Solid branding!

Rare coffee shop that has parking! Already popular due to it being a second location here in Astoria. I arrived at around 1:15pm on a Monday and the outdoor seating (about 26 seats) was completely full. There was no line and I waited maybe a grand total of 1 minute for my hot matcha latte (in a to go cup, with no fancy design on top). Could not help but notice that the pastry display was 2/3rds empty. Maybe they had a big rush or they are still trying to figure out demand for this location. Very chill vibe. Enjoyed the coffee house music.

Spanakopita & Almond Croissant. GOOD. Ordered a couple of Baked Goods with no complaints about their freshness or taste. RECOMMEND.

Greek Frappe 24oz

Wow what a great cafe! So happy I decided to venture in this newly opened coffee shop which has multiple locations. There is a coffee bar and a market side with a lot of Greek specialty items, pastries and a very friendly staff on both sides. Since I was feeling kind of hungry but not too hungry I got a cheese pie which the lady called a koulourotiropita, which was basically a Koulouri with cheese in it! So good! Then I had to try a Frappe which was also delicious. The inside is modern and clean, there is outside seating plus some parking spots. Would definitely return!

Great drinks, food is fresh and very tasty. Place is very inviting. Quick and efficient service. Im a fan.

Poorly designed layout with not enough seating ruins the whole experience. While our hot pastries were good, having to sit in semi out door dining on a freezing day was not a bright idea on their part. It looks like this location was an afterthought to the one by 31st Avenue. ALL IN ALL not the best of experiences on this coffee shop. Shame on them!!

Came here on a weekday early afternoon to grab a drink. The place is cute, has a shop inside. Seems…read morelike it is a chill place but I do not know if I would come back. I ordered the ginger honey drink and it was made with little chunks of ginger. The drink was ok, the popping Boba not a fan of personally especially when I didn't ask for it. The service was a bit slow when there were only 3 customers ordering and a few stragglers sitting around. It took over 15 minutes for me to receive my drink. Definitely try it out, other items might be better.

The decor is absolutely stunning, filled with cultural touches that make the entire space feel immersive and welcoming. It's spacious too, which makes it perfect for working or just hanging out. I'm so glad we decided to check this place out! * Butter Tea ($3.15) This was my first time trying butter tea, and wow, it was delicious. Served piping hot, it had a rich, slightly salty taste, like sipping on warm, salted butter in the best way possible. If you've never tried butter tea before, this is the place to do it. 5/5 * Banana Lassi ($4.80) The presentation was adorable -- the little umbrella on top was such a cute touch! While the lassi was refreshing, it leaned a bit watery for my taste. Still, it was enjoyable. 4/5 The prices here are more than fair for what you're getting, and the man at the front was super helpful, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a cozy space to relax or a unique spot to get work done (hello, free WiFi), I highly, highly recommend visiting Arya Cafe. 5 stars!!

Astoria

Honestly this is my favorite spot in Astoria/LIC for matcha and in my top 5 for NYC without a…read moredoubt. The outside might not strike you as a cafe as they have dark tinted windows of very minimalist design and just the word 'verse' printed in white. When you walk in the cafe has some seating and most people were on laptops working. It's a very lowkey vibe with calm music playing in the background. The highlight are the seasonal drinks! I first came when they had the persimmon matcha and I was MINDBLOWN- can't wait for it to come back. This time I went and grabbed the earl grey lavender matcha and the strawberry matcha both delicious. The flavor of matcha is rich and good. Would highly encourage you to try it out. Friend said the strawberry matcha was one of the best she ever had. From what I know as well they make all their jams and purees fresh in house! The matcha is at a bit of a hefty price tag of $8 just about after tax but in my option -- worth it! Unfortunately don't have the pic of the persimmon matcha but it was the star out of all 3.

The hype is absolutely real, the matcha here is incredible…read more Setting: Bright cafe with seating (but gets full quickly) and a long line. Service: Quick, kind, and efficient. The lines are long though - I waited 20 mins. for this matcha! Drinks: I ordered the Iced matcha einspanner (with whole milk); the earthy matcha was delicately complemented by the lightly sweet, thick einspanner cream.
