Great Thai spot! It's located in the corner of a plaza. The restaurant isn't too big, but there's a few tables. They offer a lunch special on weekdays. They have a big menu with different soups, noodles, rice, and appetizers. I got the Thai fried rice and the pad see ew. The fried rice portion was huge! Good thing I split with my friend. The pad see ew noodles and flavors were delicious and packed with beef and broccoli. The servers were friendly, but not too attentive. I'd say this is a pretty nice Thai spot with reasonable price!

I order takeout from here every once in a while and it always hits the spot. My dad loves the ground pork and I enjoy the pad see ew. Service for pickup is quick as well!

Our family #1 thai food place in the area! This is a small mom and pop thai restaurant, i think the family runs it. You can feel the care and heart that they put into their dishes, almost like home cooked meals. We absolutely enjoy their thai fried rice, pad see yew, yum woon sen.... Spicy catfish and of course the tom kha soup... just thinking of those makes me hungry lol Service is nice but could be a bit busy during lunch and dinner hours, but that's a good sign, who wants to go to an empty restaurant anyway ;)

Pad see ew (lunch special) so good!!

A hidden gem! Cozy and unassuming but very delicious and affordable. The lunch special price is such a good deal. I even had leftover to eat for dinner! Usually when I get pad see we at other places, it's kinda mid. But i thought the one here was very delicious! My husband got pad Thai and said to make it VERY spicy and they delivered... to the point where it was too spicy. And his spice tolerance is extremely high. So if you're going to ask for different level of spice, beware! The eggrolls were also very good! Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely return when I stop by Cerritos to get TP Tea!

Had lunch here the other day with a couple friends, solid experience. We kept it simple with their Thai fried rice, three different plates of it, and a side order of orange chicken. If the chicken had a little more crisp to it, for sure it would likely be the best orange chicken around. The fried rice came on plates capable of feeding two, very generous portions. The two waiters who assisted us during our dine-in experience were phenomenal! Very friendly, checked up on every table regularly, and kept an efficient flow of service from the kitchen to dining room. Definitely an old school restaurant but well kept, gives a comfortable and quiet family setting. If I am not mistaken, this is the longest standing facility of this little Cypress complex.

I have found my new favorite Thai restaurant! Chaba hits all the marks in-terms of what it takes to be a favorite. A small mom-and-pop operation, friendly service and fresh, tasty food. I've had both their green curry and their Pad Kee Mao. Both were delicious. What makes the difference? Fresh, crisp vegetables, and food that comes to you hot. Watch the spice levels though. I like really spicy, and the medium heat level was just right. Simple, appropriate atmosphere, easy parking and reasonable prices completed my experience. Looking forward to future visits and more menu picks!

We were craving Thai food after leaving Knott's Berry Farm and we found Chaba on Yelp. It did not disappoint! The crispy pork with Chinese broccoli was one of the most delicious I have ever had. They do not skimp on the eggrolls! The pad se ew was nice and beefy. Very nice portions and we are excited for leftovers the next day. We will definitely come back.

Cozy spot with nice Thai decor and attentive service. I appreciate that they don't water down the flavors--they're not shy with the spice, similar to Thai Town in LA. The pad Thai noodles are al dente, but a bit too sweet for me. Loved the panang curry, even the mild has a kick--just wish there was more sauce. The pork Thai jerky is tasty and comes with a spicy dipping sauce. Always busy with takeout orders, but still a chill dining vibe. Good energy all around.

I was craving thai food and came across Chaba on Yelp. so thankful i tried - it's a hidden GEM. YALL. need, no must try this combo - tom kha soup (mild), pad thai, and pineapple fried rice. it was so authentic, creamy, flavorful, and just SPECTACULAR. I was worried the coconut flavor in the tom kha soup would be strong but nope - it had the perfect amount of coconut - it's my FAVORITE dish from here. I ordered take out and it was amazing. Can't imagine how much better it'll be in the restaurant! definitely visiting again! free spacious parking, friendly staff, clean facilities, lots of seating

    Thai ice tea, of course!

Thai nakorn use to be my go too spot for Thai food for the longest time, over the past few years…read moreIve stop coming due to the quality and taste. I decided to give thai nakorn another chance. I came on a Monday during lunch at opening time. i Saw that they have updated their menu as well as having a happy hour menu. I opted for the regular entree, I was deciding between the pad thai and street style pad thai, the waitress told me the pad thai was more like ketchup while the street style pad thai was more traditional with tamarind sauce, and has more of a tangy sauce. I opted for the street style pad thai with chicken n shrimp. The street style pad thai portion size was good, lots of tofu and good amount of chicken and 2 pieces of shrimp. It was saucy and wasn't dry, the pad thai flavor was definitely on the tangy side, personally preference I prefer my pad thai to be a bit more sweet, but still overall a solid Pad thai 4/5. I would want to come back and try the regular pad thai or even the happy hour menu during lunch time.

But her service wasn't attentive.... I had to flag her down multiple times and for a long time and the other server noticed and came to take over for her multiple times.. Busser dude was more attentive than my server, too attentive, BUT cmon ... we're still eating and he keeps trying to take our plates to clear it... doesn't wait till we're done he comes every time an entree plate is done but our plates would still be full... so I had to keep telling him we're not done.. I dont want your unsanitized hands touching my plate.. I know you're doing your job, but a little patience would be nice. This place has an open space in a big open lot; I used to come here time to time over the years but 10 year ago was way better and it was a hit. Came here to celebrate Mother's Day; the food was good at least, but nothing special. I've had better honestly. Came here excited because it's been a few years, we left with our taste pallet missing something. (I ordered a couple more entrees that weren't in my pics, the Thai Nakorn Fried Rice & Pad Thai) Food 3.5/5... Service 2.5/5.

Service is always excellent I have no problems I always get what I need and my orders always right. It's a no frills hole in the wall establishment. I have perfected my order and it is always the same - beef pad se ew: delicious, piping hot, garlicky flavorful, beef is a little chewy but it's fine the noodles shine with the Chinese veggies -crispy fried rice: legit in this name crispy, chewy, refreshing paired with salad and ask for some chili fish sauce drizzle it on top delicious bites! -pork jerky: chewy, salty, flavorful but I don't care for the sauce it comes in sells out often get it while you can! It's a lot of food often I have to take a little bit togo but the portion size isn't always consistent so keep that in mind if you are with a larger party. Honorable mentions: Papaya salad is good they have 2 styles get the one that has a crab o watch out though get medium or mild it can be very spicy if you can't handle it. Recently tried the boat noodles and it was interesting very large and filling lots of noodles and toppings. Loved the fried shallots taste and texture it added you smell tom yum but it doesn't taste like it at all very unique taste I don't know what to compare it to. Try it if you want to try something fun and new.
