This place is great! The shop is very clean and quiet. Very different from other car shops I have been too. Everything has been sanitized. The staff is very friendly and professional. Adam handled my repair. He thoroughly inspected my vehicle and explained the repair process to me in great detail. They did a great job repairing my BMW 320i. I was promised that my vehicle would be ready in 5-7 business days but I had it back in 4. I would not hesitate to return to this business for future repair needs. read more

TLDR: The people who work here are dishonest and make up a bunch of lies to get out of any kind of accountability. Their "lifetime guarantee" is false. I had my Toyota's headlight and front bumper repaired/replaced here after an accident in Spring 2019. Recently, I noticed problems with the work that had been done (a gap between the replaced headlight and the bumper on the passenger side of the vehicle). When I took the car back to be looked at (as they love to advertise a lifetime guarantee of their work), they told me they would look into it for insurance to cover the updated repairs needed. I received a call from Chandler's about a week later to follow up. They said my insurance company would not cover the corrective repairs since there was no proof that I hadn't been in another accident since taking my car for them to repair in 2019. I have not been in another accident. I called Chandler's back to speak to a supervisor, Renee. Renee explained to me that my insurance approved of a headlight that was not a Toyota factory part, and that was why my bumper wasn't aligned correctly. Renee also told me she could order clips to put on my car to alleviate some of my concerns (she never called me back after that). I called my insurance agent who allegedly made this assumption and approved of the generic part. The agent told me the assumption of me being in a second accident was entirely that of the Chandler's representative. The agent also provided me with the following information via email: "Attached is the body shop estimate used to pay this claim. They wrote up the estimate and ordered the parts. We then paid their estimate.  [We] didn't force the shop to use parts. If they ordered a part that didn't fit, shop should have turned it for a different part. I also attached the repair acceptance sign by he shop. This certainly appears to be a workmanship issue, not a part issue." Chandler's recognized an issue with their repair work, tried to get the insurance company to pay for their mistake, blamed the insurance company when they didn't get their way, and then lied about the entire experience to their customer who just wants their car to be repaired correctly. read more

I took my vehicle here about 3 years ago after hitting a deer. The front fascia needed to be repaired. All was well until now; today I was removing the front bumper to install new headlights when I noticed the area that was being repaired had pieces of cardboard in various places and random washers under various screws (not OEM). There were missing bolts and push pins in many places especially underneath the car (splash shield and fender liner), some bolts used weren't OEM compared to other areas. Half of the bolts on the driver side fender (on the chassis itself) weren't even tightened. On the surface the work looked great, but once you see what goes on underneath it looks like a half-assed job. Which leads me to my next issue, as I am installing new headlights, the driver side mounting points don't even line up with the current headlights that are in it. It looks like it was forced, and it seems they used a random bolt to get it to screw. This means my new ones won't mount properly as the area on the chassis on the driver side (where the deer hit me) is bent compared to the passenger side. I don't think they even bothered to fix the area well, just enough to slap on a new bumper and light and hoped for the best. For the amount that was paid for for this job I would have expected much better quality than what I had. Just as a side note, every issue I noticed primarily was on the driver side (the repair side). The passenger side was fine (which I assume they didn't touch). Overall, I would not recommend this place after finding these issues, but if you do get service here, inspect the work (or have someone else) heavily before accepting your car. After putting the bumper back on, I now know why there are washers. The bumper doesn't sit flush on the driver side, so instead of fixing it, they put washers to fill the gaps instead. read more

I recently had a minor car incident when my mini rolled down a parking lot hill and hit another car... : ( (I did put on the parking brake, but not all" of the way apparently) My insurance company sent me to Chandler. Did not want to write this review. Was hoping I had put this horrid experience behind me. Recommended by my boss. Worst mistake ever made regarding my car. took my car in because i hit some road trash on the interstate. Bumper damage under bottom right side. Required new bumper and fog light. the 1st time i was called to pick up my car, the bumper was installed incorrectly, front wind diffuser installed upside down and broken pieces reinstalled on the bumper. 2nd time called to pick up my car, diffuser not installed and the front emblem way left of center. They also tried to tell me the emblem was that way when I brought it in. it wasn't, but even if it was it was brought in for them to fix my car not attempt to convince me it was always like that. One guy, forget his name CJ, BJ, whatever, went so far as to say i had to have bought my car used and that the damage had always been there. Bought that car brand new. Have done all required work and modifications myself. I know my car inside and out. 3rd time called for pickup, everything seemed pretty good. Finally! The diffuser not being installed not much of a problem, told them I could install it myself. Was assured no holes had been drilled in the underside of the bumper because they were worried about installing the diffuser incorrectly. Yet, there was missing hardware and smashed bushings from an attempt. they did replace the missing and damaged hardware. Couple of weeks later finally had the time to install the diffuser and find the hardware is stripped and/or missing holding parts of the bumper and to the protective skid plate underneath the car. After finding half the holes had already been drilled in my new bumper I was livid. Did not care it was Sunday called Eric Chandler on his personal cell phone. My day had been ruined and he need to know about it. He claimed he took my call because he knew my boss. Did not care that a business with his name on it had done an absolute horrible job on someone's vehicle. The following morning he asked for pictures. I never responded. I was done with Chandler Collision. Ordered the hardware i needed put my car back together and moved on. Well, at least the paint job looks pretty good. Or so I thought. It's been less than a year and the clear coat is already peeling. Several coats is what they told me. This the worst body shop in all of Central GA. They lie and do just enough to hope you don't notice, never taking into account that some people actually take care of their vehicles and may discover issues created by their "work" or lack there of. And what kind of idiot uses high torque power tools on the plastic parts of a car? If you need a body shop I urge you to look else where. They take no pride in their work and treat you like a nuisance for pointing out their mistakes. I just wanted my car fixed. What i got was headache, frustration and now more money out of my pocket to get my front end repainted. read more

6/30/17 This will be my initial review. I will update once I see my car. Let me first explain why I am starting with 3 stars. 1. This is a REAL review, no.bribes, not a friend of the owner, none of that....I am a customer and this shop was referred by my insurance company as one of their trusted collision shops. I LOVE MY CAR!! 2. The text communication is great. I will give them that.... Now, here is my issue so far, which leaves me kind of skeptical. Staci called me yesterday, 6/30 and said that my car is ready for pick up, but "we are just waiting for a piece of molding to come in on Monday". She also mentioned that I could pick up my car today and bring it back on Monday and WAIT as they install the molding. This really upset me because it made me feel like they were trying to get paid and that quality was not important to them. Until my car is completely finished I should not have received a call or been giving the unacceptable offer of running back and forth to them for their convenience. To add insult to injury, they sent me a text after I advised Staci that I will wait until it is finished saying "your car ready for pick up". How is that when you are waiting for a part to come in? Seriously? My insurance company is a highly reputable company and I trust them so I hope my car is being repaired properly with A1 quality. This review is to be continued. I will add before and after photos.... 7/3/17 Okay, so here is my revised final review re the repair and service I received at Chandler's. First things first, when you walk in the place is beautiful. I was not expecting this from a collision shop. My skepticism was all wrong....I received A+ service, my car looked brand new and I am happy. I know for sure that most ppl dislike dealing with auto collision shops but if you really want a good experience and great work done on your car, this place is where I recommend you to bring your vehicle. I pretty much got my entire passenger side of my 7 year old car fixed here after someone hit me. It was a smooth process (along with the help of the insurance company) and was done in the time said it would be ready. My car looks great! The only problem is that now my drivers side looks a mess compared to my newly repaired and painted passenger side! Friendly staff, great location. If you're prepared to have your car in the shop for a month after estimating only a week, here's your place! I dropped my car off September 30th, the completion date was 10/11. The morning of 10/11 they changed it to 10/16. I was IRATE. I need my car. They payed for a rental covered until 10/16. And then I get a text message (not a phone call) that it's not ready yet again and they will have it until 10/18. This is absurd. What a shady business. They call to say that it's just about finished and then SUDDENLY it's still in assembly and not drivable. I'm furious and disgusted. read more

I was in an accident in April and took my car to Chandlers. The best decision I made. With no fault of Chandlers Hyundai parts were shutdown during the pandemic. But Chandler kept me informed weekly. As a first time client here, I was very impressed by the service and professionalism of the Chandler Collision Center. They gave me detail information about, what would happen to my vehicle. I was most impressed by the text messages that I received about every little thing that was going on. From ordering the parts to receiving the parts and when my vehicle was going to be ready. I was even more impressed by the voice mail that I got, that stated my car didn't come out right and that they were putting it back in for re-cleaning. After an encounter with a deer and less-than-alert fellow driver, my car needed significant work, including cosmetic stuff, frame straightening, and something with the rear axle. I'd dreaded having the work done, after an experience with a different collision center about 15 years previously. Turned out I shouldn't have. Unlike the other place, Chandler's kept me informed every step of the way, and worked directly with my insurance company. They finished the work within the estimated time frame In fact, they even hustled a bit to get me on the road for work-related trip I'd had planned. Despite a bit of a rush, they didn't cut any corners. The car looked and drove almost like new (it was 4 years old at the time). They guarantee their work for life, though fortunately I haven't had to test this claim. Coming up on two years since the work was done, I've had no trouble at all. read more

I did not get any work done here, but because of the service and interaction I had with them they get 5 Stars. We came in with an insurance claim that was a pretty high number, completely under our deductible so we'd be paying completely out of pocket. That was fine with us, as long as the car was fixed. However once their staff looked at our car, one of them was convinced they wouldn't need such extensive repairs, and even went so far to do a little work on the spot to show that the damage could be fixed by a good detailer rather than a full on collision repair shop like them. They gave us a place they liked and let us go, reassuring us we likely wouldn't need to drop the car off any where for more than a day, and if we did we were always welcome back of course. This was an incredible relief as other places have suggested anywhere form 3 to 10 days out of service, meaning we had to work our schedules around picking up and dropping off the car and getting a rental and just so much stress we didn't need. That they would forgo business in our interest, recommending the best course of action for our car and to save us money tells me they're honest. They were polite, friendly, and had a nice waiting area on top of that as well. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if we did need work in the future. read more

Last fall our new, one day old car was hit by a person running a red light. There was extensive damage. I consulted with a person at a car care shop we frequent, which is a highly ranked auto shop in Howard County. He recommended two shops that were trustworthy and did quality work. Chandler's Collision was one of the two. We live less than 10 min from Chandler's and decided to take it there. Our car was assigned to Justin. I told him right off the bat that quality of work was my number one goal. If that meant spending more time so be it. I met the other driver's insurance rep. at Chandler's and we discussed the work to be done. $15K+, major job. The rep estimated that the job would take about a month. Early on I started receiving regular text messages (thanks Stacy) with up-dates. I was a bit surprised to hear that the job would take almost two months. The disappointment was not because I thought that was unreasonable, but because it was a new car and we wanted to drive it. To be fair to Chandler's, they were using factory OEM parts that took longer to be ordered and delivered. That was OK with us because my first priority was quality. When I went to pick up the car I noticed some stains on the seats, which they removed. The rest of the job was absolutely of the highest quality. The paint job, the trim work, the way the parts fit together were all completed to a high standard. They even had the car detailed. My only suggestion would be to have a person in charge of a quick inspection, inside and out, to inspect for any needed, last minute "clean-up", like the seats. I would absolutely highly recommend Chandler's to family and friends and will use them again if we have a need. read more

They helped work me into a rental and kept me updated on the progress of the repairs. When I went to pick up my car I thought they had correct all the problems that the previous body shop had done, but after driving it around for a couple days I noticed that there were still some major problems including some wind noise from a re-hung door and not connecting some of the electronics back correctly. The corrected some of the problems and made up for the last place that screwed up my truck, but didn't complete the work properly in major areas. At first I thought this place was great and at first glance everything looks ok, but it's not. I am gonna have to take my truck to a third place now to have what Chandler's should have repaired and corrected. I would say after the sour experiences I had with a couple places to repair the same issues, do you research prior to picking a body shop. It it's a small job I am sure they would do it ok, but big jobs for big boy trucks needs to be repaired by big boys used to big expensive toys. read more

I was thankful when my insurance company recommended Chandlers...not because I had any knowledge of their work but because I honestly had no idea where to go to get my truck fixed. The insurance company sent me to the right place. From the gentleman who met with my wife to start the estimate, to Justin who works the phones and Email, keeping us informed...GREAT JOB! The work was solid, the communication...fantastic, the price...consistent with the other estimate that we got AND all work was done ahead of schedule as I had my truck back two full days before it was estimated. During a repair to my truck, Chandlers broke a piece off that was not related to the initial repair. They claim they cannot replace it. This is now a full blown nightmare trying to have this corrected. It seemed that as soon as they realized I would likely not be a repeat customer, they became belligerent and extremely difficult to deal with. They were rude, not helpful, dishonest, and their actions bordered on criminal. I had to find another collision shop to have the corrective repairs made. Do NOT use them. Avoid the hassles they have caused me. They are just not worth it. read more

Walked in their shop the other day. Had an appointment to get an estimate, Nice looking shop with a clean modern shop front. Unfortunately there was a guy named John on the phone with a customer and he was screaming at him. His tone and attitude on the phone was most unprofessional. After listening to his LOUD rant, constantly cutting off the caller and obviously not trying to understand the issue, he abruptly said "this conversation is over" and hung up on the guy. Is that the way Chandler treats all its customers? Well the next situation was two girls waiting for them to look at an issue they had with a repair. It was already very uncomfortable after being forced to listen to John's unprofessional phone conversation, but how he treated these young ladies was shameful. From what they said they had had over $8000 of repairs done to their car and the tech had forgot to reconnect something that was now not working. As a prospective patron, this is A BIG red flag for poor quality control. To John it was no big deal, like this happens all the time. Again his attitude was like they were annoying him by bringing him a problem. I decided then and there to take my car elsewhere. I have no idea if John is a owner, sales rep or the brother-in-law of the president of an insurance company but he acts like a total JERK and gives the whole business a bad reputation. I can not recommend Chandler Collision Center in Columbia because of JOHN!!!! read more

So I ended up making a Yelp account just so I could give Chandler's a 5 star review! I had my first accident which required some extensive repairs. I had no idea where to start and I worried about being ripped off by a random auto center but Chandler's turned out to be an excellent choice (recommended by my insurance company). They quoted me under my original insurance estimate, completed repairs 5 days ahead of schedule (a true lifesaver since I was paying for a rental out of pocket), and kindly walked me through the repair & insurance process. Picking my car up was a breeze since they coordinated with the rental center- I was able to leave it on-site and go about my day with a beautifully repaired car. Aside from efficient and thorough repairs, their staff was very friendly and courteous (Heather graciously answered all my crazy questions!) and consistently kept me updated with phone calls throughout the process. Hopefully I won't be visiting them again soon but they did a fantastic job! A week later, I also received a card in the mail thanking me for my patronage, signed by Robert Chandler. I am a contractor and was called to go out and look at their equipment. I sent them a bill and they refused to pay or should I say they just don't respond to me. I don't know about their service but as a business and people, I would say they are not very respectable. read more

STATE FARM INSPECTION: Came here to get my vehicle inspected after a collision. The woman who inspects my car was warm and pleasant. I would give her service five stars. Excellent. But, sitting in the office waiting, one of the men in the office spent the majority of my time there making unprofessional and sexual comments with his coworker. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome sitting in the office. I have no interest in coming here again. read more

My 2016 Smart has been to Chandler's Collision Center twice for repair: the first time, someone backed into my parked orange car and the left-front-fender damage was nominal, but their insurance paid the bill; and the second time the left rear corner was damaged in a parking-lot incident and my repair was over $1,000 and went through insurance. I picked Chandler's the second time, based on their excellent work the first time. I echo other comments about Chandler's clean shop, competitive pricing, and general professionalism. The quality of their repairs is high. My only negative point is the speed of repairs: the first repair was estimated by Chandler's to require two days and actually took four. The second one was insurance-company estimated at two days and Chandler's suggested five, but I had to wait three weeks for an appointment to be taken in and then had to leave it with them eleven days including one weekend when they were closed. Obtaining the correct OEM parts and challenging the insurance adjuster were given as justifications for the time delay. I hope not to be back for awhile but would use Chandler's shop again. read more

I have had the most amazing experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know. My repairs were completed faster than they had anticipated - they arranged for a shuttle to take me to Enterprise to pick up the rental car - they called me to keep me informed of every step along the way - they made arrangements for Enterprise to pick up the rental from their location for me - cleaned the inside of my car, and even dusted the dashboard and radio knobs... oh yeah, and they fixed my bumper too. The gentleman who I worked with was very professional and I can just not say enough good things about him and their business. Highly recommend!! read more

He also helpfully explained how to work with the insurance and shared that I could pick up and drop off a rental through Enterprise on site. Sweet! Stacie kept me updated daily on text regarding my repair progress. When I picked up my car, it looked like new and was even cleaner than when I dropped it off. Very happy customer.
