Excellent service, great food (burger), the breakfast looked great, and best of all, Bob Ross on the tube next to Oregon football. Only in Eugene! That's Oregon cool. I'm a Penn State guy, and they made me feel very welcome. They busted my chops, but a very friendly environment. Thank you.

2 ground beef hard tacos, 1 chicken soft taco, and a Kona Big Wave.

Came during happy hour on a Tuesday. Got 3 tacos and a beer for $10. Wait staff was super friendly. Food came fast! Super chill atmosphere.

sorry, ik what i said was rude

First of all, the lady was nice. We ordered biscuits and gravy and it was... ehhhh... We got our food and it seemed fine at first. But when we opened the bag there was NO FORKS?!?!? What do you think we are??? Beasts?!?!? My brother said it smelled like barf. It didn't, but it still smelled weird. the bread was weird and crumbly and the gravy was also strange tasting. At least it came with napkins, though! But seriously, I'm sure others love the biscuits and gravy that you serve. This is just my opinion, obviously. I hope the people that work there have an amazing day! bye lol

$16 fish & chips basket (- 1 piece size of top piece)

Came in for fish and chips to go. Google maps menu showed $13, yet my bill showed $16. Bartender said the menu just changed items and prices Monday and Google menu would be updated. Got back home and opened containers and both servings were kid size. Thin cut fish, short pieces, and mostly batter. So disappointing! I would expect 4 tiny pieces for a kids menu, but not a full basket of food. Plus the price is ridiculous! Fish tasted dry and not much flavor other than batter. Tater tots were cold, home is less than a mile away from restaurant and we picked it up when finished. NOT going back

We really wanted to check this place out because this location has had many changes of ownership. We are hoping this one sticks around for a while because we believe it's a great addition to this area of town. Also, because it is walking distance from our friend's house and we have all already expressed how excited we are to make the trek once Summer hits. The space is huge. Big enough to house several billiards tables, a huge central bar, and booths and table seating lining the walls. The evening we visited I only got a boring beer. But I am looking forward to returning with said friends to sample their fully stocked bar and also order something from their kitchen. This would also be a good spot to watch a sporting event at if you are in to that sort of thing.

Chicken pozole soup! GET IT! Take some HOME too!

I randomly came into this spot today! And I sure did pick a great day to come in! They had a chicken verde pozole soup that has great flavor! The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms too! My bartender is great even though she's clearly busy. Attentive, doesn't mess up orders... and is ready to pounce on people that shouldn't be here! (Great asset) kandie is your gal!

The chips and queso were decent but the reason im giving 5 stars is because the buffalo chicken wrap was seriously so good!

With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.

It was thick slab corned beef, perfectly tender. I also got their pretzel with the beer cheese sauce. To be honest, the beer cheese wasn't my favorite...was a little gooopy and the texture wasn't great. But, the pretzel was fantastic. It has the salt, the chew, and it was a great size. I also got their colcannon. It was great! Creamy and delicious. I ordered their brown gravy too because I like gravy with my potatoes and it was hearty and a big side for the price. All in all, i definitely recommend the pint pot!

Big City Gaming and Home Team Kitchen- 4 stars…read more Big City Gaming is a Sports Bar in Eugene. I went here on the 4th of July which is hella less annoying than 4th of July in the Mission in SF aka my hood. So my beloved Lotus Garden aka vegan Chinese food that is fab that I would frequent in the day when in lived in Eugene was closed on the 4th despite their website saying they were open and walked there to find out they only are currently doing take out. Damn like Kendrick Lamar So I walk back to Big City Gaming and the friendly bartender tells me that they have an all vegetarian menu even though it isn't pure veg aka they have non veg too. It's all good baby, baby. I am starving after walking heaps in the hard sun like Eddie Vedder. So I get some water and check out the all veg menu. Upon the bartender's suggestion I go with the jackfruit tacos. They were quite alright aka two corn tortillas filled with generous portions of fajita style grilled jackfruit, topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and our signature avocado crema sauce sprinkled with queso fresco. I decided to add vegan crema and non-dairy cheese for a buck. It hit the spot. I did feel like a fish out of water with all the screens showing baseball as basketball is my jam. I am a huge Warriors fan and sad we lost Donte yet he is going to the Knicks. Cool atmosphere with screens for sports and games such as shooting basketballs in the hoop etc. Recommended for sports night!

We initially planned to go to Level Up but they were closed for a private event so we went here instead. The TVs were all showing the same UFC fight but it kept us entertained during lulls in the conversation. The bartender was nice and got our drinks to us quickly. The place was clean and wasn't too loud even though there were some other people there drinking and talking too. The drinks were good but we didn't get any food so I can't speak to that at all. There are two bathrooms so there can be a line when there are a lot of people, so time your trip wisely. There's no parking lot since it's downtown, but there's a decent amount of street parking. There's also a paid lot a block east of the bar, it's a 24/7 paid lot so there are probably better options that are free after a certain time. While we didn't plan to go here initially, I'm glad we did. It felt like a safe space for myself and my queer friends and we genuinely had a good time.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak with poached eggs and gravy on the side (because I planned on taking half home and wanted to preserve the breading on the steak). The biscuit was decent, but the flavor of the gravy and the steak brought it all together. The quality reminded me of another sports bar here in Bend that has really good breakfast/brunch foods. I can't really speak to the other dishes but my wife and daughter were very happy with their French Toast and Waffle. I'd def stop back in if I was in the area.

That is the whole point of the sandwich; there's no point to getting it otherwise. It's a HUGE pet peeve of mine to have to check the bag when picking up an order, and I usually forget to do it--as was the case this time, and only when I was home and my sister asked for the jus did we find it was missing. So she then had to go pick up the jus, which was a 20 minute round trip so the sandwiches were cold by that time. I have to say that I was a little surprised that they didn't even offer an extra side of fries or anything for this issue. And it was lucky my sister was here and offered to go pick it up because I would not have been able to pack up my toddler to return to the restaurant for that. The Brussels sprouts were pretty good, as we ordered that for an appetizer. Mom had the fish and chips, and while she said they were fine, she also was surprised that they didn't have a lot of flavor. She was expecting a better batter. They have a children's menu, which was a surprise because when I had originally been looking at their menu online I was expecting to have to order a full entree for my daughter. It was only when I placed the order--which I had to do online; it seems like they don't take orders over the phone--that the children's menu was revealed. I was really looking forward to giving this place a shot and I left a bit underwhelmed. I may come back if circumstances dictate, but I won't make a beeline to return.
