I requested servicing of ten approximately 20 feet tall, queen palm trees. Two of the trees were requested for removal. Rumble tree was able to beat the estimates of other groups that I put in request with in Modesto. They did an amazing job cleaning up my queen, palm trees with their numerable, fruiting bodies and dying leaves. There is a little bit of a wait in order to get their service done likely because I requested during a busy time of the year (winter). if you are willing to wait, they are totally worth it. I have attached some of my pictures of their aftercare but before pictures unfortunately are unavailable, but you can just imagine very shaggy drooping leaves on all of my trees. read more

We used Rumble Tree Service to grind two stumps in our backyard. One stump was about 6 inches in diameter (Crape Myrtle) and the other was about 15 inches (Liquid Amber). The cost was $245 for both. At first it was satisfactory, out of sight out of mind, however both trees began growing back aggressively. We had Rumble Tree return to take a look and was told that what was growing back were saplings, and they quoted us $95 to spray them with herbicide. I know that the growth is not saplings, it's new growth from an extremely poor stump grinding. Definitely not worth nearly $250. Less than an inch below the ground is a fully intact stump that should have been ground to prevent it from growing back. Additionally had herbicide been applied to the stump to begin with, this entire situation probably could have been prevented. We called Rumble Tree because we are not tree experts and if herbicide should have been applied immediately following grinding, we should have been told but that was not the case. Needless to say we will not be recommending this company. Right now we feel as though we have over paid for a very poor job. Here are pictures of the stump (that Rumble Tree ground supposedly)we are having to pay for another company to grind, again. Very unsatisfied. read more

I had a bit of a mix-up as I couldn't be present when a city tree was to trimmed from above my building. Totally my fault as I wasn't there to direct the work, but I felt a little more needed to be removed to get the desired result (stop the city tree from plugging my gutters and having to hire cleaners). I called Rumble Tree service for emergency service, as I had a 75 foot tree splitting. We feared it could land on power lines or on our rental house. They sent someone out to evaluate the tree within a couple hours at 8pm. They determined the tree could be tied together until the next day. They arrived early the next morning and downed the tree without damage to either the power lines, or the house. The crew cleaned up the area and aside from the patch of dirt where the tree used to stand, you couldn't tell there had ever been a tree there. They aren't necessarily the cheapest around, but they do a very good and complete job. read more

Deon came out, took a look and before I could tell him what I wanted done, he said pretty much what I was thinking. He even looked the back trees and then sent me a estimate for just the front and one for front and back. The trimming crew came today and even though we weren't home, they got right to work, were done in a little over an hour, cleaned up everything so you can't even tell they were here and even apologized for blocking my driveway. What an AMAZING company! My two kittens that I had previously rescued had gotten themselves stuck in my tree atleast 30 feet high. They had been up there for two days because every company I called said they couldn't help, some even laughed at my request. But not this company! As soon as I called they said they'd love to help. Rumble Tree & Turf came along this morning spraying some chemical all over the place. The employee with the spray hose was wearing protective gear and a mask, so whatever it is, it can't be good. The problem is - the employee didn't bother targeting the trees. This mystery chemical was sprayed all over our houses and all over our back yards. It sprayed enough so in the back yard that it splashed. I'm not talking a little bit. I know my neighbor's poor dog is outside and must be covered with it. I went out to ask the truck driver what they were spraying and was immediately waved away. I called the company to ask what it was and was told it's safe and would "dry within minutes". If it's "safe" why is the employee in haz-mat gear, and on a foggy drizzly day, nothing is going to dry within minutes. read more
