This café is absolutely adorable! I was referred to the spot by a friend, and I was so sad when I had to just grab and go. I would've loved to do some work here but my busy schedule unfortunately did not allow it. The spot is right off of Queens Boulevard, so you might have a tough time parking, but it's well worth it. This café isn't large, but there's some seating here. The inside decor is really comforting and warm and there is also some seating outside as well. I was absolutely starving so I asked the person behind the counter if they had any suggestions. After quickly going over the sandwich selection I decided to go with their salami sandwich. This sandwich usually has avocado but they were all out. I really appreciated them letting me know right off the bat and asking if I wanted to substitute any ingredients instead of the avocado. I went with some arugula as it's one of my favorite sandwich ingredients. The sandwich was awesome! The salami was great quality and the sandwich was warmed up which allowed the cheese to melt slightly. No pictures available because as I said I was starving and completely devoured the whole sandwich. It also came with a side salad which was very nice and a great surprise. Chakra cafe My first visit to this cafe was pretty good. I looked through Yelp pretty good reviews, there were desserts so I decided to come by here today to try the desserts. I thought they had baklava and Turkish delight on that menu but the lady at the front said she didn't have all of it what I was showing to her on yelp. I was already full having lunch in the area. I wanted to try the pistachio cake and oreo cake that other people talked about it on yelp but didn't had the chance too today. I also ordered their smoothie. The tropical they didn't had it so got the acai smoothie and berry smoothies. Both of the smoothies are worth the price and was good. The desserts I got each one of them were too sweet, I believe it was turkish desserts. It was my first time trying and it wasn't as bad beside the sweetness. Best iced latte in Sunnyside! They have an amazing variety of food options and all their veggies are super fresh. Their patio is very relaxing however it does get crowded on summer weekends- come early. Highly recommend this spot. read more

I almost forgot to post this review. Being busy is good but being forgetful is not. I love this place! This is an early breakfast place for those early birds. The coffee is excellent, and the breakfast menu is incredible! There's a lot to choose from. I had bagel and lox to go a few times before, and I must say that capers and onions they include in a bagel make this the best bagel I've ever had in NY. The onion is not raw but pickled onion. This time I came for breakfast, and I had avocado toast. I loved my avocado toast! They served this with a side of nice house salad on a wooden plate. I liked the dish! Pier 1? Amazon? The avocado was fresh, topped with a good egg on a piece of excellent multigrain bread. Perfect! I do this at home too. So, if you see me not yelping, I may be making some fantastic dishes at home or making calls to restaurants (what's the special tonight's?) Ordered for the first time from here this past Tuesday. Ordered breakfast (ocean bagel, white choc latte & a chicken sandwich) I was hungry, don't judge me lol. Anyway. The food was amazing! The best part though was the sweet message on the packaging. Totally didn't expect it but it was such a nice touch. Definitely will order from here again (actually just placed another order). Was hopeful for this quaint new spot in Sunnyside. Came in for a quick lunch with a friend. The space is on the small side but we managed to fit a stroller by our two-person table and there was a table of 6 across from us. The counter guy was very nice and brought our plates to us but there may have been a communication issue because the avocado toast we ordered was missing the egg. The harmony sandwich was on the dry side and the salad that came with it had a couple unfresh tomatoes. The chakra smoothie was okay but not what I was expecting - it was thinner than what I thought a smoothie would be and mildly flavored. Lunch was on the pricey side for what we ordered and a bit underwhelming but was salvaged by the yelp offer items. The free Turkish coffee and Turkish delight was the saving grace of the visit. First time coming here after walking by SO many times. I feel silly for wasting my time at the other surrounding "trendy" cafes in the area because this one can't be beat. Their food selection is so good (very vegetarian friendly!) and is an incredibly reasonable price! I got a scone and the Chakra specialty bagel. The bagel was great and to top it off, the owner gave me and my mom free baklava that was super delicious. I also enjoyed a hazelnut iced latte. I will definitely come back again! This is a hidden gem that I'm glad I found! It's right off of 46th st. Stop so it's easy to get to. It's such a cute little atmosphere inside the cafe and they offer heated/covered outdoor seating. Good coffee but extremely slow service. Two visits in a row I ordered a regular hot coffee with milk. The first time, the man took my order and communicated it to his coworker who was making the beverages. She was dawdling and after 5 mins of waiting I asked the man about my coffee and he reminded her again. She kept walking back and forth between the coffee machine and reading my receipt as if it was a complicated order. The second time I ordered my basic hot coffee. The woman who took my order got distracted making a salad - there were 3 workers making food while I waited almost 10 mins for my coffee. When I asked about it the woman who took my order just glanced at me and continued making the salad. The man came to the register and served it. Bless him. I want to start by saying that the staff here is great and very attentive and personable. If you come here, don't get anything other than a bagel. The smoothies are basically just milk. The eggs in the sandwiches are hard boiled!!!!!!!! The avocado toast was reasonably priced with a number of choices for add-ons. It was fresh and came with a side salad with light oil and vinegar dressing.
