We were looking for a bite while perusing the Mercado de Triana. Cervecería Loli was packed so we decided to give them a try.
We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (12:45pm) and managed to snag a table close to the bar. Food comes out extremely quick once you can get the attention of a waiter.
The menu is translated in English, although not described particularly well.
- Servicio y cubiertos (1,00€) - small piece of bread and breadsticks.
- Pulpo frito con pisto (3,90€) - grilled octopus was good.
- Ventresca de atún al pedro ximénez (3,80€) - tuna belly was nicely seared but not a good cut. Stringy pieces. Wouldn't order again.
- Zamburiñas (8,50€ for 1/2 plato) - delicious mini scallops in a garlic oil sauce. Fresh.
Good spot to grab fresh seafood at the market. read more
