I've always believed that your home should reflect your sense of style -- and for me, that includes the bathroom. I wanted a space that felt elegant, modern, and pulled together, like a well-styled outfit. Century City Baths completely got the vision. Every detail feels intentional -- the mirror placement, the lighting, the hardware. It's all coordinated perfectly without feeling overdone. The design has that clean, editorial feel I love, but it's still practical for everyday use.

Dust everywhere

It was heartache after heartache in my experience with Century City Baths. Let me preface this by saying that Kevin (salesman) and Tom (project manager) did the best they could to remedy the subpar work done by the foreman and his crew in my upstairs bathroom. Day 1: Demo and plumbing Day 2: LEAKING WATER INTO MY DINING ROOM CEILING that lead to warped hard wood floor in dining room Day 2-6: Cut out dining room ceiling, install new dry wall, taped, sanding, painted ceiling, and tried to dry the warped hard wood floor in dining room Day 7: Dust everywhere on the 1st floor. Tom sent a cleaning crew next day due to my kids asthma being exacerbated and needing to sleep in the basement before the cleaning crew came. Day 9-18: LVP extended into the bathroom closet since it was not completed as originally requested -Water leaking out of the stand up shower because the shower ledge was pitched outwards and away from the drain. -Water leaked under the LVP that seeped into my bedroom carpet -2.5 weeks later a different foreman was sent to remedy the mistakes from the original crew Long story short: Would not use Century City Baths again due to the subpar experience and sloppy work.

Toilet drain is 11.5" from the partition thy put in, no longer usable.

I appreciated how clean he kept the workspace and for keeping the health and safety of my family a top priority. I highly recommend you consider Soma Tile for your next project! Note: The paint and shower door were performed by others.

Summary: Soma Tile (Lucas) is a partner through the process and his team is comprised of skilled…read moreand courteous professionals. I would not hesitate in referring them to anyone looking for bath and tile work!! Preface: Let me start this tale with some background. This project was not an exciting "Lets update our 20 year old bathroom and make it stylish and pretty". Instead the project started due to an undetected leak, the stress that comes from random water leaking in random places, and was filled with questions and concerns. Countless others "assured" me that this was a plumbing issue or just due to some neglected maintenance on a 5 year old new-install shower - and then wanted to blast holes everywhere to "find" the leak. At the same time, I did not want to rip apart a shower to then find out it might be plumbing and now a full on repair. I felt overwhelmed in making the wrong choice and doing 2 projects chasing my tail. Lucas walked me through all the typical scenarios that he has seen, leaning on the most probably is a structural fail of the shower system and then did a methodical exploration. A couple hours later and a minimal demo, he confirmed that it was in fact not plumbing related and was def. a failure of the shower system -- and walked me through what it would take. Once his team was onsite, they were focused - creating a whole "clean room" at the entry to the bathroom. 1 day demo, 1 day water-proof, 2 days tile - all while providing the proper time for dry-out and leak testing between steps. Lucas is a perfectionist, being critical on the most minor details -- which to someone that also strives for this level, but has no idea what they are looking for, was very much appreciated. Additionally, he has instilled this value in his team - that are true craftsman with their skill. Each step of the process was walked through, discussed, and made sure we understood the task, goal, and expectations. This is why I say Lucas/Soma Tile was a true partner in this project, as it wasn't a fun project -- it was an overwhelming stressful start where Soma Tile helped take some of the burden and concerns off our shoulders and work it through with their own expertise, experience, and dedication - ensuring every step was executed with precision. Soma Tile knows their craft - Lucas is a partner, his team are craftsman. Huge Thanks to Lucas, Jesus, and Miguel -- not to forget Jose who magically appeared on the last day to leave the place spotless.

Unfortunately, "0" stars is not an option…read more.. Came here, per the recommendation of our contractor, because of their selection available. Called the day prior to understand their process and if an appointment is needed, which was confirmed is not. We went to specifically select tile, but was open to view counter material in stock and if we liked something else from what we already picked somewhere else. Walking in, the woman at the front desk "greeting" you, doesn't look up or at you when speaking, rambles off where to find which kind of tile, while continue working on whatever engaged her more than potential customers. We came prepared with cabinet samples and ideas and started browsing around for nearly 15 minutes. Not once, did anyone come by to ask if we need help finding anything or if we have questions. I went to the front desk to inquire about a tile I liked on their website to see if they have it in-store to view. Again, the front desk representative, continued working on whatever was more important, without looking at me, and "explained" where I could find it. When I repeated the location back to her, she spoke over her shoulder without making eye contact, and said "It's somewhere between the 3rd and 4th rack; just look, you'll see it." We decided in that moment, that we'd prefer to NOT buy tile here. To the Management - the people you employ, represent you and your company. Either, training is lacking, or your employees do not value your customers in the same way you do. To the Front Desk employee - when you have a job, that is customer-facing, you need to be engaging and actually look them in the eye when speaking to them. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, you are in the wrong position, and need to apply for something that's at a desk, where you only interact with a computer.

I can't speak on Elaganza at a place to shop/order from, but I can tell you from an employee…read moreperspective, and a moral standpoint, this place is DEPLORABLE!!! My husband worked here for nearly 5 years while drunks, and drug addicts opporated machinery, were promoted, let go, fired for drinking on the job, and just being lazy, and he was CONSTANTLY begging for reviews that never came. He kept taking on more and more responsibilities for no more pay or a better title. He stayed because our family needed some kind of income, he cared about the company, and felt he had job security... Until he was permanently laid off just days before Christmas by some new "manager" who knows nothing of the business. In his time there he was forced to break tiles, and the company as a whole was being investigated by ATF because shipments of tile ended up being shipped to empty lots, and wound up being large quantities of marijuana. The lead sales woman, Trish, is single handedly destroying the Elk Grove Village branch, and letting everyone go who has more time there than her. Towards the end of his employment under them, he was literally having panic attacks going into work because he was so stressed, over worked, and being belittled by Trish's poor demeanor, lack if experience  and terrible attitude. With that being said, I am so grateful for this woman, because she finally let my husband go, he is no longer stressed, and making DOUBLE what he was at Elaganza. If you are looking for a tile company  i suggest finding a more professional company, because this is not it, they are unreliable at best, and purposely neglectful. If you are looking to work here, run!!! Take my warning... As a wife who watched her husband turn into a shell of the fun loving, kind, vibrant man he used to be, please think before you deal with this company who couldn't care less about their staff or customers. And again, thank you Trish, your cold heart got me my loving husband back!!!

As a do-it-yourself retail customer, we were less happy with the service received during the ordering and buying process. Orders are not placed in the showroom, but in the warehouse office. Using a credit card incurs an additional fee, so we wrote a check and the order must be paid in full for the order to be placed. Parts of our order were backordered and we waited for about 6 weeks for it to be completed. We were not kept informed of the status as various pieces arrived. (Some pieces were delivered broken and these were replaced without a problem) Returns are problematic and not customer friendly. Special orders are not returnable, neither is grout and a few other things. The terms and conditions say returns must be made within 30 days of the order, but our order took 6 weeks. Any returns have a 25% restocking fee. I tried to return a full carton of an in-stock tile and was told that cash sale items are not returnable, but I was allowed to leave the carton on the loading dock rather than taking it back home--a 100% restocking fee. While the company has a showroom open to the public, the infrastructure and terms and conditions for sales seems more appropriate for contractors, not homeowners. Before doing business with this company, read their terms and conditions - consider all sales final. If you need a normal retail experience, shop elsewhere.
