I guess I'll be the exception and give this Xfinity store a good review for the service received when we stopped in to add a couple services to a basic account. We dropped in sort of mid-day on a weekday and had a minimal 10'ish minute wait before being called on. Very special kudos to Dave, the customer service rep who took care of us. His service is what this review is really about. He was well informed on the Comcast products, including a rather obscure one we were adding, & fluid in navigating their order system. He was genuinely friendly, engaging, and fun. His personality kept the process of taking care of business light and easy. His service was solid 5 star level!! He was super comprehensive & clear informing us what our added service should look like at home. He gave us the needed boxes & cables to install, since we wanted to avoid a technician visit fee. The install was pretty simple & straightforward for an old I.T. guy like me. One demerit for Xfinity back end glitch, that's not this store's fault, that fubarred the service after equipment hookup. Eva at Xfinity customer service call center was patient & proficient at eventually clearing the issue remotely in about half an hour on the phone. She too was friendly, courteous, and proficient.

    Just last month I was talking to a friend about my high cable bill and never ending increases. He…read morereferred me to Scott at Sky Systems to help me out and said they Dish. I was a bit nervous going to a satellite tv service because several years ago we were with DirecTv and thought we would never change until our 5th year with them when the renter neighbor next door installed a DirecTv dish that completely blocked our signal and the technician there refused to move the dish they just installed, they wanted to move ours. That day, they lost of customer for good. We went back to cable which we hated but not going back to a company that turn their backs on us after 5 years (the renter was evicted), and new homeowner went with cable so DirecTv lost 2 customers within 5 months of time. I kept getting offers from DirecTv over the years but they gave us a bad taste of their customer service we wouldn't want to risk them again. I called and spoke to Scott at Sky Systems and even though it was almost closing time for him he spent over the time getting my husband and I signed up and set up for an install 2 days later. His installer Brad was very good and helpful to my husband and answered and helped with any questions and concerned he had and with the new remote. So glad we were recommended to Sky Systems. We love our Dish Network Systems. Excellent Customer Service from Scott (owner) to Brad (installer). I am from Lacey, WA not sure why my profile is showing San Francisco, CA.
