A few years ago we had Webfoot install heat cables on our roof in Bend, OR. The first year the Bend winter was mild thus we did not need to use the cables to remove snow from our roof. However, the next winter had more snow. We turned on the cables and noticed that there was no snow being removed from our roof. When we called Webfoot to let them know that the cables were not working as promised; they had a representative who came out to visit us. He told us that Webfoot was not responsible for the incorrect sizing of the cables as they hired a sub contractor as the electrician. Basically they said, "tough luck" your on your own. We removed the cables when we added a new roof the next year. I would not recommend Webfoot for any of their services as they told us that it was our responsibility, not Webfoot's. A waste of money. We got a recombination from our electrician for adding heat cable to our home. For sure our electrician could have done the job but he advised Webfoot could do a better job for less money as it is a speciality department of theirs. Estimate: In September, quick, detailed, and well planned during their peak season... much appreciated. Bid: was a bit more than we'd budgeted for but felt timing and ability were our priorities. We did pay a 50% deposit which is never something I'd recommend with most contractors but we felt comfortable as we know Webfoot and they are part of our industry. Installation: In October, Incredible install, the guys were so professional and they accommodated our install all from the exterior of our home. Electrician: Wired 220v to roof area and connected cable to a switch, we may go with a smart with at some point, great install ! Heat Cable: December, tested with our first snow and ice storm and it works well... piece of mind and should we have another huge snow storm, which we will, we will know we've done about all we can do.. After having the exterior of our house painted summer of '23, but not by Webfoot as they unfortunately were so backlogged that they couldn't even provide us with a reasonable date to receive an estimate, we got on their email list and received a "25% off Christmas in July", which required us to utilize their services during the Dec 1 through Jan 31 timeframe, but book and put 30% down with them in July to receive 25% off the estimate. Sounded like a good deal on paper but we were curious if they would inflate their estimate to offset the 25% off. As it turned out, Webfoot was the first company to give us an estimate, and we were pleasantly surprised at the cost to paint our Oak kitchen cabinets. We then brought in two more painting contractors, one being a smaller family run business, and the other a medium sized. In the end, Webfoot came in roughly 50% lower than two other Bend competitors. I even shared Webfoot's rough estimate with the smaller family run business and was told they couldn't reduce their estimate to anywhere near Webfoot's. We chatted with several neighbors who had used Webfoot in the past and felt assured they would do a good job. Webfoot allowed us to choose which date we wanted them to start, so we chose Jan 15th. We were given a time estimate of 3 to 4 days, and in the end, it took 4 days. The team of Josh, Lucas, and Austin were exceptional. They were diligent, professional, always on time, thorough, and friendly. We were almost sad to see them go as we really enjoyed chatting with them over the 4 days. And because of the specific paint we wanted them to use (Benjamin Moore Advanced - highly rated via internet professional painters) which had a cure time of 16 hours, that is what extended the painting from 3 to 4 days. Our biggest regret is that we didn't get our cabinets redone years earlier, after now seeing how the kitchen has been transformed at a relatively modest cost. We have zero concerns in recommending Webfoot to anyone based off of this one experience. And for any interior paint job that you might be able to delay having the job done until Dec - Jan, the 25% off deal I assume is an annual marketing tool of theirs to keep their teams busy over the winter, so keep that in mind as it helped us pull the trigger on moving forward with them. read more

Sometimes in life, you accidentally win. As it turns out, Webfoot played a big part in this one... When my subdivision turned 15, the HOA proclaimed it was time for everyone to repaint their homes. Mine was one of the last to get painted since Webfoot had a pretty long waiting list at the time. Meanwhile, my nosey/condescending neighbor kept hassling me for all those months about if I was having money troubles, and didn't I just love her new paint? She didn't believe I was on any waiting list. Anyway, she went on and on (and on and on) about how she had haggled her painting company down to $6000. And she crowed about it for weeks, in between fishing for compliments about her lovely paint. So, when Webfoot quoted my job at nearly double what she had paid, I just assumed it was because of her master negotiator skills, or connections, or nepotism, or whatever. I went ahead and paid the deposit, and scheduled with Webfoot for 3 months out. Unfortunately for the neighbor, Webfoot's work was so crisp and sharp that it made her lovely paint job seem like a DIY fail. Her lines are all over the place and, since houses are so close together in this subdivision, the difference in quality and workmanship is super obvious. So, yeah... she got exactly what she paid for. And so did I. There is absolutely no comparison. None. Hands down. Class dismissed. And I haven't seen her face since. -- PS. In the category of comprehensive house painters, it doesn't get any better than Webfoot. - They take care of any potential lead issues in a professional manner and with a minimum of fuss. - The house was prepped well - power wash, lots and lots of taping and masking, scraping off loose old paint, etc. I have confidence the new paint will last. - Crew was very professional and courteous. They tried not to disrupt us more than necessary and always seemed to be conscious of that. And they did so without acting like a forced-labor gang, as I've experienced with other major house work crews. These folks actually seemed to like their job. Weird. - They don't waste any time. The crew was on the job early each day, worked hard and completed the job pretty quickly, even calling in additional people to beat threatening weather on a couple days. - My walk around the house post-job found very few things I thought needed attention (and which were in fact attended to the next week). Webfoot won't close the job out until you're satisfied. - No huge mess during and none at all after the job was done. The crew cleaned up the place well, and quickly. The price? I don't know, house painting is expensive if you want it done right. Webfoot's price seemed in line with my expectations and they seem to have a reputation for standing behind their work. Webfoot's quality of work was fine, but I have some concerns about their business ethics. When I was given the original quote to refinish my porch, I asked why their price was so much higher than other vendors. I was told and I quote "well maintenance is included". By included, they mean an extra charge the next year. Also, I asked my contact about painting the facia boards and he explained that this would be a different work order, which I accepted. I'm not sure why a company would refinish a porch, but not include the facia boards, but okay. After they completed the porch refinishing I reached out to get a work order for the facia boards and no one got back to me. I ended up having to finish the job myself. I would not recommend this company and I will not use them again. Next time, I'll go with a smaller, independent contractor that values the customer experience. read more

After understanding my concerns, the company went above and beyond to correct them. The crew manager, Jason, came himself to fix the problems. When changing cabinet colors, in what is arguably the heart of any home, the kitchen, you quickly realize it involves considerably more than choosing a color. Choosing the right color, in the exact tone that will make your heart sing every time you enter the room, and from a one by one paint chip sample is...well downright diabolical. So when Ryan and Kole from Webfoot painting showed up prepared to turn my boring cabinets into something I would love. I must say I was not prepared for how far they would go to make me happy. While I expected an excellent outcome from this well-respected company, I didn't expect the level of camaraderie and sensitivity that this team served up every minute they were on the job. Our first contact with WebFoot was Jackson Diebold who did a walk through and wrote an estimated proposal with a breakdown of each room and photos. We we're looking for our entire interior townhome painted. Jackson was courteous, pleasant and answered all my husbands questions. The most difficult was choosing our color. We were referred to Rodda Paint in Bend. That was an excellent experience too. Then the day the lead painter showed and did another walk through, we confirmed our start date. Webfoot does the painting maintenance for our community. Paint was peeling off of the patio door trim on a 2 years new paint job. No prep work was done, cracks and holes were left open. I can't prove it but I examined the peelings and could find no evidence they used any primer-why it was probably peeling. On the rest of the siding, they only applied one coat-if that-the stain is so thin on the rough surface siding that you can see the wood through much of it. Anyway, they looked at the job on the door trim, last year and agreed to fix it, but when I arrived back in Bend last October, found that they had never come back. Now the wood had begun to soften and rot on the bottom, being exposed too long. It was too late in the season to paint, so I covered it. I ended up fixing it this spring myself because it was easier than trying to get them to come back again. Don't get me wrong,, I'm sure they employ some good painters, but mine was some of the worst hurriedly done work I have ever seen done by a professional contractor. Therefore my personal take on it is that you have to be there and watch them or they will leave you with substandard work and won't bother to come back and fix it if it is wrong. If they ever come back and fix the siding work, I will be accordingly fair and change this review. At this point I feel I am being almost too nice. It is really crummy work I was left with to fix. Good thing I had the know-how, some would not be as fortunate. read more

This was our third project with Webfoot and we continue to be very pleased with all aspects of their work. From the initial bidding process to project completion the team communicates well. This project was to repaint the exterior of our wooden window frames. The team masked, sanded, primed and painted the windows, repairing and filling as needed. So, I have to admit I am more of a reader on Yelp than a review writer but as a small business owner myself I am trying to get in the habit of complimenting the services I really appreciate online so they get the recognition they deserve. Webfoot Painting is one of the services that I want to give that public "pat on the back" to for always doing a great job on my various projects over the last couple of laps. I have had them paint/stain everything from fences to decks to the entire exterior of my home this past fall. Each time a crew has been by to crank out my to-do list they have shown an eye for the details and been fast and professional to limit the hassles to my family (they are especially cool with our anxious Border Collie!). As far as quotes and pricing go, Gavin & Travis are upfront about explaining the costs and process. They also don't seem to be in the business to just fleece you and move onto the next guy which is something that keeps me calling them back again and again. I highly recommend Webfoot Painting. I've used them for two painting projects. One was exterior and the other was interior. I was highly impressed starting with their professionalism in the initial estimate process, the manner in which they scheduled the work, the care they took to protect our interior furnishings and floors, the clean up at the end, the communication throughout and especially the final results. They seemed to be close enough in price to other contractors bids, but on an entirely different level in terms of professionalism. Of special note would be the interior job they did which involved 5 different colors including painting of our kitchen and living room built in cabinets. Would rather have paid travel time for 1 guy and had the actual work take a little longer. The coordination between teams for construction and paint was wonderfully convenient. The teams were also very accommodating with our schedule.
