I was a bit nervous going to a satellite tv service because several years ago we were with DirecTv and thought we would never change until our 5th year with them when the renter neighbor next door installed a DirecTv dish that completely blocked our signal and the technician there refused to move the dish they just installed, they wanted to move ours. That day, they lost of customer for good. We went back to cable which we hated but not going back to a company that turn their backs on us after 5 years (the renter was evicted), and new homeowner went with cable so DirecTv lost 2 customers within 5 months of time. I kept getting offers from DirecTv over the years but they gave us a bad taste of their customer service we wouldn't want to risk them again. I called and spoke to Scott at Sky Systems and even though it was almost closing time for him he spent over the time getting my husband and I signed up and set up for an install 2 days later. His installer Brad was very good and helpful to my husband and answered and helped with any questions and concerned he had and with the new remote. So glad we were recommended to Sky Systems. Verizon has us as customers for life…read more Not only are they very helpful when us old geezers (usually my husband) can't figure out something tech-related, but they are oh so reasonable. We were already happy with our cell service by Verizon. Then our television and internet services ended their contracts with each other, so we had to change our internet provider. The one we chose first was a huge, huge mistake. I won't say which one. This post isn't about that mockery of a service, it's about Verizon, and Verizon helped us a lot. It pleased us very much to find out that in addition to cell phones and service, Verizon also provides internet. We've had it some time now, without a hitch. Very few service outages, and when they do happen, they are resolved quickly. Not only is their service faster AND less expensive than the one we erroneously chose the first time, but they also helped us offset the cancellation fees we had to pay in order to get rid of the mistake. Thank you, Verizon, and I only wish you provided television service in our area too.

I texted them on a Tuesday and they were able to come out by Thursday of the same week. Alex & his wife were on time, professional, and funny to chat with while they were working. It only took around 40 minutes. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail -- especially when it came to leveling and centering the TV. They even inspected a TV mount I already had installed in a different room and fixed the creak in it for free. I will absolutely use their services again -- as they are reasonably priced and can basically mount anything and I have some mirrors I will call them back to help me with. They ripped us off by selling us GOTW3 internet service. After signing up, GotW3 stopped delivering the service. More than 5,000 people were ripped off by GotW3, and South Hill continues to sell their service. GotW3 sold the service, stopped delivering, explained it would be fixed, strung their customers along saying if we got tired of waiting, they would do a full refund any time. When we did cancel, they refused any refund. We are starting a class action suit against gotW3 and will post the link here if you were ripped off too.

When I asked Travis (owner) to help, I was told that I am on my own and to call Centurylink. So the business view, is to take the commission earned from the sale, but not to support the customer. Buyer beware!! It appears that I will be forced to go back to Xfinity. I would never have switched if it wasn't for the internet cost reduction. Now it looks like I will be stuck paying even more for TV and internet.
