First time and woman at front was not very pleasant. Ordered pepper steak and onions and also ordered bourbon chicken . Pepper steak was spongy and fatty . Bourbon chicken was all fatty . When asked about the chicken we were told it was chicken and why is it fatty like pork bites. The sauces were very plain and no flavor. When asking if it was bourbon chicken or pork she got mad ! Asked for a refund and she said since I hate most of the vegetables on pepper steak I couldn't have refund . She gave refund for bourbon chicken. I was not a fan of this food. I was watching "The King of Queens" on tv, and Doug and Carrie were sitting around eating Chinese food. I haven't had Chinese food in a loooong time so impulsively, I went here. Not a good choice, and probably turned me off Chinese food in perpetuity. I've never had chicken chow me in so I got that. I am not sure if that's what I actually got because pictures of chicken chow neon online look way different than what I was served. Whatever it was, it was salty and flavorless and generally gross. Called in an order for Singapore Mai Fun, Orange Chicken, and shrimp egg rolls. Great portion size, enough for lunch the next day. Singapore Mai Fun was exactly what I wanted. So flavorful. Meat was good quality. Orange chicken had more pieces of actual orange peel than my husband was used to, but the flavor was really good. Quick turnaround time. Tucked away in the mini mall..Not much to look at & only one table and no buffet so plan to take it to go but the Egg rolls were crisp and fresh...entrée was Sesame chicken good not great...pork fried rice was outstanding and I don't usually get to excited about rice but this was very good.. If I could put a negative stars I would. The food was terrible. I eat a lot of chinese food and the food here was nasty and the worst I've ever had. I chose this place because it was close by my house. I'm never going back there. I basically flushed $30.63 down the garbage disposal. The pork fried rice was burned and the pork was dryed out and could hardly bite down on it. The sweet and sour chicken was hard we could tap it on the table. The couple pieces of chicken that looked and felt soft was actually a tiny scrap of chicken with a lot of breading on it to make it look like a big piece. The pork fried wontons were nasty. The outside was burned and the pork inside was like mashed pork. When biting into it the mashed pork inside came out like I just bite into a pimple; squirted out. The white rice just stuck together we had to divide it up into squares. The food had no flavor other then the burnt taste. After everyone tried to take a bite of it we all decided to put it in the garbage disposal and order pizza. Maybe the people that put 4 and 5 stars got lucky and it was good for them; but not for us. read more
