DaBella has made the home improvement process so much easier than I ever thought it could be. The Bend/Redmond branch is full of kind people willing to bend over backwards to make sure we got what we needed. After a window at our home broke (the frame, not the glass) within a week of moving in, I was stressed and, when we checked all the other windows in the house, we realized how badly many of them needed replaced. We were too busy to worry about it at the moment, so, it got pushed to the back burner. Enter Cole knocking on our door a few days later. He was in the area passing out flyers and offered to set us up with an appointment for n inspection and estimate (we got our roof checked out, too). While the windows are a bit on the spendy side, the quality is unlike any other window I've ever seen and I LOVE that my windows look like real wood instead of white plastic like all the others I've seen in the area. They look so classy and I cannot get over how efficient they are. Even with this crazy 90-100* heat, I haven't had to run the A/C nearly as much as I was the weeks before they were installed. We still have more windows to replace down the line and I am 100% certain we will go with DaBella again. About the roof--the salesman/estimator we had the appointment with (he was also the manager) was kind enough to check out our roof and even checked the attic for leaks, mold, etc. and told us we DON'T need a roof right now. He pointed out one small area that needed a tiny repair and recommended a local handyman. That's right. He could have made a(nother) sale (and, let's be honest, I would have believed him if he'd said it needed done), but, instead, he was honest and showed that there really is a difference between this company and the other guys. All in all, I'm still shocked at how painless this process has been. I've already recommended DaBella to some friends in the area and I'm constantly reminded how much I love these new windows. read more

If you are even remotely considering a new roof, what ever you do, do not give them your phone number. They will harass you non- stop, especially if they see that you do indeed need a new roof. My poor wife gave them her number and they call multiple times a day, all week long. They are hard sell and do not take no for an answer. Even after being told no thank you, they return to your doorstep another day to continue the hard sell. They have both a call center and door to door sales reps. No doubt a sizable portion of their price is sales commission, why else would they keep coming back after being told no. They are at the bottom of my list for the new roof I will be getting in the next year or two. read more

What ever you do don't give these people your number. They will not take NO for an answer. After badgering my beautiful wife who is a stay at home Mom and confincing her that we need windows replaced that BY NO MEANS ARE IN NEED OF REPLACING she gave them my phone number. Then the Phone spam campaign started with this outfit and it is a whole other level. For over a YEAR they've been harassing me. Every time you tell them your not interested they will still spam call you sometimes MULTIPLE TIMES during a day but always at least once every day of the work week FROM DIFFERENT LOCAL PHONE NUMBERS! A company should give you a fair price. This place will just give an outrageous price and if you don't bite they come up with special ways to save you money. They initially quoted me $60K to side my house. The last quote they gave before they were told to pack up and leave was $42K read more

We purchased this manufactured home in 2021. One of the selling points was that it had a new roof and was under warranty. The roof was installed in 2018 by Dabella. This last winter we noticed snow melting under the shingles and not shedding water properly in the valleys. We had a different roofing company come out and look at the roof and they found that the flashing in the valley was not installed correctly. Also, they noted that we had a lot of soft spots on the roof. We paid them to explore the soft spot problem. They pulled up a 4 x 4 area at the top of the roof. They found mold on the sheathing and no venting at the ridge. At that time, they put a new sheet in and re-shingled the area and told us to contact the company that installed the roof because it was installed improperly. At that time, I called the realtor that the seller used and found that Dabella was the installer back in 2018. I tried contacting them and had no luck getting any response from them for over 30 days. But then I finally got the manager here in Central Oregon to reply, but we just went back and forth. He finally agreed to come out to look at the problem and took photos. Then I was informed that Dabella does not guarantee or won't be liable for any problems that have to do with venting issues, even though they modified the original venting system and installed a new one. For 3 months, we tried to work with the local DeBella office and call center. Their recommended path was to have them install a new roof with new sheathing costing over $70k. We decided to have another company come in and do the replacements so we could document the problems. Why would we pay a company to fix their errors? I took a week off work to take photos and videos of the uninstall of the roof. Here is what was found when the roof was removed. The vents in the roof from the factory were removed and capped with metal pieces. The ridge sheathing was not cut back at all to allow the roof to vent out the ridge vents that were installed by Dabella. This completely blocked all air flow. It caused mold to grow on the sheathing/trusses and go into the house. It caused all the sheathing to be replaced due to dry rot and mold. All the insulation had to be replaced due to mold. We had to have a mold company come in and clean up the trusses of the house. We will have over $80k into this with all the time that I have to take off work and the invoices that we have been receiving.This has turned into a major health concern in the home. Along with allergies, we have 2 people with autoimmune diseases (Multiple Sclerosis) in our family that have been living and breathing these toxins. Even after showing the proof of the venting and mold issues, DeBella continued to say it was not their problem. The roof installed by them was not to code and installed incorrectly, which directly led to all the issues today. This is not the first complaint that I have seen with this company and I am not the first person that they have told to F off and its not their problem. read more

horrible service HORRIBLE! we ordered an entire set of custom windows and a sliding glass door and after months and months of waiting they arrived, and they were all WRONG! the measurements were completely wrong after a painstakingly long measuring appointment. The sliding glass door, since those are all the same size, was the wrong color. bright red. on a brown house. looks horrible. unacceptable. I had two sales reps come over and "wow" me with the whole process and how thorough and high quality everything they do is. I paid a large sum of cash down for two bathroom projects and never heard from them again including the many delays- ex. project was supposed to be done mid April and it is just now being completed end of June. I had to go above any beyond to get an update from anyone. Then when I wanted to add on to the bathroom with shower doors, they got right back to me but they ordered them incorrectly. They shipped the wrong color materials and ordered the wrong size shower door for one of my bathrooms. I have tried calling several times during this project to speak with a manager or staff member and the phones have just been ringing through I cant get a hold of anyone to discuss thsee issues. A DaBella rep knocked on my door last week to offer a free inspection and quote. My roof is getting towards the end of its lifespan so I figured, what the heck, may as well get some information. The next day, two sales reps came and performed a thorough inspection of my roof and attic. They asked if I had a "few minutes" to go over what they found and review a quote. Instead they sat down and spent the next 90 MINUTES giving me DaBella's sales pitch. The rep had a 60-slide powerpoint, a video montage, phone calls back to HQ, and a ton of product samples that appeared out of nowhere. We'd only just met and he was already asking me to feel his rubber. Just like with telemarketers, it was nearly impossible to get a word in edgewise to tell them to speed it up. All told, the visit took well over 2 hours. For that kind of time, I should have been offered a free cruise rather than a $40k (!) roof. I felt conned out of my afternoon and it made DaBella seem disingenuous and manipulative as a company. There were also weird gender dynamics. The reps kept asking to pull my husband in, even though I told them from the outset that I'd be handling any decision-making about the roof and he wouldn't be joining us. At one point they even called their manager and said that I was unable to agree on a contract because my husband wasn't there. Apparently my word doesn't count and they needed to hear it from someone with dangly genitals. I didn't realize I'd woken up in 1952. There were aspects of DaBella's products and services that seemed appealing, and I was worried I'd have to choose them despite these two big strikes. I consulted the internets, and it turns out there are other roofing companies in Bend (like McMurray and Sons) that use the same GAF materials and have the same installer credentials and 50-year full warranty. Others (like Central Oregon Roofing) offer the same 50-year full warranty terms, using different brand names. I'll be getting quotes from them and hope to have a better experience. I don't normally write reviews, but I hope it helps other people know what they're getting into with a "free estimate". If you're on the fence, go check out the reviews of DaBella in Portland, where many folks are reporting having to kick DaBella reps off their property after 3-4 hour sales pitches. For the DaBella staff reading this, know that I blame my experience on company-wide sales strategies and not the individual sales reps, which is why I haven't used their names. My reps were polite, nice guys who arrived on time and were very conscientious with their masks. They were very well informed about the company's offerings, they had their sales pitch down pat, and I did get useful information about roofing problems and products. I appreciated that they pointed out a bit of growth in my attic that needs to be treated. They made a real effort to be personable and probably used my name more times than my own mother ever has. They seemed to be following the company playbook to a tee, and they were good at it. The problem was the company playbook. Getting a new roof is no small thing, and this experience was positive from start to finish. Chris took the time to explain the details of what to expect and it was all in an agreement. The roofers were amazing. Not only were they highly skilled (my roof is very steep), but they were sensitive to my needs and also showed me the materials and explained the techniques. I had some worries and concerns, but they were reassuring and patiently explained the process. All my concerns were addressed and I am confident that my new 50 year roof will be a great benefit to me and to those who may come later.
