Spin on filter loose in pan, all pan bolts finger tight with 2 missing, valve body bolts loose with one being 1 turn from coming out

Typical ram with a 68rfe went bad, after being 3 months past "100% will be fixed by then" it lasts 1 month (4,000ish miles) before the pump failed. Take it back in for warranty. Another 3 months and "it's fixed". 2 months later def pump goes out from def going bad due to sitting for a total of 6 months (should've drained it and that's on me) 4 months later I get it fixed and 10,000 miles later I have a transmission full of neutrals, drop the pan to find every bolt (that was still in there) finger tight, spin on filter sitting in the pan, valve body bolt 1 turn from coming out and the rest finger tight. 100/100 wouldn't let this chop shop even put air in my tires. 6k wasted. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP THEY CANT TIGHTEN BOLTS AND INSTALL USED PARTS!!!!!!

BEWARE!! BE AWARE!! BE INFORMED!! I have a '07 GMC Yukon RWD with 211k and the transmission finally gave out. Slipping 3-4th gear. I called several different places and called Certified Transmission November 9th and spoke w Wayne (owner). Wayne quoted a price of $1675 rebuilt w free tow and Diagnostic. I say thats a great deal. Say should only take 3-4 days. They arrive on Nov 10th and towed my Yukon. Which has the ever so common 4L60E transmission. November 12th Robert calls says I need a torque converter $500, servos $260 and oil $160. New total is $2800!! I say I don't want to do it, Robert then says tow and Diagnostics are $895!! I thought the tow and Diagnostics are free... Well I say you got me! Fix it. I'm not going to just give you $895. So a week goes by... then after a month I get a phone call from Robert saying the Yukon is ready. I turn in my rental car and go pick up the truck. Driving back home I notice something is wrong, it's still slipping 3&4 gear! I pull off the freeway and check the oil. Way overfilled. Took pics of the dipstick. I call the shop but it's Friday after 5pm so I left message. Wayne calls me back I tell him the issue he says well sometimes the oil gun needs to be recalibrate. To bring it back. I said it won't even drive in first now, the motor runs away. He said he'd get a tow truck out there to get it Monday. So now Robert calls a week later say yep its burned up. He said i had a TPS sensor fault the he forgot to tell me about and that hell get it fixed. I didnt have any TPS or Throttlebody issues before this. 3 more weeks go by and I get the call from Robert saying it's ready, Transmission has been redone and it's good to go. He says bring a tps sensor. I bought a TPS at Autozone went to his shop, my Yukon was parked outside the gate as it was FRIDAY PAST 5... Before I started the truck I changed the TPS sensor. Started it up and got it at operating temperature and checked fluid level. It was overfilled about a quart this time which is good for a 2nd "fresh" rebuild. started to drive down the street from Certified and the transmission was slipping in 1-2nd then again in 3-4th. I drove it back down the street to Certified Transmission and parked it in front of their driveway gate. When I tried to back up the transmission had a really bad grinding feel/noise. I didnt drive it this time no more than one mile. Called and left message on AM. Wayne called me back and said he put my truck in the gate. I don't know if Wayne is aware of Robert's business tactics. He told me he is going to get personally involved in my situation. So my truck is going on 2 months at Certified transmission shop. Another week goes by and Robert says he's going to have a tuner come by the shop and retune my Yukon... Robert then calls and says I need a original GM TPS not one from Autozone and I also need a original Throttle body now. By this time I'm done, they are not even addressing why the transmission is slipping. I called another shop, (name undisclosed at this time) and they could not believe what I was saying. They offered to go get the vehicle, record and document the teardown of my transmission. After the teardown of the transmission the findings were honestly not surprising. Pictures below show everything to the layman's eye. Can you see the burned up clutches? They are the very dark ones. Robert at Certified Transmission said he rebuilt the transmission a second time, that "it's ready." Well thats not what we found. He had me buying parts that did not even correlate to the slipping and gringing of the transmission. Did he even rebuild the first time? His words and all conversations recorded from my cellphone. I did ask for a refund of the $2800. I thought that was considerate NOT including my rental fees for 2 months. He said no that I don't have a leg to stand on. We'll let a judge decide.

Chris looked my car over, showed me photos of the cylinders in my engine, and explained what they'd recommend--and it was NOT a new engine! The shop could do the repairs for a fraction of what the other shop said they'd charge. Jon and Chris are very honest and know what they are talking about! I was referred to this shop by a retired master mechanic and he said he trusted them so I felt comfortable bringing my car in for repairs. I'm very happy to get a few more years out of my Hyundai!

I took my 2009 Camry to him for a yearly "wellness" check-up. Jon was so nice and professional, he did a thorough inspection and gave me a very reasonable quote for simple maintenance such as oil change, new windshield washer motor, wiper blades, and new rear brakes. He told me the rear brakes were 80% worn and that I could get by for a few more months if needed & that the front brakes were fine. I opted to have him replace the brakes now. I took it in at 9:30, and he had the work finished by 5:00 at, what I consider, a very reasonable price. This is an A+ place! I'm recommending this business to all of my friends!

Keith said they would need to pull it in and check underneath the car to see if they would be willing to do the service or not. I SPECIFICALLY told them that I wasn't 100% on doing the service today and to not start anything until I approve the service. After waiting in the lobby patiently, they came back and brought me to show me underneath the car in which they completely drained my transmission of all of its fluid. I then asked Keith why he drained my transmission without my permission in which he responded by saying that since he gave me a quote for $80 over the phone that it meant I "approved the service which I 100% did not. After I expressed my displeasure, he proceeded to give me attitude and then said he could "put the old fluid back". Now I am leaving with my transmission being drained and refilled with old transmission fluid. Keith should be fired for TERRIBLE customer service. I will not be coming back and I recommend everyone who sees this review to never trust this shop with your vehicle and to not waste your time with such awful customer service by Keith.
