completely clear. It has a yellowish tint with all the right "stuff" in it. Their entrees are prepared to order and always hot and tasty. I typically get the following items and would recommend. Wonton Soup Hot and Sour Soup Chicken Lo Mein Pork Fried Rice Chicken with Broccoli (with Brown- non spicy sauce) Lemon Chicken Shrimp with Lobster Sauce I think this is a diamond in the rough and worth trekking to for high quality, fresh Chinese Food. read more

I stopped at Chang Long for lunch takeout recently. I ordered the L17 Shrimp With Garlic Sauce ($6.25) served with pork fried rice and choice of appetizer or soup (I chose chicken noodle soup) and an order of Steamed Pork Dumplings (6 for $5.75 plus tax). The service was prompt and friendly and my food was all set in about 10 minutes. The shrimp with garlic sauce had tender shrimp (cleaned), onions, peppers, snow peas, mushrooms in a semi sweet sauce (not too thick). The pork fried rice had a firm texture with a mix of roast pork pieces and sprouts. The chicken noodle soup had firm cooked lo mein noodles with tender pieces of chicken, scallions in a light chicken broth. The food in my lunch combo tasted fresh. The homemade pork dumplings were the right size and very good, which were filled with ground pork balls in a soft dumpling wrapper/skin with a sweet soy sauce for dipping, way better than the thick doughy kind found at most Chinese restaurants (I do like those too). I will have to return here again and try more items based on the suggestions from the other Yelpers. read more

Taste-3 Combination plate with pork fried rice chicken wing crab Rangoon and boneless spare ribs. The rice was bland but it wasn't oily I didn't have a disgustingly oily feeling afterwards. It was a "clean" feeling. Crab Rangoon were good. Wings were traditional. Spare ribs were good but there was like 2 spoons full of pork fat on them and that was unpleasant. Service-3 Phone service was good but when I asked for plates it seemed like it was an ordeal or an inconvenience to them. Presentation-4 Neatly packed no grease spewing out just a couple spoon full of pork fat on the spare ribs Value-3 12$ for a combination plate but it came with half the amount of rice that most places bring... Overall-3 It was ok I wouldn't be rushing back but will definitely try them again read more

We ordered dinner one night and the lo mein was pungent and had an odd taste. We called the restaurant and they did not care. Would not replace it or offer any solution to resolve the problem. Their response was "it's been made the same all night". Will never return. Deleted they're number and threw the menu away. read more

It just wasn't very good really liked it a few years back so it was disappointing today . Service was quick

Great menu serving up fresh food. Have never had a bad meal here and will certainly return!

I have no idea how people are rating this place well. Tried them on two separate occasions and on both the food was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. Hot and Sour soup is hard to screw up but it was watered down and had little to no flavor. Fried rice was stale. read more

My husband loves their food, and we pick up food for him here at least a couple times a month. They're quick. They have a great Covid friendly setup - a table right at the front door with takeout orders for pickup without having to go near anyone. read more

Went here last night for the first time and it was decent. We ordered the food online and it was quite easy. Wish they would add descriptions to some of the dishes like house special fried rice etc. Food was okay...your average Chinese food. As others have said the shrimp smells fishy but does taste fine. The food was made well but nothing special. For our area this is a good place to get your Chinese food craving filled but nothing special. read more

I love their stir fry dishes. Fresh and healthy. The only thing I am missing is cocktails.

Wasn't aweful wasn't the best. Got a lunch plate. Price was good, food was good and ordered online was super easy. Would go back. Dont have anything bad to say read more

This is definitely the best Chinese takeout I have had in the area since I have moved here and I have tried quite a few places. Only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because delivery is cash only and I didn't have enough cash on my person so I had to go pick it up. (I know I know, 1st world problems). The fried appetizers taste fresh and everything was steaming hot. You can tell it was all fried in very clean veggie oil. The way things were packaged to go was extremely conventional and nothing was spilled Over. Other places don't use a clip seal container for their general tso and the sauce gets everywhere but not Chang Long. They staple their Styrofoam containers together as well. The general tso was a little sweet but all in all everything was good and I will be ordering exclusively from Chang long from now on. read more

Chang Long - A couple of mixed app plates - Chinese Near Me - Plaistow, New Hampshire

Food is always great u can tell they use fresh veggies and made to order. Staff is always nice and u can understand the person taking the phone orders witch is a huge plus! read more

This place was great for Chinese food! We were really impressed with the beef teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki! Big pieces of meat, seasoned well, and very tender. The crab ragoon's were a little sweet for our liking but something that we can overlook. The portions were great size and the combination plates were the best combinations I have seen lately. Delivery was about 45 minutes on a Friday night which wasn't too bad considering we do not have many restaurants that deliver to us in Newton New Hampshire. Overall we were very happy and will be ordering from them regularly. read more

Not as good as before. Tonight was the first time we ate from Chang Long in about 6 weeks. The steak teriyaki was shorter (3.5-4" strips), the pork egg foo young wasn't as good and we got half of the gravy as before. It wasn't nearly enough. The chicken lo mein was fine. They also messed up and gave us a small wonton soup, despite repeating our full order, which included a large. To top it off, our $50 order only warranted 3 fortune cookies where we used to get 5. I think we are going to try "Sushi Time" next time despite being farther away. read more

Decent place for Chinese takeout. They always get my order right, and it's always good. The "spicy" food tends to be on the mild side, but that's common for New Hampshire. read more

"In the beginning, there was a place with great food", people came from great distances to sample the unheard of polynesian delight. Like most new restaurants, this one started off with fresh ingredients, cook it to order and never reheat chicken fingers, teriyaki etc, but now they too have fallen into the downward spiral into the abyss. When they opened, the food was phenomenal. We always order over a hundred dollars of food with various specialty dishes along with the basics, chicken fingers, house rice etc... which were always fresh and never reheated crap. After a few years, we've had our last meal here for good after yesterday's order. The house rice was thrown together with old pork fried rice and other added ingredients with the shrimp being old and fishy smelling, which is not supposed to smell that way. The chicken fingers were old reheated in the fryolater and hard as a rock. The beef and chicken teriyaki was also reheated and hard. The crab rangoon was undercooked. The egg rolls were something I've never tasted from here before, gross and missing 3/4 of the ingredients of a normal egg roll, it just had white cabbage, no shrimp or bits of pork and red cabbage like they used to. The chow fun, as well as the Mongolian beef used to taste awesome before. Now, you have to drown them with sweet and sour sauce to make them go down, what a shame. The kicker was my wife specifically ordered in person and being a vegetarian, ordered a vegetable chow mein. Well, when she got home, which is over an hour away and opened it, low and behold it was a chicken chow mein with 2 tiny packets of dry noodles, I mean tiny. It's a shame but just like all Chinese restaurants, they try to save money and order cheaper items and constantly reheat instead of throwing away old food. It was a good run, but all good things must come to an end. read more

We ordered over the phone for pick up. They called me 4 times to tell me my order was ready, which I've never heard of any place doing. When we went to pick it up the young girl was insanely rude. The food was greasy and definitely not fresh. Very much unimpressed. read more

I just moved to the area & wanted some Chinese. I searched Yelp & finally decided on this place. My fiance & I ordered an appetizer combination to share, a small white rice, & a small chicken rice soup. Everything was so delicious! I normally do not eat the breading on the chicken fingers, but I was able to eat the breading on these. There was more chicken than breading & that is hard to find at most Chinese restaurants. The boneless spare ribs had barely any fat on them which is great! Overall, we had a great experience with the food & the service was also great. The girl at the front counter was very nice & helpful. This is a take-out place for sure. I will be making this my place for Chinese when I get the craving! read more

This place made my wife and I both sick. The fried food tasted like they haven't changed the oil in forever- my egg rolls, chicken fingers, crab Rangoon, and rice all somehow smelled and tasted like bad fish. The kung pow chicken tasted like it was watered down or something. My wife said everything tasted and smelled like dirty dishes. I called the restaurant to let them know we got sick and that something definitely was up with them and asked for a manager. The girl that answered rudely told me there was no manager! That makes total sense! I called Plaistow board of health. I was hoping to reach a manager and just let them know something was wrong but at this point all I can do is leave this review because they refuse to let me speak with one. read more

I go here every Friday night. Pu pu platter is incredible. Crab Rangoon is the best!! Noodle dishes are exceptional. Chicken wings are cooked and fried to perfection. Pork fried rice is to die for!! This is my first time here. I recently moved to the area and I pass by here to and from work. It's a convenient location and has ample parking. I ordered assorted appetizer plate A25, cost $9. It has 4 Crab Rangoon, Boneless Spare Ribs, 2 Beef Teriyaki and 2 Chicken Teriyaki. I paid $1 extra so I could have all Beef Teriyaki. The Crab Rangoon were delicious, the Teriyaki was moist and tender. The Boneless Spare Ribs looked great, but were hard as a rock. Next I ordered Special Combination Platter C2. Cost $8.75. Sweet and Sour Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and Egg Roll. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was average, but still enjoyable. The Egg Roll was decent, but bland. The Pork Fried Rice was ok, but having read reviews prior to ordering I expected Bean Sprouts in it, but there wasn't any, I like Bean Sprouts in my rice. The last thing I ordered was Special Combination Platter C8. Cost $8.75. Your choice of Egg Foo Young, I chose Pork Egg Foo Young with Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Fingers. The Egg Foo Young was over cooked, but still very good. The gravy is served on the side, which I liked. Again, the rice was ok. I can't tell you how the Chicken Fingers were, because I didn't receive them. All in all the food is good. I will definitely order from them again. read more

Best Chinese food I've ever had. So glad I found this place! Nice people and great food!

Very good Chinese take-out. Good quality, fair prices and nice owners/staff. The menu board looks a bit dated but that's about my only criticism. The spicy vegetable bean curd rocks! All-in-all a very good dinner option. read more

I've got the chicken lo main and spare ribs and they were both really good no complaints . I ordered the general sou chicken tonight with white rice read more

For Chinese takeout, this is the best in the area. There's not much room in their small (clean!!) space, but even after bringing it back home the food is always still nice and hot. They seem to cook everything fresh - even on New Years Eve, when they were insanely busy, our food was hot, fresh, and not over cooked or reheated. Everything we've ordered here has been great and the staff is so friendly. Li's is nice to sit down and dine in if that's what you're looking to do, but I think the food here is much better. read more

Good Chinese fast food. Cashier was friendly and the food was tasty. Can't ask for much more from a no frills take out joint.

I've never had a bad meal here. They use fresh vegetables, will make modifications willingly and are extremely reliable about delivery (which is hard in this area). After while it will turn into you Chinese food cheers! You will not regret stopping here! read more

I just tried this today for the first time. They were open on Christmas day which is a super bonus cause believe it or not we were starving. We ordered pupu for two and it came to less than twenty dollars. It came with chicken teriyaki beef teriyaki egg roll crab Rangoon chicken finger chicken wing and boneless spare rib. Delicious. They were quick and clean and even gave us a Chinese Christmas ornament as a gift. Really nice people. Ill be back. read more
