I am a realtor and have referred many clients to Central Oregon Glass. My last bid I received for a client I passed on to the buyers to get the work done in their new home in the future (I represented the seller). The receptionist called and emailed me many times per week after I had said several times that I was NOT the client who would be scheduling the work but I had passed along their estimate to the new buyers. On the last call I found out she was calling because they had fabricated glass that was never approved and that was why she was hounding me. I politely told her this was never approved as I stated before the new owner would schedule the work. She said "don't use us anymore". I've never received such hostile customer service from a small local business which I typically like to support. Two pieces of gravel had left a big crack across the windshield of my truck and my insurance company referred me to CO Glass. They fixed the crack perfectly (only a week out on scheduling) within a couple of hours. When my husband brought me back to pick it up, he scheduled to have his windshield fixed too. If you want custom glass cut, this is the only fair place to buy near Redmond, OR. Bought 2 pieces 1/4" Bronze 18" X 24" for table tops. $26 ea cut and edge polished. Finished the next day and perfect workmanship. And the receptionist was friendly and knew what she was doing. Quoted me the price over the phone and didn't even ask for a deposit. read more

Hired to install shower door. I ordered the wrong size and they took measurements for the replacement which were still wrong. Came out to install the wrong measurements and stated they needed to order a new panel. They charged me for the whole install that they did not complete and then was going to double the install charge for the next panel once it arrived. read more

If I could give less then 1 star I would. Lied to repeatedly. The process to get parts has taken months. First they tell you all the parts are in so you make an appointment- they never show up. This happened over and over. Then they tell you that they never said your parts were there. I can not believe the extremely poor customer service. Great business. Best prices (I called around for 3 prices, ranging from $250 to over $700, for the exact same thing). I wanted to get two large pieces of bronze 1/4" glass for use as a desk top in a contemporary setting in our new home. They suck!!!!. They gave me an quote for a 3/8" bronze counter top table glass for $350 dlls. I even gave them a deposit of $100 dlls to close the deal. 2 days later they call me and tell me the price had tripled. To over $ 1000 dlls. I think it wasnt professional and it was ridiculous as well, and they should have respected the quote the had gave me.why give out a quote without knowing... Didnt even say sorry or nothing. Their truck whose driver did not have a driver license and owner who had no insurance on truck was in an accident with our vehicle. They lied to us and our insurance company on the state of their insurance. I doubt they have any business insurance either and I would demand to get copies of insurance before doing any work including for their vehicles. read more

I got an in office quote for some mirrors at around $200. They talked us into having someone come out & check about them doing the installation (quoted us an additional $150). So around $350 right? Get a call today stating now over $700!!! When questioned, they said "it always changes when we come out". I get that, but really, DOUBLE ??? Starting to feel like they just came to our house to scope it out and decide if we could pay more. read more

Was rear-ended by one of their drivers on Greenwood. Did not have insurance paperwork in the car, registration was expired, owner gave me the runaround and said he wanted to pay cash and he wasn't going to give me the insurance information. I threatened to call the police, then he presented an expired policy. I was able to get the insurance from company, but these guys are shady. Don't trust them. read more

I drove 2 hours to meet them at my house in Redmond to have a window measured and get a quote to replace it. I confirmed that I would be there soon and the receptionist said to call when I was close and that they would be there after 1:30. When I called back the phone went straight to voicemail and the office was closed the rest the afternoon. They never called me and never showed up, so I had a wasted trip. Very unprofessional business . Appointments not met and no calls to cancel appointment. Calls not returned and promises not kept . After a week of trying to get something set up I finally gave up.I dealt with vendors my whole adult life spending millions a yr for my company and I don't think I've ever been treated so poorly by a company. Company could care less about your business. I tried to keep my work local. I've been promised every time "we'll call you", " it'll be ready in 3 days", I've had to follow up personally each time and it's yet to be done and I've never had my call returned. Gave them a month instead of 30 days and all kinds of excuses again and not done. The product is great, installers wonderful and price the best BUT I got my bid in May and could get them to call me back, do an estimate on a different grade window or schedule until October! I called at least ten times and also emailed back the owner but no answers. The staff is wonderful but I get the sense they are overworked. The office completely shuts down if Nicole isn't there.
