Chaca Tea Bar serves more than tea. I have been by here a bunch of times and it always seemed empty and slow. I was wrong! When we had our drinks there, I thought we'd have a quiet time to enjoy our drinks and visit. There were a ton of people, in and out of that place. The baristas are very quick! While the line queued up, the through put was fast. Based on our visit, don't let a long line discourage you from ordering. When ordering notice their Modifications sign. You can choose from several options of sugar and ice content. A nice touch for the health conscience. My go-to is a coffee latte Frappuccino. This was good: the coffee flavor readily came through, was blended well and smooth but not chunky, and had the right amount of milk. Our next 2 drinks we ordered from the Chaca Top 10 menu board: a great way to be introduced to new drinks. We had the No. 1 Milk Tea /w Boba and No.6 Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea. We liked both, and both drinks looked like their pictures in the menu board. Both had ample Boba pearls. The Boba had the right amount of chew and a hint of honey flavor. The No. 1 Milk Tea had a more pronounced green tea flavor. The Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea had a more muted flavor with the Caramel. It was sweeter and saltier. The background music was what you'd expect at a coffee/tea place. But the mixers were a bit loud, if you're having a constant conversation. read more

My family and I come get Boba here every Tuesday. This Tuesday we missed it due to work but we came in on Thursday because my 5 year old loves this place and was begging me to take her. When we started coming here years ago, we would always asked if the strawberry slushy had a dairy in it due to food allergies my daughter has. We eventually stopped asking because she always gets the same thing and we know it's made with water. On Thursday we ordered our usually drinks but this time I brought one of my employees with me and she ordered a drink with dairy. I was watching the worker make the drinks and noticed she pick up a rag that was sitting on the counter and wiped my employees drink with it and then used the same rag to wipe down my daughters. I asked her to remake my daughters due to allergies so she did. She then walked over to me and said, Next time let the employee know about your daughter's food allergies because how are we suppose to know! I looked at her and said, You forgot the Boba. She started to laugh but not because it was funny, more of a pissed off laugh that she needed to remake it. Another young later came over to help her who we see all the time when we go in. After they made her drink, I asked the girl what her name was because I was to say Thank you for remaking it and I figured she was new and wanted to tell her we have all been new in a job and it was ok. She then stood tall, placed her hand on her hip and said GISELLE! With lots of attitude. I told her she didn't need to be rude to us because I was just trying to thank her. For me. I didn't want to react in front of my daughter or employee but I wanted to tell her that's not how to speak to people, especially customers who come in often. I was very disgusted because I own a business and my employees know never to use the same rag twice especially if the items are not the same. After we walked out, we saw the two ladies looking at us and talking which made me feel very uncomfortable. I emailed the owners and asked for a phone call which I never received. Not going to lie I was a bit skeptical coming here because it seemed like another coffee joint trying to do boba, but this place ended up being really great!
