(I've taken my clothes to their other location as well "Best Cleaners & Tailors" in Brookline on Washington St). They are both a family-owned and operated business with all the machines in the back. I find that to be helpful because they are able to take care of the customer. I've been to other dry cleaning businesses where it was the hub-and-spoke system and used simply as a pick-up location. I feel that the managers there were not as accommodating because they don't have the power to make a change. Unlike this store, where they can make an immediate change. I remember that one day while I was at Classic, one lady was not satisfied with how her clothes were pressed. I got the vibe that she thought that the whole process was something magical and things will be absolutely perfect- it's not. There were bound to be some small wrinkles in the clothes. I thought the manager would be upset with her because she didn't understand but instead he said that he'll take back all her clothes to press them again and will leave it out of the bag for her to see next time before bagging it. I felt bad for the manager because the lady was yelled at him and yet he was being super kind to do this at no extra charge! I have taken my clothes here for two years and I haven't had any problems outside of what is normal. I've asked a few times for them to repress the major wrinkles. So, check before you leave! I think the prices are reasonable and would highly recommend them. The manager likes to chat and is friendly. Oh, and I have two tips: 1. Calling in- When you call, make sure you are not on the phone's speaker because it's hard for them to hear on the other side with the customers and machine's noises. It helps them if you speak up! ^^ 2. Labels- For men's shirts, they use a sharpie to write on the other side of the button placket. You can request them to pin a ticket instead if you don't want them to write on the shirts. All other items are pinned. -- This has been a review that I've kept putting off. I brought a dress here to have hemmed before a wedding I am attending and now have to purchase a new one to wear as it's been completely ruined. When I tried the item on at home, the hem is completely crooked and the slip is sticking out from underneath by half an inch in the front. When I called to ask for some of my fee to be returned or a correction to be made I was told to bring the item in, which I did, and was then accused of bringing a completely different item in. She said she did not recognize it and would not do anything resolve the issue and walked to the back ignoring me entirely. All this in addition to the pants they hemmed with two different length legs, which I was also told was my fault. Absolutely avoid coming here as they clearly don't care about the work they are doing.

The laundromat is owned by a family- I primarily see the son, but at times, his father is also present, which has always left me with an icky feeling. His father STARES at patrons so intently, it makes you feel very uncomfortable. He polices you as you do you laundry and keeps the bathroom locked. You have to ask for permission to access the bathroom to wash your hands in between loads. Tonight, I entered just before 7 pm and there was another young woman attempting to do laundry. I say attempting because the washer machines she was using read "Error. No Sink Fill". She told the older man about this four times and he did nothing to resolve the issue. After her telling him multiple times, he called his son who came downstairs and moved her loads to other machines that I was about to fill. Due to the delay in getting a washer, my clothes were still drying at 8:50 pm since I had to wait for her to finish using the smaller washer machines. Shortly thereafter, the older man went to the breaker panel and turned all of them off stopping my clothes from drying. He then proceeded to turn off all the lights and told me to get out. I informed him that I could not pack my clothes in the dark and needed light to pack my still damp clothing. He STILL REFUSED and I proceeded to call 911 because I was standing in the dark with a very odd old man. The officers (one male and one female officer) arrived and the laundromat was still dark. I explained the situation to the police and he was still belligerent. After packing my clothing, the police and I attempted to leave the laundromat and he stood in front of the door. They had to yell at him to move out of our way so we could exit. This entire situation was completely avoidable and unfortunate as I'm choosing to share this disgusting story. They need to repair their machines, and better yet, STAY OUT OF NEIGHBORHOODS where you clearly don't trust your clientele. At the height of the pandemic when many were withdrawing their support of Asian-owned businesses in Boston due to a false and perceived connection with the COVID-19 infection, my household and I still continued to do laundry there while others sought out other laundromats. The treatment I experienced tonight makes me deeply frustrated and sad. I will be withdrawing my support from this business and letting other know. I am owed a refund, but most importantly, an apology.
