Blue Matcha Latte Iced Latte White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie
    Billy C.

Decided to stop here for a break! We needed some caffeine! A nice cafe with some of that classy casual vibes. We sat in the shaded outdoor seating. Got that summer breeze rolling in on a warm day. We had the Blue Matcha Latte, Ice Latte and White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie. The blue matcha was so pretty to look at. But it only tasted like milk. Not sweet, little to no matcha flavor. The ice latte here was great! The coffee here is tasty and deep in flavor. The cookie was delicious! Great texture, not overly sweet. A good treat!

    Solid branding!

Rare coffee shop that has parking! Already popular due to it being a second location here in Astoria. I arrived at around 1:15pm on a Monday and the outdoor seating (about 26 seats) was completely full. There was no line and I waited maybe a grand total of 1 minute for my hot matcha latte (in a to go cup, with no fancy design on top). Could not help but notice that the pastry display was 2/3rds empty. Maybe they had a big rush or they are still trying to figure out demand for this location. Very chill vibe. Enjoyed the coffee house music.

Spanakopita & Almond Croissant. GOOD. Ordered a couple of Baked Goods with no complaints about their freshness or taste. RECOMMEND.

    Greek Frappe 24oz

Wow what a great cafe! So happy I decided to venture in this newly opened coffee shop which has multiple locations. There is a coffee bar and a market side with a lot of Greek specialty items, pastries and a very friendly staff on both sides. Since I was feeling kind of hungry but not too hungry I got a cheese pie which the lady called a koulourotiropita, which was basically a Koulouri with cheese in it! So good! Then I had to try a Frappe which was also delicious. The inside is modern and clean, there is outside seating plus some parking spots. Would definitely return!

Great drinks, food is fresh and very tasty. Place is very inviting. Quick and efficient service. Im a fan.

Poorly designed layout with not enough seating ruins the whole experience. While our hot pastries were good, having to sit in semi out door dining on a freezing day was not a bright idea on their part. It looks like this location was an afterthought to the one by 31st Avenue. ALL IN ALL not the best of experiences on this coffee shop. Shame on them!!

Tuna sandwich was $18, soup was $18. There were two sizes of soups and she didn't ask which one we wanted and then gave us a huge one, which is clearly another meal's worth. She didn't itemize the charges until we asked and it still sounded wrong. She said "oh I won't charge you for the bread," and we didn't even ask for bread, it just came with the soup. She messed up our orders, we both asked for cheese, and she gave only one of us cheese, and then they were the same made up price. She clearly was messing up other people's orders as well thinking a girl got a coffee when she actually got a smoothie (though I will give her credit that she clarified and did get her the smoothie). When the girl asked for it to go the woman was actually mad about it and it was like the girl had to justify getting it to go. On top of all this the place was kind of dirty and disorganized and it was very difficult to communicate with her. The food was actually pretty good and at first I thought I'd like to come back to try her pastries or something, but there's no way I'm going through all this crap to get them. If her business practices were honest I would come back, but they aren't. I'm not usually one to take issue with service and such--I'll go to the grungiest hole in a wall in the world and love it--but this was messed up. This whole experience made me doubt everything--she claimed the bread was homemade, the mayo was homemade, everything was organic--given everything else I am extremely skeptical of that. I regret not having the bravery to confront her about all this and instead just paying up like a schmuck. Can't believe this place is rated so highly. Just go to the deli next door.

It's super Instagrammable, I love the seats situated within the heart and all of the flowers and greenery in this place. There are a few limited food options, but overall this is a cafe that also serves beer and wine (and the occasional frose, yay). Almost all of the times I've been in here (save for this last time) service is fast and friendly - but on my last visit the guy seemed like he was struggling to get orders out and keep the line moving. There were two folks ahead of me and the first one had multiple orders, so I figured there'd be a bit of a wait. Around 15 minutes later or so it was my turn to order, and I asked about the teas. The iced options were either sweetened with caffeine, or unsweetened without caffeine - I'd been hoping for something iced and unsweetened. When I asked about green tea he said he had none made, but didn't offer making it for me as an option. We awkwardly stood there for a few moments more as I waited to see if he might say this was something he could do. Eventually I cut my losses and said thanks anyway.
