I have seen another person mention the same on Yelp. They fixed my screen on my Samsung s22 Ultra, and within 3 days it was cracked. I brought it back in within the 30 day period and they would not honor the warranty. Told me I dropped it or applied too much pressure to it which was completely untrue. Blame the customer when you use subpar parts. I paid $150 for a screen that didn't even last a week!!!! Then I asked them to transfer my data to a new phone, and I left it there for 2 1/2 hours only to come back and be told they could only charge the phone to 2% which I know is untrue because I am charging it now and it is at 85%. Don't waste your time or hard earned money here. Trust me on this. This is a very untrustworthy business with shady practices. Rodrigo Reis is the owner and he should do better. When you don't treat people right don't expect to be in business for long.

Since then, all repairs and maintenance have been handled by Compu-Shack without any issues. Most recently, her screen died and some funky stuff was going on with the keyboard and pen. She was devastated because nothing had ever happened to her laptop, and she had 4 years of history she didn't want to worry about. Even though we had some stuff backed up, that laptop had become like her best friend. We thought for sure I would need to get her a new one but, nope! They fixed it right up, AND all the data was saved, drivers updated, pen replaced, etc. The screen wasnt a perfect match, so the view is a little dim but, she can see to work, and the owner knocked a good chunk of the price off because he felt bad about it being dim-this after trying for 2 hours to improve it; how often do you see that happen! I would have paid whatever to see the smile on her face when I brought it home. He also fixed it so she could use an external monitor, and now she has 2 monitors, which she proclaimed makes life so much easier. I have also referred anyone in need of PC/phone repairs here, and they have had no issues. The other reviews I see on here don't even make sense when I think of the level of customer satisfaction that I've witnessed while waiting for my own repairs. You also have to wonder how they stayed in business so long if everything said was true! In my opinion, the staff here is honest, friendly, caring, and knowledgeable about their business. It's comforting to listen to them answer calls, and walk customers through repairs or updates; other people would require them to come in so they can put a price tag on their help. If you need your tech handled by someone who cares about what they do and won't judge you, all for an affordable price--then this is the place to come. The techs at Compu-Shack handle devices like people on an operating table, and saving electronics is of the utmost importance to them. See for yourself; don't let someone else's bad experience cloud your judgment.

HORRIBLE Experience!!!…read more I found this store from Groupon to repair my broken iPhone screen. However, it took me 4 times back and forth cost more than 2 months and my phone got more problem every time I got back my phone back from this store. I wish I have NEVER been to this store!! I was asking for repair the screen with groupon, I made the call before I went to the store to check whether the time is good for me to come. They said yes and when I am at the store, I was told they suddenly got several come-in repair cases, then I have to go back for nothing! We rescheduled the time and this time at the end, the guy told me I have to buy extra back housing of my phone to fit in my new screen to the phone, the initial groupon was $50, and then the back housing was $70, the Apple Store cost is $130. So, the cost is almost the same as the official store but with extremely ridiculous experience! We bought the back housing and then got back the phone after several hours! However the back housing was not completely replaced and the back piece was scratched horribly!! Right the moment I reached them and asked them to re-order the NEW one and replace the bad one they gave me! After couple days, I found my phone battery dropped down extremely fast and suddenly raised up!! Extremely unstable!

Both had what appeared to be non-genuine screens and batteries, and both were noticeably slow and had problems that were not properly explained to me beforehand. I tried to trade the phones back because I was extremely unhappy with what I received. Instead, I was offered an iPhone 14 but was told I would STILL have to add another $50. What made the experience even worse was overhearing employees talking about overcharging customers. After hearing that while already feeling like I had been given phones that were not worth what I traded, it completely destroyed my trust in the business. I came in with a mint-condition iPhone 16 Plus and left feeling like I got seriously ripped off. I would not recommend trading in an expensive phone here without thoroughly checking every device, including the screen, battery, parts history, and performance. I regret doing business here.

So i did not hesitate to call him again for the back glass of my iPhone 13 pro Well Tom came over and sat in his van and fixed my iPhone 13 pro or at least I thought so. I came inside and not 10 minutes later my front screen was popping off of the phone. I messaged and told him about this, and he responded back with telling me that because they had to remove the clips to remove the back the front clips might be lose well it was more than that the LCD screen was off and on even when it was just sitting there on the table. I messaged again that morning asking if someone could come and look at my phone because I cannot send him a screenshot of the damage obviously and he blew me off for about a week. Finally, he had someone named Ian come out to look at the front screen and Ian told me that the clips on the front were, gone so I got my iPhone 13 pro fixed the back glass was broken on it nut nothing was wrong with the front of the glass at all. After booking an appointment someone who has an issue with their work you are no longer important because they won't come back and fix it unless they charge you again and again they don't even give you a discount I learned a lesson to never do business with someone who is not apple certified yeah he charges 100 dollars to fix your phone however it takes him all of 3 minutes to do it and it'll be broken again in less than a month so if you just bite the bullet and go to an apple certified place and pay maybe 200 your phone will still be eligible for trade in and it won't break permanently in a money or less i mean if you want to throw the phone away let him fix it or if you think because someone knows something you don't you can watch a YouTube video and learn how to do it just as easily and not give your money to this greedy man he is hands down a crook i promise you the biggest crook!!! Your response to my post about your company shows right there that you truly are a piece of shit I mean most businesses ask the person how they could've made their experience better bot not you. You already know you are a piece of work and you'll just about do whatever you have to do to get a sale and if someone has an issue with your work you are 'too busy' to come back and look at the work you did but if they have something else their wanting to pay for you'll be right there. It's all good I have seen your type before you wont make it long in life. You;ll end up dying early of something like a heart attack or something bless your heart.
