Decent coffee in this Colombian coffee shop. They had a nice space where there were pens out to do some doodling. The barista made an Americano. It was strong with a bit of bitter bite to it. I liked the combo with the coconut water to mellow it out. I usually drink this at home when I make jt. The snacks looked good but had a bit across the way at The Bao Spot.
Great place in downtown Orlando! The Farmer's latte was so good, perfect light sweetness and loved the clove & cinnamon taste that was present. My husband tried a dirty chai latte and ordered it a little less sweet and it was also perfect. The ladies helping us were super nice and helpful. We also tried a chicken arepa with plantain chips that we really enjoyed though typically we like arepas a little less dense. The only item we tried that we didn't love was the guava pastry. Def recommend this place!
CFS is definitely a treat serving up unique dishes and beverages in downtown Orlando. The food was a 9/10 and here's why... their unique take on the yuca waffle was delicious but because of its decadence it took away from the typical waffle crunch and resulted in a more chewy bite. It was still flavorful and yummy but that part needs to be improved. The works omelette was the star for our breakfast. It tastes 1000% better than it looks and that was great! Rosie, our server was incredible and offered up excellent service with wonderful suggestions that made the experience what it was. Be sure to check it out. You won't regret it. CFS is tucked away in a little corner but when you make your way in this cute hidden gem, you'll be happy that you stopped by. Enjoy!
First time coming here and it's cute but the flavors lacked for me. I ordered a dulce de leche latte and a chai latte. Both tasted watered down and lacked flavor. The latte art was super cute! The mugs were adorable. But I couldn't get over the fact both drinks didn't taste like much. I got a yogurt parfait which was actually really good! A little pricey, if I recall it was $11 but it was still good. I also got a egg and avocado croissant which was good. I don't eat meat so I opted out of any meat options but it definitely needed something more to it. So I'm sure with meat it would have been great! Parking is a huggggeeeeee pain. It's right in downtown so you either get lucky and find street parking or find a parking lot/garage near by. But who wants to pay $15-$25 for parking for a $10 latte?? Overall, it's a 3/5 for me. Service was great. Parking and lack there of taste is a make or break for me.
This is definitely the worst coffee shop and service I've ever had. I was excited at first to check in on Yelp and be awarded a free, medium Americano coffee. I showed it to the lady at the counter and she didn't understand. So she called her manager and her manager told her no. No, they will not accept the free offer that they advertise the Yelp. I should've known then to just walk away and try something else but it's a true foodie as a true foodie food lover, I still wanted to give it a chance. The ambiance and atmosphere was nice and seemed like a place I would definitely come to meet a friend and chat for a while. So I ordered an iced farmers coffee , she asked if I wanted milk and I asked if she had anything dairy free and she said no only afterwards that I realize that they actually do have dairy free options. I asked for the coffee to be iced and it came out piping hot and hot cup. Really don't know how many other things could have gone wrong in a five minute exploration of a new coffee shop. And on top of that the farmers coffee does not taste good. I will definitely never be coming or recommending this place to others.
I decided to return to CFS to try their lunch menu and it was amazing! I got the Colombian arepa lunch. The arepa was filled with plantains, black beans, and tender beef. It also came with a size salad. I also enjoyed their plantain cake and an iced latte. Service was fast, the setting was relaxing, and everything was hearty and delicious!
We came for some coffee after a brunch we had downtown. There were a few people in front of us so it gave us some time to look over the menu. There were a lot of options, but we went with a hot dulce de leche latte and an iced pistachio latte. They were both pretty tasty, albeit, a little on the sweeter side. It took a little while for the order, but it seemed like there was only one staff member at the time. The place is cute and conveniently placed. They have a rewards program with a bunch of other locations. The prices are pretty high, but it makes sense considering their location.
If I could give no stars I would. 3 of my coworkers and I placed an online order around 11am for pickup at 1215pm. We arrived at 12:20 and received our drinks immediately. The lavender latte was delicious, it's worth mentioning they probably shouldn't have a full menu if they can't complete the orders in a timely manner. We received our order at 12:51 pm. The employee was not apologetic and lacked customer service entirely. Now let's get into the food, I ordered a steak and chimichurri sandwich with roasted potatoes. This sandwich was over $20 and looked to be worth $10. It had 2 small pieces of steak on each side. I've attached the picture. It lacked flavor and the steak was ridiculously tough. To top it all off it came with a total of 7 small roasted potatoes that tasted like literal air. I would never go again and would not recommend.
Very cozy vibes here. The coffee is great. Got the Farmer's Latte and it was perfectly sweetened for the coffee notes to come through. The food looks good as well but I did not have the chance to try. This place is a little tucked in, location wise. The service was good and helpful. I wish I could come back more often but street parking is limited in the area.
Cute coffee shop that offers breakfast/lunch options. Laura in the front is super sweet and accommodating. I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't comment on that, but the food was good.
This is a cute little coffee shop nestled on Church Street in downtown Orlando. The ambience and decor of the shop is nice. It's small, but has a decent amount of seating including a couple of outdoor tables. They have a case displaying various food items. We ordered a couple coffees, a cranberry apple tea, and three empanadas. The wait time seemed kind of long for what we ordered considering it wasn't busy at the time we were there. Two members of our group received their food and it seemed they had forgotten about my boyfriend's empanada since he had to remind them and show his receipt. He did then receive it after another short wait. The tea was tasty. The empanada was just okay; it looked better than it tasted in my opinion. I didn't try coffee on this visit, but my friends seemed to like theirs. The prices also seem a bit high for what you get, but I don't typically mind paying a little extra for good products at local spots. I just didn't find this spot to be outstanding so it wouldn't pop into my head as a first choice to go grab coffee or a snack. I'm not opposed to trying it again if I'm in the area, but wouldn't likely go out of my way to do so.
Love it here. The coffee is amazing. The atmosphere is so chill and relaxing. Any CFS is really a great coffee spot and definitely our favorite in Central Florida. Food is great, too. Lots of vegan options, as well, so anybody and everybody can come here and find something they'll love. Service is always pretty quick! Can't say enough good things. If you have a grinder at home, buy their coffee beans!! :)
This was my first time going to this coffee shop so I ordered my usual drink. I got an iced caramel latte with regular milk. It came in a mason jar so it was very cute, but unfortunately, the flavor was lacking. It was very watery and the caramel flavor was too artificial. They charged me extra for the flavored syrup, so I ended up paying $8 for a horrible drink. It sucks because the place has so much potential. They have an awesome menu and the barista was very nice. It's also a great location because it's right in donwtown Orlando. It's beautifully decorated, cozy and perfect for studing or working. However, there's no point in going if you can't enjoy a good coffee.
Reviews are generally positive. People highlight the cozy atmosphere, variety of drinks, and friendly staff. The menu features breakfast all day.

Excellent food at a good price, especially for the neighborhood. The coffee and tea were very good, and the breakfast dishes were excellent. We went for breakfast and the menu offers a range of traditional breakfast options to breakfast grain bowls. Our party had some of each and were all impressed. Order and pay at the counter, seat yourself and food is brought to your table. Seating is geared toward groups of 4 or less. It's a small shop that is quiet and comfortable- the kind of place you could sit and work or study for a while. A lot of folks came in for takeout coffee while we were there. read more

This was not a good experience and I am so so sad about it. I came for the beautiful lattes and was given the opposite. It at least tasted good however it took over AN HOUR AND A HALF to get my COFFEE!!!!! And over two hours later I still didn't get my arepa I ordered. They brought my friends food but never brought mine and somehow forgot about my food. And my friends finally got their lattes after waiting two hours. It's a small place so it shouldn't take that long. They did give me a refund but I really am very disappointed. It tastes good but not worth the wait. read more

Fighting the afternoon sleepiness I wondered into CFS hoping to grab a vanilla late. Looking at the display I saw a bunch of Colombian pastries and bakery items. "Is this place Colombian?", I asked. Yes! They all replied and we all cracked up in celebration. Had my coffee and a pandebono. They were both delicious. I would've preferred if the pandebono was heated in a toaster vs. a microwave but it was still pretty good. The place is nicely decorated with separate areas to chill and to work. I found this place via a great article about must-try coffee houses in the Orlando area. CFS Coffee is conveniently located off of church street next to the Mad Cow Theatre. We'll get to the coffee in a second, but first, I LOVED the menu here. It was Colombian, so lots of delicious food - like arepas! I got the Colombian Arepa, and it was absolutely yummy. To me, it tasted like a avocado chicken salad in a fresh arepa. They also had freshly baked desserts like chocolate cake, brownies and tiramisu-flavored dishes . Now the coffee: let's just say I was wired the rest of the day after drinking it ... I got the dirty chai iced. It was wonderful, but strong. I like my coffee strong, so I'm not complaining. At the time we went in, it was mid-afternoon and we had the place to ourselves. The interior is very cute. We enjoyed sitting in a corner of the cafe where there were some pillows and benches. Very cozy atmosphere. The restrooms were also clean, which is a plus! I'll definitely keep this on my list of places when I'm in the area. This would be a great spot to visit before seeing a show at the theatre. read more

Tried this place a few days ago after reading that, while the prices are a little higher, the food is fresh and worth it. I can confirm: both are true. Compared to other downtown eateries, this place more expensive. I got the build your own bowl and a drink and paid around $20 with tip. But, I got a LOT of food in that bowl and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My vegetables were fresh too, something hard to come by around here at times. I went around lunch time (1pm) and they went from being somewhat empty to a line of four or more very quickly. Because the food is fresh-cooked, this can cause a little bit of a wait. When my order took a little longer than expected due to the crowd and a kitchen mixup, they came and told me and even brought me another drink to make up for it! Overall: I thought it was definitely worth the price and I'm excited to go back to try other menu items. read more

Food is fairly tasty and healthy,, but not very generous for the price. Tropical chicken bowl is only 5 tiny pieces of mango and a couple strips of sauteed bell pepper. if they could adjust the quantity to something more reasonable this would be a decent value and meal option. read more

This place is mad cute! It is located right in the heart of downtown. Judging by the name of the coffee shop I was not expecting the flavor that the shop had. The decor inside was very latin inspired and the coffee felt authentic colombian. Most coffee shops nowadays assume that you're taking their drinks to go and give it to you in the paper cup and I really appreciated that I got my macchiatto in a beautiful cup and saucer with a cute face in it. The macchiatto itself was strong and nutty and really packed a punch. I also got a brownie from there. I feel like calling it a brownie does it a disservice, it was so decadent, rich, and melt in your mouth. It was the satisfaction I have been looking for every time I ordered a lava cake that I had never gotten until I had that brownie. Looks nice but way too sweet! Maybe some people like a sweetness overload but for me personally it ruins my experience. CFS is usually good so I don't want to knock it too much but I just was not expecting a supposedly non flavored frappe to be like eating a packet of sugar! I stumbled upon this little coffee shop while Downtown. It is decorated very beautifully with lots of art on the walls and cute little nooks to make yourself comfortable. I saw by the different Art and the food that they had that it looked to be a Colombian establishment. They had things like Arepa's and empanadas as part of their menu. TheyAlso had a wide variety of hot and cold coffee's. My daughter does not drink dairy and they had almond,coconut,soy and oat milk as options for her. She decided on the lavender coffee and I opted for a matcha latte With a blueberry muffin. We made herself comfortable in a cozy corner and Our beverages came out shortly. They were decorated so nicely. The barista let us know ahead of time that the oat milk was harder to make a design on but it was still pretty. My teddy bear on the matcha was so cute. My daughters lavender coffee was perfect. The lavender was not overpowering but added a nice subtle hint to the end of the drink. My Mach's latte was so so. It taste like mostly milk. The blueberry muffin was warmed and delicious. This is a great place to grab a hot or cold drink and a small bite. The service was fast and friendly and the environment is really the best part of it. read more

Honestly I love this place and location. I love that the vibe is quaint and cozy. I have had a variety of their Arepas and I find them to be fresh and delicious. They have a variety of caffeinated drinks to choose from. If you are looking for a real treat, treat yourself to a rainbow latte. The Rainbow Latte is absolutely delicious and you get to stare at some Rainbow art in your cup as you are sipping. If you need a pick me up, then you have found the right place. read more

Expensive splurge, but most fresh food share this same issue right? I really enjoyed my Açaí smoothie bowl, it was great tasting and filling with a good balance of toppings. The location is pretty cute as well, I very much enjoy all the Colombian tasteful decor. My coworker had the Venezuelan arepa which was really delicious but he stated it was small for the price paid. This is a very cosy place whether you want to bring your laptop to do some work or you are planning to hangout with a friend and have a good cup of coffee. The coffee is five star. The food is great too but I don't recommend the baked items in the fridge they weren't as fresh as food was. I had an avocado toast, it has a touch of lime which I really liked but my friend didn't. I also tried ham and cheese sandwich the bread was so fresh, I would choose another type of cheese but overall it was yum. For desert I had a chocolate cake and that's the reason I took one star off. The cake was so dry and seemed to be sitting in the fridge for a week. My friends ordered other food items and they all loved it. read more

I can't believe I've never been here before! 5 stars for really good food and a positive vibe inside the restaurant. I ordered the "create your own omelette" which is perfect for me, because I never seem to like eggs unless I can pick what goes into them! I chose roasted potatoes as my side, instead of the whole wheat toast, and these were like legit full potato slices, not crummy hash browns! I could tell that everything was freshly cooked and the ingredients were clean. The amount of food for under $10 was impressive. The inside has Colombian music playing which made for a calm, positive vibe. I'm not a coffee drinker, but they had tons and tons of options and I hear Colombian coffee is the best, so try it out! This millennial got her avocado toast fix at CFS! Was blown away by the transformation of this place when they decided to pull down the sheets covering the windows and finally show the gem that was hiding inside. They have quite a few breakfast and lunch items, plus some very delicious coffee. Overall, I feel like their prices could be a bit lower, but the quality you get is well worth it. I am really excited to see when they introduce wine to the menu :) read more

Finally found good Colombian coffee right on Church St! A beautiful atmosphere with Colombian art, soft Latin music playing, making an ideal cozy spot to study alone or bring friends. The staff and service are phenomenal - thank you Daniel and Jaime for making my visit, food and coffee so great! Farmers Choice Latte with oat milk was my favorite item I ordered. Not too sweet and a great rich flavor! I'll definitely be coming back regularly and really recommend for anyone that wants good coffee or is missing Latin America a little. read more
