They were able to start the next day which surprised me but greatly appreciated it. I was concerned about safety and branches falling. The quote was on par with another company in the area I called. I appreciated the clear communication and attention to detail on the work day. They discovered a large branch that was in bad shape which was out of scope. They let me know and we agreed to take care of it for a reasonable cost. Definitely using them again in the future. read more

This is the 2nd time I've hired CVT to trim my landscape. I had 8 large palm trees removed, closely planted to the pool. First, they covered the pool with a large tarp. Then they cut down the palm trees into 36" pieces and carried them through a narrow sidewalk to my driveway to chip. They worked very hard and were exceptionally careful not to break any pool equipment and avoid any pipes and sprinkler heads. When they were finished the yard and especially the pool was as clean as when started. It is easy to see why they have 29 reviews all with 5 stars. Been viewing the work of a crew removing and pruning trees in a condo complex. This is the most efficient job ever done on these old trees. These guys really understand the art of proper thinning, topping and removal of dead wood. This location has a tree service out every two years. This is the best job ever. My medical practice just moved to a new office where the prior tenant recommended CVT landscaping. After moving in, we found CVT to be friendly, skilled with landscaping, great to work with, and with reasonable prices. So in the end we decided to continue to work with them. Shortly after we moved in however we found out there were termites in the building and that fumigation was required. We fumigated, but after the tenting was completed an entire wall of ivy partially fell off our building and was on the verge of collapsing on adjacent cars. CVT was incredibly accommodating and efficient with their emergency services coming out quickly and resolving the issue immediately. They arrived within 30 minutes of being notified! I can't express how impressed I have been with CVT and I can't recommend CVT more highly to anyone looking to have the best landscaper! read more

I have dead spots all over my frontlawn and backyard due to an aging sprinkler system. I had 2 different landscaping companies try to fix it, no luck. After several failures with other landscapers, I contacted CVTL. I'm so glad I did. The whole process from start to finish was excellent. We discussed my plan with Brad, then he and Juan provided input and worked with us on selecting trees and shrubs. Then they did a fantastic job. I had already completed the concrete work, pavers and installed a custom shed. Their work included new sod for the front yard, electrical work for outdoor outlets, planting the trees and shrubs, installing a new sprinkler system and running a drip system for our potted plants. The job took two weeks and was a lot of work. I marveled at Juan and Manny's expertise. Juan did a fantastic job on everything, including the electrical work, which included some trenching to meet code. Manny was also great to work with and very knowledgeable. He finished a couple sections of pavers and matched it to the existing pavers. It's now been 4 months since they finished and we continue to get so many compliments. I highly recommend CVTL. What a great company! Brad came out Monday morning gave us an estimate and said the guys could be out the same week! On Wednesday 3 young gentleman started work on a huge Maple tree that was lifting our concrete. Thursday they came back to finish and do the stump removal. They did an excellent job trimming my trees, and advising me on how to maintain them. Customer service is second to none with CVTL. 6 months after having my trees trimmed I had a concern about a tree that looked as if it were dying. I called and spoke with Daniel about this, and rather than charging me for a service call he had me send him pictures of the tree over e-mail, and provided guidance based on what he saw in the pictures. I called CVT and spoke with Gilbert. He came to see the tree and he explained the removal process. I had questions and he answered them. Sent the bid by email. After reviewing, we decided to go with them. He made sure the area where the utilities are located were marked. Got USA approval. The day of the appointment the crew arrived on time. Everything that Gilbert explained to me was done. He communicated with me by phone and text. The crew was very professional, courteous and even cleaned up the whole area. We were very impressed of how they handled the cutting of a 25 foot tree. We were sad to see the tree go but it had to be done. Gilbert spoke of tree options that can be planted at a later date. Daniel Bote knows trees and his crew knows how to work with them, including how to safely take down 100 foot tall Redwood trees. He came out promptly, gave us a quote on several pieces of work. We chose just to do the trees in the front because they were a mess and felt like a hazard. Three giant sequoia trees in a small cul-de-sac. Their price was extremely reasonable, the crew was efficient, they showed up when they said they would, and finished almost exactly when they said they would. No excuses. The crew worked hard, the crew chief knocked on the door when they arrived and when they left, and they cleaned everything up (and there was a LOT to clean up). From cutting off the limbs (and leaving us a bunch of neatly stacked branches for future firewood), to felling the tree in segments, to grinding down the stump they had the equipment and man power for the job. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. In fact, I have several old fruit trees in the back yard that have CVTL's name on them. read more
